There's a collection in your apartment. Which you can access, thanks to one of your divine cheat wishes. (You may have had some questionable priorities. But on the other hand, your boobs rock now.)

That collection isn't with you now… But your equipment is. The stuff an adventuring Bard should have on her. Well, maybe not any adventuring bard. But the specific one now standing awkwardly on the beach, at least!

Some of it's in a backpack, which is a bit further up the beach. When you retrieve it, you see that it's basically the starter equipment set. Could be worse. (The fact that some of these aren't items modeled in AWO is weird, though.)

You've got your Succubus uniform on already… But it's a sandy mess. Concentrating, you cast prestidigitation, and the sand gets kinda gently pulled off of your outfit. That's better. Not like you're going to go off seducing random people for its own sake or anything, but it's the feeling of confidence you want back, and that helps.

A shriek. You look toward the sound - feminine, high - and then, another, closer to a war cry. Same person, your demonically-enhanced senses tell you.

You're moving. Your wings flutter out, stabilizing your movement and trivializing running through sand in high heeled boots. (Succubus School taught you well.)

The voice… The most logical answer, if this is where you think it is, is that they're another capital-A Adventurer.

Meaning, most likely, another Player. Like you.

You had logged in to play last night. Was that related to this somehow?

Or was this some weirdo dream sequence? What you were seeing was a combination that shouldn't be possible. But then, there weren't a lot of signs of that weirdness of dream logic. You weren't instantly shuffling from place to place.

There's a sandjewel attached to your wrist, suitable for communicating with allies across great distances. Opening it up…

… None of your crew is on? That's. Not unprecedented, but it's kind of weird. Unless -

A clash of blade against… Something… ahead. Keep moving. If what you think is going on is the case -

Vulpecian. Blonde. Several tails. And your enhanced senses tell you quickly the blades are… Solidified illusory blades? Interesting way to fight. Doesn't cleanly match any AWO class. That might mean you're not the only one who got pulled into the game from outside somehow. If that's what is happening. You don't know that for sure.

Perhaps more urgent in her experience, is the very large crab she just struck. Like, the size of a car. It's a local animal in the area, but aggressive and also possibly tasty. That part shouldn't matter for a Succubus - you don't need food. Except, possibly tasty. Girl's gotta have a priority or two right?

In you go, until you're in range…

… To raise your lute, and channel sound into a strike against the creature.

Magic and more magic - there's better ways to fight, but the floof seems to know what she's doing - namely, putting more into keeping the crab out of range than hitting them. Which means your own musical damage is a lot more important.

Hit and fade. Hit and fade. Or in this case, with how much threat this girl already has, just keep hitting-

Around the seventh blast, the crab drops.

You look towards the girl. "... You look like someone who could use a song. I'm Senaz."

The fox-tailed girl giggles a bit, and starts to walk toward you. "Hey! I'm Tammy, and maybe there's something you can do for me~"

Wow, her tails are so fluffy. There's so many.

Why are they so fluffy?

It feels like a sudden bolt of clarity strikes across your head. Tammy's pulling stuff with tails that definitely isn't in AWO. That matches the illusion powers.
