…An idle thought questions if your plans are really a good idea as you skip across the rooftops.
Bouncing from AC units, sliding over solar panels, ducking under some jerks very obnoxiously large antenna dish that rotates just enough to almost poke you in the eye for a moment if you'd been standing up.
…The antenna isn't standing anymore… but you take no credit for that. Nope.
…You didn't accidently bump it while you slid, nope.
Hopefully he or she has some insurance for it or something…
Either way, your plans… are less of a concrete plan, and more of a bunch of half formed ideas all jumbled into one incoherent mess that hopefully works out how you want it to.
Because honestly, the most concrete part of your plan is that you are, without a doubt, demolishing this two bit Magical who thinks she can just appear in your city and go around bullying your cute Magicals.
It's even got Azure of all people plotting her downfall, and she's…
Well she's Azure, and she started stabbing you the moment she saw you, so maybe she's not the best example.
Eh, she'll warm up to you eventually. Just gotta keep whacking her till you beat all the useless self hate and doubts and loathing from her.
Nothing good comes to those who rush! And you've been playing this game for a looooooong time!
There's one big thing though that you've been debating. Or well, you've come to a decision on it at least.
It's time to give Imperial Purple a face. Whatever perception stuffs playing in the background will keep you from being recognised, sure. But Purple hasn't really been seen doing anything.
Elly's been frying cameras, warping perception and in general being a menace for anything recording or capturing you as a while all this time-
"I resent being called a menace. I am far more efficient and graceful then such"
But she HAS been cracking lenses and frying circuits for anything that catches you.
Meaning she fits the term. Even if she continues to disagree with the mental huff she gives you.
But, it's time for Purple to reveal herself.
Your church uh… disaster? Thing, should've gotten a heap of interest built up. Maybe your saving of Satsuki has done the same.
You're sure there's a bunch of small things you've done that've built up at least some intrigue as to who you are. Whispers, rumors, you know how can spread far and wide to everyone.
So, time to leverage that, and show the people what they want.
Purples face. Purples power.
And if you can frame it as you messing with a bitch and smacking her around, even better!
Might paint you negatively, but that's always been your aim. You're Imperial Purple. The Villainess.
And finally. You have a chance to stake your title into the ground. And show the world that you really are that.
Hopefully.
Assuming Argent doesn't do something all Heroine'y and frame your actions as something out of worry for her… Or paint this… uh… was Aqua her name? Or was it Cyan?
It was a shade of blue right?
Uh, well, hopefully she doesn't paint this Bluey girl as an evil person or something. That'd lessen the impact…
Or paint you a hero…
God, thinking back on this, you really should've planned this out better…
Eh, you're sure the Voices in your head'll make you reconsider if stuff starts going awry.
You slide down a railing, letting your feet guide you with experience they don't have as you become the human equivalent of a cheat loaded game of pong, working your way across the rooftops until you're close enough to your destination.
The cliche. The classic.
Everyone's favorite place. Well, maybe not Azures. But she's the minority in this instant.
Everyone else loves an empty, decrepit parking lot. Full of lamposts, manhole covers and worn lines.
By some miracle, the light posts even all have lights that shine brightly and illuminate the area.
You have a temptation to blow a few of them out, but, before you can, your eyes catch a flash of orange on the edge of one of the parking garages that ring the space.
And then you blink. Because you spot Lorica waving at you as she sits on the edge, kicking her feet idly as she smiles.
A bit more movement as you leaping around the parking lot, leaping up to the building and letting your heels click against the rockcrete construction as you end up behind the elf who shuffles over to let you join her in sitting at the edge.
"Hm~ Hehe, Spirits correct it seems. Hello Friend!"
Her ears wiggle a bit as she smiles brightly at you. A blinding smile full of pure joy that actually has you flinch for some reason.
You question why, but you give her a smile of your own, reaching into your hammer space and bringing out a muffin that you split with her as though it's the most natural thing in the world.
She makes a sound of approval at the taste, one that makes you smile just a bit wider as you scribble out a question with your free hand, adding some more question marks to further emphasize your confusion and surprise as to how she's here.
"Had feeling, Spirits guide. Wanted to meet, been hunting busy. Follow path, find Friend. Hi!"
