Standard? How the hell are the seppies 'standard' of all things? Besides, Jedi quests are a dime a dozen, in my personal experience. A separatist quest? That's some priceless stuff.
Oh please you can't throw a rock without hitting some generic space military quest.
I just personally do not care for it, ESPECIALLY with star wars, with Star wars literally everything else is superfluous to get to force users and Jedi andSith stuff in my book and people's interest the stuff within it outside of that (many they can get in almost ANY OTHER Sci-fi setting) just boggles my mind

He seeks to rebuild the Republic as it once was, restoring democracy and peace to the galaxy, but needs to contend with the policies of the Clone Wars, the Senate's distrust of the Jedi, and the presence of a still-functioning Separatist government.
Don't want to play as Empire: The Second Fiddle, nor as Corrupted Monks: Justified Corruption. Wouldn't say no to trying to turn the War Crimes Committee around, but overall. I'd rather try and rebuild Democracy, and drop the Force clicks like we just found out the pressed bricks we've been holding was pressed shit. Ironically, that would be the best way for the Jedi to recover, by no longer being a part of politics. It'd be cruel to do so to the stagnant corrupted defenders, but right now, it's both in theirs', and the galaxy's, best interest.

Star Wars does tend to focus on the Jedi and Sith but there are plenty of interesting topics in it that get ignored to focus on them. I'd rather deal with the political and ideological struggle of finding out your entire country was ran by the evil guys, figuring out how to improve, and dealing with the guys on your side that either want to leave or want to continue what the Sith were doing.

Jedi have frequently taken leadership roles. Look at the Republic during the Draggulch Period, during which many Jedi rose to the position of Supreme Chancellor, or the Jedi Lords of the Jedi Grand Council (as opposed to the High Council) during the Republic Dark Age. There have also been fully secular wars, even recently. Just look at the Huk War, as an example from the top of my head. Furthermore, it would be more accurate to say that the Sith are the primary causes of war, not the Jedi and Sith. One of the primary duties of the Jedi is to act as diplomats, and prevent wars when at all possible. In contrast, the Sith, and the Dark Side as a whole, have a tendency to cause or provoke wars for the sake of amassing more power, as the Dark Side is wont to do.
Additionally, I'm gonna have to ask people to keep it civil. I'm looking at you, @KingMe, among others. Discussion and debate is fine, but I'd rather that vitriol be minimized.
Regardless of which side wins, the other side is going to be a very real consideration. The Force and Jedi are integral to Star Wars as a setting, and the CIS is still a very significant polity.

I would vote for Yoda as the Jedi perspective here, but the man is old, tired, and needs to retire. Espescially if one is of the opinion that many of the Jedis problems can be laid on the fact that, wise as he was, Yodas centuries of leadership left the Order stagnant.
Now an Obi-Wan or Ashoka Tano quest with this premise? Gimme.
Also, for clarity, Anakin/Vader is dead right? Noone dragged his charred ass off Mustafar? I mean, the duel there happened AFTER Yoda fought Sidious iirc, and feeling that death may have changed shit.

I'm kinda torn between Singh or Yoda. On one hand, I'd love to make something good out of the CIS and create an actual separate political entity from the Republic. On the other hand, I also want to see how Yoda will try rebuilding the Jedi Order and help restore the Republic. Both present pretty interesting scenarios for this quest.
From what I read they are more or less solid fuel pallets I believe, being slotted into a vulture and that's it. Honestly it wouldn't be bad to also shove a ion engine or two into a potential vulture upgrade package as a backup.
Also, I like the fact we ar speculating about potential military reforms and upgrades, truly a confederacy moment.
