Right, g'night folks, I hope to see people also wanting to go on Space Adventurers with a gaggle of weirdoes and outcasts with a build that's well suited to actually making headway and not being beholden to any powers anywhere, and just making the galaxy a better place right from the start!
Honestly I just really like the premise. There's something about it that's hitting my OG Star Trek nostalgia.

[X] Plan: TFW a history degree needs a battleship

What can be better than a war machine fighting to save the past in a galaxy that is rotting like a potato?

IMO this sounds the most fun.

Also a AI restoring the Russian or British Empire in space against.. whatever bastardised child of Rome that exists right now..sounds Great

My most concise (and totally accurate) summary of the plans:
Star Trek - in 40k!
Indiana Jones - in 40k!
Victor Frankenstein - in 40K! (and stitching together a god instead of a body)
Franklin Delano Roosevelt - in 40k!

'night. Looking forward to seeing how the vote stands in the morning.

My only worry with this is that we will need a place to put our musems and possibly help us teach. And we dont have anyone nearby who would be easy to convince. Now of course, we can always find a planet and convince them with the diplomatic suite, but i doubt we have a innoclast population that near us. The closest we have is the maiden world... and i need to check somthing once i'm done writing this.

seeing as how approval voting isnt actually disallowed.

[X] Plan: To free the teacher and a friend

I hope it wins, because building a god sounds incredibly fun. But its in last place and i get it.

More seriously however, @Neablis, could the "We're going on a space adventure" also potentially include an archaeological component (for example, setting up a museum on board), just not in as primary a role as with "a history degree needs a battleship"?

Secondly, would it be possible for Vita to obtain a warp entity's protection over the course of her journeys, or is that only available in character creation (or not as powerful if taken after character creation)?

And thirdly, is Vita mechanically restricted from ever come back to places she left (albeit probably only after an extended period of time) and most or all places being one stop only, or is it moreso softly emphasised by our nomadic playstyle with no hard limit on if and when players decide to return to a location?

Thanks for the answers and clarifications, apologies if this is getting touch into the weeds of thing.
