[X] Marcus Vibius priest of lame Vulcan proposed a daring plan. He could not alone down the bird of metal but his coterie could be formed into a squad with forbidden weapons of their own. They would number but a dozen, a drop in the great hordes of Lanius but they would have access to the laser and plasma weapons of old, red and green lightning at their fingertips. They were sure they could break back of the Blue Rose but that meant allowing the weapons of the Old World in, not as the trophy of a single officer but as a formed squad.

[X] Licinius of the Gladii, these close-combat specialist pointed that discretion and stealth would serve the Legion well. He didn't intend to withdraw or act the coward but he spoke at length about the dishonor of dying in vain. He proposed to lead his forces under the cover of night and overwhelm the camps of the Blue Rose and their power-armored sentinels with speed and ferocity. Brave he was despite his talks of subterfuge for he would bring machetes to bear against the panoply of the Old World. Yet legends spoke about how at least one of the knights of yore had been felled with nothing more than a poisoned dart shot from afar.

Using forbidden weapons in our first battle will draw atention, specially if we try a power play