It's… just the slightest bit annoying to see how happy Lorica is… you don't know why… but it irks you just a bit…
Maybe it's cause you were all in the mindset of being evil… and now that's breaking?
…Maybe she's making your heart throb in a good way?
Confusion.
You tell her you're glad to see her as well, pushing that weird bit of discomfort into a corner and keeping a mental check on the time… you've gotten here earlier then you'd planned, so no need to rush.
Five minutes, no seven pass as you listen to her chatter a bit. Not about the rifts. But just in general about what she's been up to after she demolished you in your last training bout.
You shiver a bit at the memory.
She's apparently been stalking around the convention center. Or, well, using her elvish appearance and magical girl form to make it seem like she's a cosplayer getting a look at the place.
She mumbles a bunch of jargon you don't understand about spirits and leylines, transitioning into a language that sounds like the whisper of leaves on autumn wind before the coming frost… somehow…
Trying to comprehend how that even makes sense hurts your brain… so you just decide to go with the flow. Lorica catches herself after a moment, seeming to jolt from some trance and giggle as she shakes her head.
"Ah, Sorry sorry. Short story long, place is bit odd, but, safe seems. Centered on leyline intersection… odd that city has two. But, maybe that city value? Um… simple term, Place very strong magic. Will know more if investigate self, can join Saturday if want? Will go back to add some. What call… Personal touches. Heh."
You stare up at the sky. Up at the stars. Up at Murphy.
And you swear as loudly as your thoughts can at him.
Because that's yet ANOTHER thing happening on Saturday to deal with…
…It's like he wants you to be in multiple places at once or something… You've got a picnic to relax, Alice is meeting with her sister, and you've also now got this you could do.
Well… if you're lucky, Alice'll be doing her meeting thing in the afternoon, leaving your night free to investigate with Lorica.
But do you really trust your luck?
You shake your head, turning back To Lorica, taking a moment to compose yourself by looking her over, noting that she seems mostly the same, though there's a few more ruffles of puffy white on her dress.
Her skirts a bit shorter, a slit down one leg, but the lost fabrics replaced by some more puff added near her sleeves.
Why your mind notices that first? You'd rather not delve into. But it does. It definitely notices her legs…
You blame games for making elves always stupid sexy… because Lorica is fitting that to a -
Nope. Enough. Not now.
Though you do point out the two extra hair accessories she's got now, two black ribbon like things that gradient down into orange streams of glowing light.
"Met new friend, Annoying Mutt introduced to I, Bought from new Friend, Goes by Number 40. Weird. But nice. Good Listener!"
The trails trip you out a bit, weirdly distracting as she shifts her head from side to side a bit to show them off.
Must look cool when she does a charge or something, leaving a pair of orange trails in her wake like an after image…
You should get some trails… or something like that, you could probably do some real fancy looking things with your chrono and void cores rapid movement stuff…
Maybe you can put in a custom order with Number 20… Or poke Lilly with a ten foot stick about it whenever she gets back to you…
"What friend up to? Why here? Very quiet. No people around? Something sneaky?"
You shrug to her, scribbling to her about your makeshift plan. And then adding a bit more about a few of your worries.
"No try. Try bad. As Magical Creed goes. Do, Do not, No try."
You feel like that's a stolen phrase, and your narrowed eyes has Lorica smirk at you.
…Nope. Hormones. Nope.
You know she's like the definition of prime Elf. But nope.
… But she's definitely sexy when she smirks so sassi-
You slap a palm onto your face and grind it for a moment. Wondering if your nerves about what you want to do are making you like this.
Yeah. That's a much better option than the alternative.
Elly giggles in your head, and that only makes you blush that much deeper before shaking your head and letting Purple's personal flicker back to the forefront.
"If okay. Watch then? Backup always good, right?"
You tell her you'll be fine, that this won't really be that dangerous, even if things get out of hand because of shenanigans… though she just nods at you.
"No problem then, right? Want to see Friend at work!"
You give her the silent equivalent of a sigh, nodding as you spot her start to puppy dog eye you from the corner of your sight.
And you studiously ignore her small fist bump of joy as you approve.
Even if it does bring a small smile to your face.
"Luck good. Will Cheer you on from sneaky spot!"
