I kind of want to make a pair of Magical Tomes that can only bring out their true potential when used together. One would be a grant the power to "Defy Logic" and the other would provide guidelines to "Fulfill Desires". Using both would effectively allow one to "Grant Wishes" and warp reality. But you need both, as one without the other is much lesser than the combination.

The Tome which "Defies Logic" is chaotic power that lacks a means to guide and properly shape its abilities beyond something like summoning lightning bolts even in a clear blue sky or enclosed space, or shaping stone into a statue without all the steps.

The Tome which "Guides" doesn't give the user any real abilities beyond how they can go about fulfilling their desires and completing whatever goal they have. It can certainly give them a step by step plan on what they have to do, but if they lack the Will or means to carry out that plan, then they're S.O.L.

The two Tomes working together meanwhile cover each others weaknesses, allowing one to use the power of the First Tome with the guidance of the Second Tome to perform more complex tasks that would be otherwise impossible with just one.

Thoughts?

I feel incredibly lazy and have not read the past 2 updates.

Gunbugs are metal beetles with guns growing on their backs. The consume earth to refine into metal and concrete. They use the metal to repair and grow their bodies and create ammunition. They use the concrete to create their nests. As they grow, they molt their shells and guns, to replace them with bigger shells and guns to accommodate their growing form.

[] House of Cards
So the Hands are at it again for the Simple and Complex have seen that they're not nearly enough in their service despite their claim upon the soul of Humankind. The Simple proposes the easiest and most simple solution a break for their spirit so they may rest their tired spiritual-essence for a while. With a reward of in retirement for how long they work so they may enjoy the luxuries of mortal life. The Complex disagrees for that is boring if practical no what would be better is to increase the fold to the rest of the mortal people. to welcome them into the next life as servants forced to mesh with a tired workforce so they may squabble and politic their way through an imagined hierarchy.

Clearly neither agrees with another, Loss calling their brothers a maniac who will excaberate the problem leading to a smaller and smaller number of servants. With the Three Triplets of Growth calling their opposite a fool to believe that mortals will work for years for a promised reward when all they need is an injection of new workers!

So they play a game... for many years they play before finally giving up as draws come after draws.

So they shake hands and say, "Let us try a middling path." For in the mortal world they construct a grand House of Cards a temple to the Trinity of Trinities in the shape a Roulette Disk upon it head. A circular building divided in half painted in the images of the Hand of Loss and Hand of Growth from the Least, Middling and Greater in each of the six-gods natures. At the centre just lays a circular table with a single six sided dice for all those to become the caretaker of the House a servants of the Left Hand or the Right Hand of the Three Who Are One.

The House of Cards to be a place of luck, cards and dice which shall inspire a priesthood in their name one that will shepherds new souls into the afterlife for the grand and holy mission of keeping the world running. With the priesthood chosen by a game of chance were the Hands shall claim them into service in life and death as overseers for what is to come. A reward and a curse in a sense for they gain some authority yet with it work.

The Priests of the Left Hand talk in the nihilistic and destructive ways they shall come to learn for the Left wishes to bring Simplness to the world to rip away all that troubles and complicates. Yet it is honest, it understands how tiring life can be and demands only what they wish to give no petty squabbles, no petty tricks or complicated schemes. Just simple hard work and rest with the reward of a better reborn life for all the effort the mortal people put into their afterlife. It one demand to work towards making all of creation just a bit less chaotic and complicated.

The Priests of the Right Hand talk in passions of optimism and creative ways that the Right loves to create more, to see more and to make the world oh so more interesting. It encourages ambition and taking life for all it worth to achieve your dreams in the greatest sense of the word for all deserve to have an interesting life if not a good one. But it is a schemer, a liar, a cheat who shall desire ever-growing chaos and change in life for stagnancy is it opposite and it expect from it followers to do the same. It shall welcome all into it great mission of making the world ever greater even if it just lie to get them to follow!

