newbie asks who to vote for take a shot
Essentially, in my experience the d1 chance of actually getting a maf on the yeet is not really appreciably above shooting randomly unless maf misplays pretty seriously, so actually getting maf immediately is not usually the primary goal today imo. Instead, we spend the day feeling the other players out, asking around and poking people, and generate interesting and potentially revealing content that can be reexamined later when new evidence arrives. Then at the end of the day, we vote out someone who seems sus enough and who has formed connections with other players through day play that may reveal things about those other players regardless of if the d1 yeet is town or scum. Does that make sense?
In practical terms: derp around, poke people, vote someone if you want to get them talking, unvote them when you think they've said enough for now, actually yeet someone whose death you think will give interesting info.