You give her a nod and a wave as you push off from the edge, letting the wind flow past you as you kick off one of the rockcrete barriers on the floor underneath.
A twirl of Curtana, and you land on the asphalt ground of the parking lot as though you'd just taken a step forwards, not even a hair out of place nor a rock shifted as your kinetic energy is absorbed completely.
A familiar feeling. And a comforting one as you take a deep breath.
You're curious as to how Lorica plans to hide away from the MaGi you're summoning, but you choose to believe that as long as it's not Knight, she'll be fine.
Hell, part of you actually thinks she might be able to beat Knight in a fight… you don't know why you think that. But you do.
And it scares you just a bit… maybe it warrants some more idle chat with Lorica about her past?
Hm. Maybe.
You slip over to the center of the parking lot. Taking a moment to kneel and feel the ground under you as you spool up your cores and close your eyes.
Time to pull a similar thing as last time.
Form an image. An image of a beacon. Shining bright. Flaring bright. Roaring and calling forth to the ones you want to see it.
To Argent, a Brilliant red flare that doesn't flicker, that doesn't fade, but glows brightly against the darkness.
To Azure, an Icy blade that glitters and reflects even in the darkest of lights.
Or maybe she's more of a turbulent pool that heals all wounds and purifies all ailments?
Hm, thought for later.
Visualize.
Add some magic.
Add some will.
Maybe do something else.
The image is strong. Your will is strong.
And as you borrow some light from your Void core and slow the shadowy hand of your Chrono core, your call ripples forth in a powerful, beckoning wave.
Now you Know.
A simple message.
And just a bit annoying to mess with Azure that much more. Because she's always cutest when she's annoyed.
Now, to wait. And what better way to do that, then with you pulling that table out from your Hammer Space. Along with your tea pot and the many snacks that come with it. Steaming warm as though fresh from an oven, and filling the space with a scent of baked goods that go just perfectly with the cold chill of the night air.
You assume it's a chilly night at least, it being winter and your breath fogging up and all that. Babr-e Bayan keeps you warm of course, not even noticing the cold.
And so, with two extra seats laid out. You wait.
And wait.
And wait some more.
Ten, twenty, thirty minutes… and still nothing. Your foot taps on the ground, a gentle click to mask your growing annoyance.
But, as usual, right as you're about to call it quits and pack up, a meteor of and blue slams into the ground near you, followed by a much bright blue shade that hits one of the parking garages on the upper floor.
Argent gives you a wave as the red fades from around her, Azure doesn't do the same.
But at least she's not pointing her sword at you for a greeting. So the smacking her around strategies definitely works!
..Though she does glare at you, and inch away from the manhole cover she's ended up landing right next to.
Much to your amusement.
"Imperial Purple-San! We meet at last!"
And so, your wonderful moment of meeting is ruined by the eyesore that stands dramatically on top of the parking garage.
Cyan hair cut to shoulder length, a gold and white pair of headphones around her neck with some white and gold hair accessories in her hair.
More white and gold in the form of a choker on her neck, with a bright blue gem that glitters in the starlight.
And then so much boob on display you don't bother to dwell on it. Talk about low cut…
Or is this the uh… streamer bait stuff you read about?
Blue dress from the waist, like a corset, but it fades to a much brighter cyan in color, edged in gold with a poof of white frills.
It's trying to be cute, you think… but with so much exposed skin on display… there's probably a word for what it comes across as…
More explosions of blue and white and gold along her arms. But again, with all the sparkling bits and pieces, you can't help but think those are there to draw the eye.
She's also a gust of wind away from flashing your duo of Magicals and yourself.
Well.
Your first impressions of her aren't exactly that great. But. You probably can't judge just from what you see.
But, maybe this deserves a bit of… rethinking your approach.
Especially if that blinking red light near her chest means what you think it does.
Should you…

[x] Go at this as you planned, A villainess shows no mercy to all who slight her. And this girl, has definitely done that with how she's been with your two favorites. Not being that nice to her is expected in kind no?
[x] Maybe she deserves a fair chance… there's got to be at least a bit of bias in what you've seen from the other two right? Take a cautious stance, but not aggressive right from the get go.
[x] Or maybe, you should let the voices pick, they've not led you astray so far, and you can always adapt on the fly. (Write in)