For now I only feel interested in two ideas: Death Cats and Heterochromia. Other things just don't give me any 'oofs' story wise or just via being interesting. Try harder! Talk about things more!

What do you want from the next Age? What is your vision? Maybe you have some big project in mind, which needs help from others? Anything?

[X] Chill Cats
Create a pair of cats who are eternal and ageless, these cats are extra fluffy and adorable. They are a black cats, with white stripes in a skeletal pattern on their feathers. They are to be companions for death as she tends to the afterlife and underworld. Death can choose to experience the senses of the cats as she wills, and the cats are highly intelligent animals able to follow her directions, they can freely return to the underworld, and know all the best ways up to the earth. They are to serve as eyes and ears for Death to the world above. Though Death may also choose to use them as messengers

[X] Tomes of Red and Blue

A pair of books, one red and the other blue, infused with power from the Primordial Sun. The Red Tome grants the one who owns it the ability to wield magical abilities that can Defy the Logic of the Tapestry, allowing for phenomena to occur that do not obey the laws of physics or causality, though requires the user to understand and clearly picture what it is that they want to happen, with more complex applications requiring extreme levels of concentration and imagination. The Blue Tome meanwhile can provide instructions and guidance in how one can accomplish their goals and fulfill their desires, such as giving a plan that if follow is guaranteed to work, however the Blue Tome does not give one the ability to carry out those plans if they do not possess it already, be it physical or mental. Both Tomes can sense when the other is nearby, and will begin to glow with a faint fiery aura of their respect color when within a 50 meters of each other that grows more intense the closer they are. When both Tomes are utilized together, the Blue Tome will provide guidance for the Red Tomes power, allowing one to rewrite the Tapestry around themselves and realize whatever desire they possess. Once the Books begins to glow with their Auras, the owners will feel a compulsion to seek out the other Tome.

The books can shift from their default book forms into orbs of red/blue light that merge with the owner, causing flame patterns of their respective colors to appear on the owners bodies.

The Red Tome and The Blue Tome shall fall into the hands of two individuals who could disrupt the great game and make it so neither Hand's champion will win.

(Both Moments of Glory will be spent on this.)

[X] Heavenly Luminaries

The Great Artisan was captivated by the world after his rebirth, prompting him to take a break from searching Words of Power and contemplate embarking on a journey. To ensure his safety and ability to return if necessary, he borrowed a few Lesser Sparks from his siblings, with Pyralis, his mother, not wanting to lose him again. After bidding farewell, the Artisan set out towards the Holy City. And after he would go beyond. Along his travels, he sought out various masters and teachers to impart their knowledge upon him. In return, the Artisan offered his skills in crafting artifacts or sharing his wisdom through books and lessons. This exchange enabled him to continue his journey of exploration and learning. Although he encountered individuals who sought to harm or capture him, but the Harmonious Dragon always found a way to negotiate, escape, or triumph over his adversaries.

Thus, the Artisan journeyed, accumulating knowledge and leaving behind his own creations and writings. In the final years of his expedition, he stumbled upon remarkable discovery brimming with immense potential. Carrying a Chrysalis with him, he returned home with a burgeoning idea for a new project already taking shape in his mind. He saw how the Light of the world was dimming. And it wasn't something good for the future in his mind. So the Artist planned and started execution of the Heavenly Luminaries project.

The Artisan embarked on a grand endeavor to craft two colossal Celestial Bodies, drawing upon all his knowledge and skills. The first creation would be the Sun, representing the ultimate source of energy and embodying the concept of preserving idea of the Primordial Light at its core. The second creation would be the Moon, serving as the ultimate source of absorption to counterbalance the infinite energy of the Sun. Its essence would preserve the gateways that lead to the Realms of Darkness and Death. Remarkably, both celestial bodies would be intertwined as one, forming a single entity akin to two sides of the same coin, but looking like to opposite objects in different places. This extraordinary creation would be crafted from the Chrysalis that the Artist had discovered during his journey. They would move in endless steady dance and work in harmony with each other to preserve the world as long as they can.

