We did just joined an office that likes information control, let's get better at it.

Or we could follow the Shi Heathcliff method of assasination, I think. "If everyone is dead there can't be any witnesses" sounds fun.

Malfean stealth: they won't see you if they're too busy looking at the giant explosion.

-[X] Respiratory implants to inhale Smoke safely and get better protection against low oxygen/noxious gas

Dunno if this will get much traction, but this is the only way for Smoke weapons to be practical to vote for in the future. Smoke will debilitate targets that survive the first strike and help us cut them down on follow up. It can also double as a concealment/diversion/getaway tool. Think cyber ninja!

On one hand, we could use our brains to think of something that would be both beneficial to us now and in the long run, on the other hand...

I'm feeling lucky!
Still, it's nice to know that not only did we survive tax season, we also got into a new office with our wonderful boss-
gleam an ominous red for a second, sliding between you and your former boss.

A scar runs down one eye and over his cheek, another along his jawline. A bit of stubble completes the picture of rugged attractiveness and danger.
... Is this past Red Gaze?

He would have already been a rank 1 for a while now. So it isn't him.

I still want to go full Smoke, mind you. I just reworked my priorities. It should be-

Smoke is also extremely well suited for assassins because it deals uninhinged amounts of damage and wil instagib even Impuritas enemies because it's just that good.

Edit: Oh well.

I wouldn't count on it being as absolutely unhinged as it is in Ruina (seriously what were they smoking when they made sooty thwack) since this is a narrative quest, and even in a quest with numbers it would probably be rightfully nerfed. I just think it's an interesting and distinctive effect for our aspiring fixer. It fits in with our current aesthetic in the sense of fire being where there's smoke.

Also, approval/multiple voting is not allowed so you have to choose the option you like best and stick with it unfortunately.

-[X] Search around for a better strength augment- preferrably, something capable of outputting a greater burst of strength at a critical moment. However, make sure it doesn't have a worse overall performance.

Would smoke be a hazard to our own teammates? Additionally, there are augments that make you immune/gives benefits to smoke so, wouldn't it be easy for us to be countered by another group of smoke wielders or something?

As stated before in this quest, smoke is strong combat drugs, Unless we can make a full body organs arug to make us get used to it, it's not gonna help us, in fact, it's gonna hurt us. and I don't really want to dabble in it because I don't like drugs.

Depends on the quantity of smoke, I would guess. Shi-type elimination work may tend to be solitary or behind enemy lines, which would mitigate the impact on teammates if any.

Yes it's hard countered by the right augments, though to my understanding smoke is exotic and only a couple specialty groups use it. And by that same token, we would be immune to enemy smoke users. To kill them, there's good ol' burn.

Not liking drugs is fair. Really, my vote is about getting whatever foundational augment is needed for smoke immunity or smoke utilization, so if it must be more than lungs I will change the vote to match that. The added bonus being that anything that can filter smoke is likely to help with poison gas too.
