A note about the consideration for Arming the Long March - shouldn't we talk to Fhiron first before we do that? Given that she's actually been out there. It'll probably give us some helpful guidance for what the troops need most of all.

I'd say let's do the Fhiron Social this turn and then get to the crafting afterwards. I'd honestly like to focus on enhancing our magical capability this turn.

I'm not against that idea. I certainly agree we should be focusing on magic this coming turn.

That said I have an additional note to highlight for the thread in general regarding The Art of the Blade that seems to have been missed by some.
The Art of the Blade: To be a Loremaster, one must master the sword, at the least a bastard sword though truly mighty two-handed blades that require the grip of both are growing more and more popular. Furthermore you must forge your own blade. While it is a sign that one desires to become a Loremaster, it is hardly unknown for others to learn their art.
We need to forge our own blade, which means we need the crafting materials with which to do so (I presume we'd gather then via Bits and Bobs).

Also, doing the blade after we finish the Art of Two means that we're theoretically able to do Multi-Wind Enchantments for our first blade which would be cool.

This looks perfectly acceptable too, though I'd still like to remind you that if Art of Two unlocks the Temple, maybe most of the Thread will vote to unlock that.

And why do you feel the need to complete the Cure urgently?
We have no idea if we'll get an applicable trait for the Temple nor if we'll get any more discounts on AP needed, so even if it gets unlocked we'd likely need two turns to do so, giving us some free AP to spend on other things.

For the Cure, in no particular order:
a) to spite the Druchii
b) it might be a good path to get Vardanis a familiar
c) it's important to Vardanis personally, and has been an ongoing plot since before he came back to Chrace from Saphery
d) it soothes our Focus
e) it just seems like an action that's both interesting and good to do
Bits and bobs get you crafting material that can be used for personal work or commissions and possibly something like Arming the Long March.

We made a Tier 3 for the Phoenix King without Bits and Bobs. At a guess it's more of a way of finding cool one-use materials we can use to supercharge a particular item when crafting. It could be useful for the Loremaster Blade, but it'll by no means be necessary.

Making a poem is operating on a very different everything than a more solidly material thing, to be very clear.

This is a good point I hadn't considered. New plan:

[] Plan Preparing to make a sword for killing Druchii
-[] Bits and Bobs 2AP
-[] The Art of Two 3AP

[] Combining Winds and Exploring the Heavens
-[] The Art of Two: AP 3
-[] The Metaphor, the Mystic: 2 AP Azyr
[] You speak to Tethia about, well, many things, even as you do your work.

People have been wanting to complete Art of Two to give Vardanis access to using multiple Winds as an immediate buff for him, and gaining a more complete understanding of Azyr will be good and possibly proc Sky Seeker.

I'm going to be asleep when the vote opens, but I'll probably go with the below:
[] Plan Melding Magic
-[] Art of Two 3AP
-[] Bits and Bobs 1AP
-[] Art of the Blade 1AP

Then next turn we can complete AotB with 3AP spare. I don't like putting Cure off for another turn, but I'll live.

[] Plan Second Heaven
-[] The Art of Two - 3 AP
-[] The Metaphor, the Mystic - 2 AP
--Azyr

[] Plan High Magic Prospector
-[] The Art of Two - 3 AP
-[] Bits and Bobs - 2 AP

[] Plan Melding Magic
-[] Art of Two 3AP
-[] Bits and Bobs 1AP
-[] Art of the Blade 1AP

I could get behind any of these three plans, though my personal favourite is Plan Second Heaven because I see the two actions working well together.

who knows? Tethia might be able to give us some useful advice concerning the Kurnous guy from the iron dudes. Plus, it tickles my DER (Disfunctional Elven Romance) senses :p.

If we put at least one AP into it I have faith we'll finish it decently soon...if we don't I'm a bit less sanguine about that.

Not really. Coz the general consensus is that we would do as many of either Archmage and Loremaster actions as possible. So I, and most others, do agree that we won't or shouldn't do Archmage 2 before completing Loremaster 1, at least. So if people want to do Archmage 2, they would have to first complete Loremaster 1 to get the thread to agree to their plan.

So yeah, I don't really see a long delay there. We would most prolly be done with Art of Blade by Turn 7.
