Remember though, Elliot is a zookeeper, and one with a lot of experience with exotic animals. He sees that snout and the first thing he thinks is "Gharial".

Take that USSR/Russia. Collapse harder.
 
I am unsure if its a good idea to court favour from the USSR considering its imminent collapse. Anything we want to get from siberia we could probably just buy in the firesale of goverment assets that follows the end of the soviet union.

Personally I'd like the next dino to be the Brachiosaurus to stress test for the larger herbivores and give them time to properly grow (also if I can't get Littlefoot I'll go with the next best thing), as for the next animal I'm leaning towards the Stellar's Sea Cow just to spite the USSR.

Also We need to find a way to poach Irwin or at least some form of working partnership, wanna also try to nap Dundee if we can just for the hell of it....

For the other options here's where I'm leaning;

    1. I don't completely trust these guys so I'd like them to be watched, but I could be convinced otherwise.
  3. [Dilophotox]This is a chance to start getting a return on the dinosaurs without revealing their existence quite yet. More money is always needed to keep the lights on after all. Creating a new division of InGen to handle any other further medical discoveries is probably a good idea overall.
    1. While bringing back dinos and other extinct / endangered animals is our bread and butter I have no issues with seeing what other benefits these animals can provide as long as we're ethical about it.

    1. We're going to need a kid's opinion on everything anyways and this way we don't have to lie to family that's staying with us. We will however be watching them like hawks and ensuring everything is good to go before they see the dinos.

[X][Kon's Fate] Divide and Kon-quer. Leaving these two in the same division would be a massive mistake. Put Daniel in charge of the Robotics division and overseeing the development of some of their projects. This Bio Robotic Assistance Droid sounds interesting and the programming involved flies way, way way over your head. But they could be a good way to get help to injured park-goers, or even be used as a way for visitors to basically walk amongst the dinosaurs without actually being in danger. The elder Kon would be placed as a division head for the PR department where he could oversee the Revival Ranch's publicity.

With the Dilophosaurus growing quickly and with only a few hiccups as they're acclimated to their handlers and the enclosure, you think that you might be able to pull this off. Probably the biggest "medium" sized carnivore that you're going to be bringing back. With the knowledge gleaned from the Dilophosaurus it should make tailoring containment and handling for the species much easier. Like the Dilophosaurus they would become big enough to see a person as prey, and if the theories about them hunting in packs are correct, you'd be looking at something as or even more dangerous to raise than lions, let alone the wolves or hyenas that these animals have been compared to.

USSR's collapse has frankly already begun, due to mismanagement, poor planning and rampant corruption. A minor at best shot in the arm isn't going to help them stabilize and frankly might well hurt our future prospects as Uncle Sam and more importantly the bureaucrats and political dynasties that make up America's elite are slow to forget slights. Besides the American Dollar spends much better than the USSR Ruble.

If we want Margaret to be an effective business partner and shareholder, it would be best to let her in the secret now rather than wait until opening day which would also probably put a strain in relations.

For Kon's fate, I don't mind if the other one wins but I don't think either Kon has reached the level of Mantah Corp's evil in Camp Cretaceous and Daniel was noted to have some redeeming qualities in comparison to other Jurassic Park villains.

Don't mind if the other Dino choices win, but Brachio is good to have some nice herbivore support and get one of the most iconic dinosaurs.

Rhinos are my favorite animals and this will be good practice for when we get a chance to do the African Rhinos.

Don't see any reason why we shouldn't bring Lex and Tim. The Park is a hell of a lot more safer than in Canon and in neither the book or movie did Lex and Tim ever do anything wrong, they were just two kids caught in a crappy time and place. Plus I think they're mature enough to keep the secret.

A single revived species that isn't even a major part of Russian iconography or culture like the American Passenger Pigeon we revived is gonna do crap to save the Soviet Union. It was gonna fall with its downfall set in stone since the 60's and it deserves to fail. There is fundamentally nothing we can do to help Russia without spending massive amounts of money in influence, and that'll more than likely backfire on us. Not to mention that the Soviet has such a dogshit environmental record it would give the Lorax an instant heart attack.

The phrase "set a thief to catch a thief" holds some weight here.By putting them under Margaret's eagle eye it'll not only keep them from shenanigans but as part of your counter-espionage division they'd be able to pick out the holes in your processes and give recommendations on how to close them.

Much like Rexie is your stress test for large carnivores, these behemoths would set the ceiling on how big the herbivores you bring back would be. You're also well aware that very often herbivores are much more dangerous than carnivores. It's the Hippo and the Cape Buffalo that kill the most people each year in Africa, not the Shark or Lion.

I dunno about opening a pharmaceuticals division. That might get Umbrella Corp sniffing around. I think we should stay laser focused on doing dinosaurs right.
 
Seems like there would be a synergy to the Margaret/Kon's options, boosting relations with her then getting the useful but potentially dangerous trouble makers out of the way.

The Botox alternative seems like it would be useful in general as a structure to develop similar discoveries.

The USSR option? its probably mostly harmless (or at least the heat should be pretty brief) and if were lucky we can poach whatever scientist are consulted with when the USSR is broken up.

The kids are a serious security risk, but at the same time nobody will believe them cuz their just kids.

While it might get some people ranting in DC, you're a long way from there and it's hardly a request to create weapons...
