Huh, so non-generic angels can be born from the prayers of a single More Than Mortal being instead of a collective of mortals?

Idk, being basically the equivalent of a wish fulfilled in exactly the wrong right way sounds cool to me.

"nearly impossible" sounds like a challenge. Also, there is nothing more homoerotic than trying to kill eachother.

The thing I'm not understanding is why the Prayer is considered easy mode, yet the Twisted Wish is considered hard mode? It seems more to me like Twisted Wish is easy but you have to navigate carefully if you want to actually get a good end, and that'll be hard, while the Prayer is a very hard journey as well but if you complete it then you're almost guaranteed a happy end. Basically, both seem to be hard mode but in different ways?

It was a light hearted hyperbole to play up an option Ruk liked more.

I'm a notoriously generous Quest Master and very forgiving when players mess up on something. (I made a boss fight in Mainline that was meant to stone wall players for a bit but actively left out it's worst ability to give them a win.) So Ruk wanted the more interesting -to them- option.

The only real difference between the two is the Angel is weak and thus has to Get Gud to get her victory, but the Greater Nightmare has to actively overturn the metaphysical laws of the setting to get her win.

(Personally, I want the Angel to win because I've been wanting to do something with Angels for a while and Someone in the Discord gave me a very interesting idea.)

Ah, okay. I did read the entire main story and think I might know what boss fight you're talking about (and am still very sad it's dead but it's okay.) so that is interesting to know.
 
I am here, but I have no real opinion on either of these options right now.

This is kind of sad, though. Not that you are generous, but that it I can agree most QMs are nowhere near as forgiving. This should be the norm, not the exception.
