[X] Plan: Tha List & WARP Planet Mining (World Eaters real jelly)

The Gellar Iris is nuts. Protection against the Warp strong enough to quell a sun. That means way better warp travel. That means a significant weapon against Chaos. It could even lead to better warptech in the (thousands of years left to go) future, perhaps even something similar to the Warp Spindle or Hyperspace Tap without putting us at massive risk of Doom 2016-ing ourselves. I want the Gellar Iris and I think it's too useful in this setting to give up.

I love how the Thread's solution to potentially Doom 2016-ing ourselves by siphoning warp juice into materials using the warp spindle is instead to jump into hell with a multi-layered shield we can turn individual layers off and on to create a "reality blender" for daemons as we set our planet eater void ships to ramming speeds, having them start reality bending the corruption off daemon worlds and converting them into regular planets that then gets broken down to be used for building material, meanwhile entire armies of daemons are evicted from a section of space that actively plays red light green light with their entire existence

"lets not bring hell back home, but bring home to hell"
committing Manifest Destiny on Chaos, imagine just some random chaos space marine chapter holding a planet within the warp during 30k due to the immaterium's atemporal nature, and they just see some random planet sized skip racing towards them

Potential dwarf fortress spoilers
When the underworld was first added to dwarf fortress it was meant to be the end game, if it was breached the endless waves of demons would destroy the fortress. Even if you survived the first wave demons would just keep spawning. In under a month people were colonizing it.

Dumb idea for an alternate piece of warptech
The Casket:
A series of Gellar fields and advanced digital, technological, and philosophical containment/control systems, this device allows for the safe containment of a chunk of the warp's material. By using a sort of inverted gellar field at the center it allows for one to take a piece of the warp's power and pull it into the Materium. For what purpose? Computation. Using the achronal, incredibly chaotic nature of the warp, rendered in miniature via a small piece of it extracted and contained stably within gellar fields, it is possible to create a supercomputer of unsurpassed computational power. A Supercomputer that compresses thousands of cycles down into a millisecond through the manipulation of its internal flow of time, uses the warp's strange logic to solve previously uncomputable problems with reliability, can use "Fuzzy logic"/Intuition to shortcut problems, and can even locally split the timeline, creating dozens of parallel operating timelines in order to perform a form of multi-core brute force processing. Only a few problems, for one, the containment systems are an incredible power hog, which in turn creates issues with keeping the thing cooled. It's also currently fairly delicate, due to the array of different systems that need to be precisely tuned for this to work. Finally, well, it has a tendency to develop a personality when left on for too long, sentience emerging from junk data and minor errors, these sapiences in turn tend to be... as powerful as they are unstable.

Same here honestly, the Iris is nice but it feels like something we could develop on our own latter on while the Spindle feels more like a thing that won't be available latter without a lot of effort and luck.

-[X] Gellar Iris - A novel Gellar field which uses multiple redundant emitters, potentially dozens to hundreds, to create overlapping bands of 'reality'. Field malfunctions or failures are significantly less deadly.
    -[X] [Founders] ALL
    -[X] [Exiles] NONE
[X] Plan: Tha List & Daemon Eaters
-[X] Warp Spindle - Using powerful fabrication technologies and warp drive technology, the incursion of the warp into reality is 'siphoned off' into primordial matter, typically elemental hydrogen, oxygen, carbon and other 'early' stages of matter and then forged into denser and more complex atoms. It is, in the Warp or the presence of a strong Warp storm, the power to dream unlimited quantities of the native matter of the Materium into being.

-[X] Void Cloud - A swarm of aerospace drones or light assault craft carrying weak but fast-cycling and multiply-redundant Void Shield emitters, launched ahead of the formation. Diffusing the firepower of their most powerful direct-fire weapons allows for rapid advance or a secure retreat.

CHAOS: NOO!!! you can't just turn on the 1st and 100th gellar field layers on the IRIS to trap a daemon in the gap between and slowly turn on the 2nd to 99th layers to slowly crush a daemon with the weight of reality and true death it by preventing it's essence from having a connection to the warp, that's not fair

So, from what I understand we have to exile at the very least one group, and we keep all the other groups benefits, but the group that was exiled becomes a problem.

Oh thx.

May I ask how long this quest is going to be or are we gonna decide as we go along?

And will there be minor Xenos if I may ask?
