we don't really know if the one on the ox is in charge, and even if she is we don't have to give the apples to the one in charge. we are giving treatst to the mounts, not a formal welcome
One "was" too many.
Probably remove the final "and", or alternatively, change "giving" to "gave".As the cultivators drew closer and passed into the town, the gathered crowd giving them a wide berth, and Xiǎo Nú observed each of them in turn.

I assume the +2 xp total should be reflected here, in which case you missed it when updating the character sheet. Or is that simply the sum of the +1 to Charisma and +1 to Socialize?
I forgot to update total xp, yeah.I assume the +2 xp total should be reflected here, in which case you missed it when updating the character sheet. Or is that simply the sum of the +1 to Charisma and +1 to Socialize?
Any xp gained for any attribute/skill/anything else also counts towards total experience. So because Charisma and Socialize formed the dice pool for haggling with the merchant, and one success was rolled, each gets 1 xp, which means 2 total experience. So we get 1xp for every die we roll? Does the xp count both towards the specific pool and the general pool simultaneously?
He's a really good friend. Hope he doesn't die after the tutorials. He paid for the five apples with some pocket change, turning to Xiǎo Nú with a wink. "No need to break your string for such a minor purchase."
Can't we just look at the bottom of the stack?
