[X][Margaret]Do a short period to see if Cabot spills the beans, then bring Margaret in on the real thrust of InGen's actual goals.

[X][Kon's Fate] Divide and Kon-quer. Leaving these two in the same division would be a massive mistake. Put Daniel in charge of the Robotics division and overseeing the development of some of their projects. This Bio Robotic Assistance Droid sounds interesting and the programming involved flies way, way way over your head. But they could be a good way to get help to injured park-goers, or even be used as a way for visitors to basically walk amongst the dinosaurs without actually being in danger. The elder Kon would be placed as a division head for the PR department where he could oversee the Revival Ranch's publicity.

[X][Sorkin Next Step] Spinosaurus. Not as big as Rexy is projected to grow, and theorized to be a piscivore, the large sail on its back makes it stand out prominently from the T-Rex. If it's an ambush predator like crocodilians, then it shouldn't be too hard to contain, but there's always the possibility that you're wrong. But it'll still be good to have at least one other big predator for the park as an attraction; they're usually one of the "must see" animals at normal zoos.

[X][Dilophotox]This is a chance to start getting a return on the dinosaurs without revealing their existence quite yet. More money is always needed to keep the lights on after all. Creating a new division of InGen to handle any other further medical discoveries is probably a good idea overall.

I'm curious how are Henry and Laura different from their canon counterparts at this point in time?
Laura is a lot better socialized than in canon, and Henry's ego has been deflated from working in close proximity with an actual peer. On top of seeing the dinosaurs in a much less sterile light thanks to Elliot basically forcing him to interact with them outside of the lab.

Actually that does give a different question.

How are the Dinosaurs different?
Well for one you're not using the frog patches that Wu used in canon, instead using other DNA that's more closely related; in part made possible by the revivals. Second, since you're going for the minimal number of patches, you're getting more accurate true-to-nature Dinosaurs. Which is why Rexie has protofeathers. Third, since you're not rushing like your grandfather was, you're able to better socialize and study the ways the dinosaurs behave; giving you a greater understanding of what will and won't work.

It hasn't been directly compared to canon though which is what I want. Because there's a lot "cautious" actions we took that don't have blatant immediate consequences but are still very important.

The closest to canon we've seen so far are the Dilophosaurs- the toxic spit and cartilaginous frill are back, whereas the other species we've cloned so far are much closer to the paleontological evidence than to the Spielberg movie monsters

(admittedly, the '93 and '97 dinosaurs were pretty cutting-edge reconstructions for the time- apparently Spielberg even debated whether to give the Raptors feathers, which had been predicted by Ostrom back in the 60s but wouldn't be confirmed until 1996 with Sinosauropteryx prima)

Only problem with dilpho is I think the ones in movie were kids as there is quite a few things saying dilpho was about 10-12 foot tall I believe definetely was near that size in book

I think a big part of why we are able to take it so slow is that our background and connections from it. Let us tell the board of investors that we don't really care what they think and that they're absolute idiots.

[X][Revival]Stellar's Sea Cow-ovitch. Apparently word of the request that the government had made of your company had made its way to Moscow. You've received a couriered letter requesting for you to revive the Stellar's Sea Cow for the government of the USSR. While it might get some people ranting in DC, you're a long way from there and it's hardly a request to create weapons...

[X][The Kids] Bring Lex and Tim here and share Jurassic Park with them to get an early vetting by the kids of what's fun, what's not, and what needs changed.

Interesting things all around and I will be honest what I want most of all the ultimate goal is a cambrian themed petting pool zoo for diffrent wacky species of trilobites and some early tiny mammals

You know, eventually we could hire Lex and Tim to the family business. Tim would be amazing working with the dinos, and Lex would be perfect for software and cybersecurity.

... Ah right, not Lex, Tim. D'oh.
No. Tim starts secretly working with Dr. Wu and Robert Bakker to try and reopen the park and revive his dream with the backing of Peter Ludlow, not that he knows that's who his backer is. Also manages an elephant attraction under his grandfather's name 'John Hammond's Pachyderm Paddock'.
Peter is working against him, lying about not breeding raptors and secretly making an army of carnivores to unleash on the mainland and ruin Hammond's name, and was destroying Lex's crops too iirc.

I see.

Yeah, I imagine that Elliot and Peter get on like a house on fire. Screaming, running around, and mass property damage.

@TempestK curious, any major knockoff effects to economy/industries of world since company has made the cloning of extinct species possible and more widespread in use every day?

1. Are there any company copycats who are seeking to achieve same thing and become competition? Making modified variants of livestock, race horses, pet breeds, exotic zoo animals, or even weaponization of cloned animals into warbeasts like in canon?
2. Any attempts to patent cloned animal life? In RL they did that with genetically modified seeds, and with a enough genetic changes people can 'own' different variants of animals made through cloning, making a whole new industry off of it.
3. Have any groups attempted to pass laws or sue company over 'playing God' and such?
4. Have their been any attempts to clone early man or ancestors at all by scientific community? Another thing that could drive the more fundamental crowds up in arms.
5. Any attempts to create designer/custom creatures using different mixes of DNA and such?
6. Gotten any governments to look into the potential growth of biological warfare from a different angle? In canon there was an attempt to make a modified locust swarm to wipe out food supplies after all.
7. Any calls by US government to come up to Congress and explain the potential dangers of new tech and such?
8. Have companies started to skirting environmental protections by saying they are 'storing DNA of species' so they could just do major environmental damage and say they can 'easily fix it' with cloning?
9. Are rich assholes thinking about making cloned super predators to stick them into a ring to fight each other like even more fucked up dog fights?
10. Have people thought about straight up cloning humans yet? Designer babies? Maybe at least cloned organs?

Well alot of spider genomes are completely trademarked like bark spider ect. Even the mammoth It's already a problem in real life beyond plants we have people sequenzing spider dna snipping out the silk producing Gene's and patenting them even if they are wild non modified species along with killing competition so none can use those DNA or patenting for future use such as cloning so you must buy the rights from them it's like those people who buy up all the IPs company names so you must buy up the rights from them or rent to have a trademark or website

[Revival]Auroch. The ancestor of all breeds of modern day cattle, Aurochs were larger with massive racks of horns. There's been some talk about trying to breed them out of their descendants, but honestly this way is much faster and more assured to work.
[X][Sorkin Next Step] Brachiosaurus.
[X][Kon's Fate] Put them under Margaret.

wait I'm confused. the way the Stellar's Sea Cow revival option is worded clearly says that the US is funding it, yet people are talking about us getting a reward from the USSR (right as it's about to collapse) can someone please clarify who we're getting the money from by bringing this species back?

There are 2 sea cow projects.
One funded by the US to snub the USSR, and one funded by the USSR that would make the US unhappy.
