Do we risk the stress?

On the one hand I can see the value of getting all hands on deck for this kind of problem, on the other hand there's a not too insignificant chance this ends up with us trying to choke him out barehanded.

Siri's brief levity quickly fades. "Something very strange is happening in the Temple lately. Something I'm increasingly sure I don't like. I signed your petition because I believe in what we Jedi can do for the galaxy, and I can't condone just giving up on that to soothe a few quintillionaires' egos. But you need to be very careful. Make the wrong moves and the thing that's meant to bring the Order together could start to tear it apart instead."

Hrm. Wonder if in this timeline Palpatine isn't hyperfocusing on just Anakin...

If we try to avoid him, odds are he'll just find us anyway and ask why we didn't go to him. And here we are at 7 stress with another marked interval at 8.

This is an ugly choice. Fortunately, it's one we've essentially already made by reaching out to his master Siri (unless something is different here, please let me know if something is different here)

I'm still on board for taking this next stress break when it comes up, but boy is it getting tenser imagining what it might be.

[X] You don't need him.

There Is a very real chance reaching out to him is going to turn into a Bad Time, maybe we should hold off on this one specifically...

Senator Garm Bel Iblis of Corellia."

SENATOR!

Is Corellia Shipyards finally realeasing the one true ship to dab on the Kessel Run!?

"It puts the Council on notice that they can't just dismiss this. If it were just a few isolated rogue Knights, it wouldn't be hard for them to keep everyone in line. But we want them to see that if they ignore this move by the Banking Clan, they'll be going against the whole Order. They can't punish all of us."

All it takes is just one more charismatic figure on the back of some sensational traumatic event and the Revan School of 'Fuck All and We'll be doing this Ourselves!' is back in business once again!

(You're not exactly sure why or how. But you'll take it.)

Thank ye random but insightful Force insight, we'll also take it!

Embracing the dark side once in a while leads to a balanced non-boring lifestyle fit for a growing padawan of Anakin's caliber!

Let's maximize our wise jedi - stress inducing decision making for when things already went real shitty. We can deal with the consequences and Anakin losing his shit in the temple now, hopefully before he really sets into hiding and bottling up all his flaws and fears.

Also, " the guardians of the Pax Republicana will not be intimidated by clerks" sounds like it could have come directly from Mace's POV chapters in the ROTS novelization and I love it. Honestly having read that book between the last update and this one is making me reexamine some of the choices we face for Anakin here.

Best to let what's simmering under the surface to either be dissipated by honest confrontation, or to safely blow out in the Jedi temple where Anakin has friends who can help guide him with tools he does not have.
