You looked Jiraiya in the eye as you sat Naruto down across from him. "Dithc the kid Yamato, I won't talk to you while he's here."

Naruto looked at the older man with a glare. "You are my godfather. I have been living like an orphan for the last twelve years, and you were the person that my parents chose to watch over me if anything happened to them." He was crying, angry tears filled with fury and grief. "You are a coward for not looking at me in the face!"

You nodded. "Indeed Jiraiya. You are being a coward, just like Tsunade. But at least Tsunade decided to run away from all her responsibilities. Rather than just pick and choose what is important and what is not."

"You don't get to say anything Tenzo." Jiraiya shot back, and it caused you to freeze up. You weren't being called that name anymore. Only Kakashi was able to say that.

"Don't call me that!" You whispered.

Naruto was quiet, clearly realizing that it was not his place to say anything right now.

"Oh, and you think I willingly abandoned him?" He asked, feeling insulted at the insinuation. "I didn't leave him alone, Hiruzen-"

"Hiruzen left him in an apartment, and a monthly stipend meant to keep him alive. Nothing else."

At that Jiraiya stopped, as if that was new information. "What? You're telling me Hriuzen made Naruto live alone!?"

That surprised you. "Yes. Hiruzen left him an apartment, and money a month. Did you not listen!?"

Jiraiya seemed to be thinking of his words. "I did. But… he told me he was adopted."

That made Naruto trade a glance at you, before he asked. "Who told you that I was adopted?"

"Hiruzen did… but it was from a message delivered by-" Everything clicked together in his mind.

You realized it too. "Danzo." You both said at the same time.

Naruto then asked. "He important?"

You nodded. "It seems in your life, far more important than you realized." You said.

Jiraiya then looked at Naruto. "Kid… I think we should start over, from the beginning. There is going to be a fury of shit about to happen in the village when I get back… but that doesn't mean I don't care for you… I just…." He sighed with a smile. "Gotta lotta of catching up to do. My name is Jiraiya of the Sannin, Toad Sage." He held out a hand. "Nice to finally meet you, kid."

"My name is Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki." He said with a smile. "Future Hokage!" He then looked at you. "Proud Member of Team Chaos!"

Oh God, that name is going to stick now!

There was a sad smile on Jiraiya's face when he heard those words. "Nice to meet you too."

Reward: Naruto and Jiraiya talk and begin to form a relationship.

You learn that Jiraiya wasn't in Naruto's life... due to Danzo.

Sasuke was not amused. "What the hell is this?"

You frowned. "Cooking utensils. The Land of Iron is known far and wide for some of the best cutlery in the world."

Sasuke frowned. "Who would I even cook for?"

"Your team. You seem to have some talent for preparing salads." You said, complimenting him.

"Tell me with a straight face that anyone on this team, sans myself and you, would enjoy a salad?" Sasuke asked.

You frowned. He had a good point. "Well think of it as an investment to the future. Maybe when you get a family of your own?"

Sasuke frowned and looked at them. "I… won't have one… not until Itachi is dead."

You frowned and took a deep breath. "You don't need to have him dictate how you live your life. He's gone."

"He's still out there! How do you think I can live, knowing he can come back!" He cried out in fear. "That I'm not strong enough to stop him from hurting anyone else!"

You frowned… you knew that pain all too well. He then let out a wail of fear and fell to the ground.

And you held him in your arms, the same way an old friend had, long ago. He tried to stop himself, to gather his strength to stop… But instead, you whispered. "It's okay… let it out. Let it all out."

And you allowed him to cry. Something you never had the chance to do. You knew that Sasuke was a ninja, and such emotion was unbecoming of him.

But he was also a child, traumatized by so much on that night. Who never got a chance to process what he truly lost.

You were not qualified to do any of this. But you knew what he needed right now. He just needed someone to listen to him. Others could help him. But right now, all he had was you.

When it was all over… Sasuke looked at the gift again. "Thank you, Yamato-Sensei."

Reward: Sasuke reached Catharsis. For a time at least.

He also enjoyed the gift. He hoped that one day, he could do something productive with it.

You looked at YAkumo and looked at all the chocolate that she had in an ice box. "Holy… Where did you get that?"

"Went to the Daimyo, and we made a contract. Though I took what I learned from interrogation to good use."

"That bastard was putty in my hand! I never saw a man shit and piss himself at the same time, screaming about what it to stop!"

You paled. "You brainwashed the Daimyo!"

"I mean, when you put it like that, it does sound a little… unethical." Yakumo smiled. "But no, I did not. I just scared him so much to sign over my chocolate. And i didn't even take all of it, just enough to fill some cargo containers. The Village will have a festival of chocolate thanks to me!"

Dear god, what have you done? "At least tell me you didn't do anything crazy?"

"No I did not loot the palace. That would have been mean.'

Oh, thank goodness. "But I will be using the chocolate as deductibles on my taxes. Hiruzen ain't getting a dime of my money."

Reward: Yakumo and Hanzo, got their reward. Of Chocolate… and tax write-offs.

I am going to keep this short Lord Hokage. Because there will not be an in-person debriefing. My kids have been through enough. So I am going to make sure that I explain the three things that we learned, and you to fix them.

1. There is an infiltrator from Stone in this government and the village and by god, you need to find him or her before we get fucked! Put Shiro on it, he seems to be capable enough. Or Kakashi or Asuma, we need that fun to happen.

2. You didn't try to rescue a Uzumaki that was in Grass for 20 years! Well she blew up Grass for that trouble. You should be thankful that her daughter was retrieved and she is fully cooperative in joining up.

3. I blame Danzo for this mission. Something tells me that he was responsible for this shit.

Yamato's stats are unchanged due to this just being another day in the life.

Yamato has gained 50,000 XP for doing most of the work. But that's the Jounin Sensei Grind set. (Got to turn that mindset into the Grind Set)

They have leveled up to above Level 5.

[]The Shadow: Maybe it was the fact he spent a lot of time with Naruto, his energy, and his almost annoyingly infectious optimism. It was like he was trying to stop him… to keep him from the path he was on… And it was working. Maybe it was the fact he never gave up on him… But Sasuke Uchiha was Naruto's supporter. His number two… the young man who would follow his Hokage into hell, when asked, no matter what. (Naruto must choose the Future Hokage Path)

[]The Medic: Yamato's training to be a medic has grown on him, and Sasuke Uchiha has made a vow. He would be the greatest medic in all of Konoha's history. Which would take him the rest of his life. But that was something that he would be okay with.

[]The Sharingan: Sasuke would take up the mantle of the Sharingan. He would study jutsus and add them to his arsenal. He would become the lethal weapon in an arsenal that would never run out.

[]The Avenger: Itachi took everything from him. He took everything and he would not rest until he died. The ghosts who were slain would never rest until it was done. (The Avenger trait upgrades, along with all his training rolls… but there is a dangerous possibility that Sasuke's mental state will collapse, and he will seek other methods to improve)
