There is a male character in the choices if you would prefer so, each of these are meant to be distinct characters in their own rights even as they are meant to be the PoV for you the players. As for the romance bit, I don't really agree on it making things easier. If we end up at that down the road we'll still need to explore the same things about who our main character is interested in/why regardless of their gender.
 
Hmmm, both Luther and Margaret are very tempting. Luther for the nice trait and max starting Wealth to get ourselves running easier, and Margaret for the very nice trait and a bump to our lowest Attribute, putting us at all 2s 🤔

Played straight I would much rather not be a frothing at the mouth cultist of a non-major chaos god, if we are going to be evil let's do it properly instead of being regulated to at most a local annoyance for the authorities. Also I like the empire so uh, yeah SIGMAR.

This seems like the best way to make a mercenary company in the empire which focuses on mechanical warfare.

I am choosing Margaret because of a trait and because she gives the most freedom about things, much more than Luther...even if he is the only male character here. And I kinda hate it.