In order to undertake such a monumental project, the Artisan required ample time and a secluded space to work undisturbed. Fortunately, Pyralis possessed the Spark of Time Bending, granting her the ability to manipulate time. Additionally, she possessed the Spark of Space Shaping, enabling her to create a hidden sanctuary where the Artisan could labor secretly on his project until its completion and unveiling to the world. Pyralis would fashion a protective dimensional bubble of accelerated time, allowing the Artist to work within for extended periods. However, she would periodically halt the passage of time within the bubble, retrieving her son for moments of relaxation and conversation with his family. Only after a substantial rest would the Artisan reenter the bubble, resuming his work at the same stage. Within the bubble, time would speed up again enabling the Harmonious Dragon to accomplish the work of millennia within the span of years.

After such arduous work, the Artist would understandably feel exhausted but also a deep sense of pride and fulfillment. As the Heavenly Luminaries began their celestial dance, marking the boundaries between morning, afternoon, evening, and night within their designated sphere of influence, the Artist would finally allow himself a well-deserved rest. He would gaze upon the fruits of his labor, taking joy in the realization of his grand creation. Day and Night were born.

Yeah, that's pretty much my intention. Part of the reason they have something as chunni as different colored eyes as an indicator of their signifigance.

Authored Act:
[X] Heterochromia
By the mangled knots of the tapestry, where the small Gods entwine and profligate, the world still grows; it grows with a frenzy. From one of these places, those Gates into a new dimension of change, an experiment done by the cooperation of Enlightened and High Priests comes to fruition- and the world changes ever so slightly, no one the wiser, the test a seeming failure. The Dungeon of the Cat's Eyes is allowed to collapse, and very little is said about it afterwards. Yet, in that place, in a meeting between the Least Gods of Coincidence, Happenstance, and Luck, a new concept is born from their union- and mutated through the domain of Least God of Cat's Eye.

The Least God of 'Miracles' becomes the Least God of Heterochromia; a blessing and a curse onto the world forevermore. For so long as people are born, there will be two among them in each generation born with eyes of odd color; The Left Eye of Silver, and the Right Eye of Gold. Whosoever bares this stigmata will carry the burden of an interesting life. They are doomed, regardless of if they would become a villain, a hero, or nothing at all, to encounter so many turning points in the world that it should certainly kill them- and gifted with the luck to both survive and influence those events of their will.

One way or another, their names will be recorded in history, actions are carved into myth, their words passed down by legend, and their footsteps will shake the world. Where the bearer of this auspicious mark gather, strange and stranger things happen in great and greater concentrations.

We probably need to write story about them, at some point, if this one pass. Also, I feel like this eye-mark going to create some interesting situation, because people would understand meaning of this at some point. And for sure would try to make use of it in some way.

My books shall be used to throw a wrench into the Great Game.
Well, does it mean it should be Universal level act? Didn't they restricted in this phase?

Well, it's not directly effecting the Game itself. It's just being given to people who could mess with the selected champions.
Knowing Mannan the mere possibility, mere chance is enough to elevate things into stratosphere of Universal! Good luck!:V

Crab Chefs cook Crabs. For Void Dragons, it serves as something they can do to pass time and satisfy their near non-existent tastebuds. Crab Chefs wander in order to find ingredients and techniques to improve their recipe. Perhaps, something simple like simply dipping Crab in Dragon''s Tear Sauce is best. Or perhaps, you should marinate it in Light. Or do both. Each Crab Chef''s personal recipe is different, using secrets they collected over their lifetime. They give their Crab out to interested entities sometimes, utilizing their taste buds to further perfect their recipe.

This is an evolution of an idea I had after Mannan said the Thassalians were dealing with a lobster infestation. This Act adds some fluff and gives Void Dragons something else to do rather than sleep. Also, who would expect one of the most destructive beings in the universe if not the most to be a chef?
