Breaking Generations a.k.a. My Captain Can't Be This Powerful [Pokémon AU]

[x] Spinarak [2 Fate Points]
[x] Venipede [7 Fate Points]

I will also vote for Venipede because it's evolve into a powerful Pokemon and will be hard to get in Johto-Kanto.

In the update, Aya claims that the Psychic/Fairy typing is unique to Mr. Mime, even though in actuallity it's shared by the the ralts line. That means as far as I can tell there's three options:
1) All the ralts died. (Probably not the case and I honestly didn't expect anyone to take it serious, so I'm now kind of tempted to make up some fake lore.)
2) There's some some divide between the regions and Aya only knows pokemon species native to the Kanto/Johto region. (Which would actually be somewhat probable and explains why the base roster only goes up to Gen 2 and why the options form other regions cost more Fate Points.)
3) The author just forgot. (Which is kind of killing them all by accident and thus kinda sorta a genocide from the meta-perspective.)

I choose Venipede because Bug/Poison have only 2 "strong" pokemons, Scolipede and Drapion and the two of them are very hard to get, when we can probably get in the future Drapion because it's from Sinnoh, Scolipede is from Unys which is the opposite from Kanto-Johto.
Why I don't choose Bulbasaur ? I mean it's a very rare pokemon, it have many good others "common" pokemons with this affinity in Johto-Kanto, but theses pokemons have more or less the same role in a team which is to be a tank (and retaliate with good damage), also nobody with this affinity can fly.

The non-fate point ones have unique type combos. The fate point ones have very common type combos.

Interesting write in options, grouped by type combo:
Alolan Grimer or Stunky (dark overlaps with teammate)
Salandit
Croagunk
Mareanie or Tentacool

Bulbasaur is probably the best option, but I'm not sure how valuable Fate Points are, so I'll just go with personal preference.

I really want to vote for Venipede as well, but with approval voting off the table I gotta go with my favorite starter.

It's a combination of unreliable narrator, and not intending Gen 3+ pokemon to be accessible except Fate Points are a thing.

Primary
Secondary
Affinity
D
C
E
Sniper
Shuriken
Poison
Suriken is not the primary skill even if she have a better grade on it ?

Edit: It most likely mean primary and secondary weapon so we can be a research and destruction team because everyone on the team(except maybe captain) have it.

Grass/poison have some common types in earlier gens, which probably correspond to bettter odds of getting them without spending fate points.

Also it's just dope.

I certainly wouldn't be upset if best ghost wins though.
