Can you be less general? Assume for the moment that we didn't care about hiding it due to Hubris. Is it on the order of 200? 2000? 20,000? I'm asking because people seem to want super weapons. Knowing how much it will cost for one will determine how hard to push for economic development VS other tasks.
Not really you need to take an action to check it out, but it wouldn't be as high 2000. You are operating on a budget of under two hundred right now. But you can guess based on what other projects you have done before. It would be cheaper than the original for several reasons though. Some of the facilities are still usable, the technology has improved, and the problems with building the original already were figured out.

[X]Plan: Political Games - Internal
-Hoffnung Industrial Engineering reconstruction work 177/200 CP Must complete by end of 2021 (1 turn
-Aurelia/Leasath Hoffnung Industrial Engineering reconstruction work 0/100 CP Must be completed by the end of 2023 (5 Turns)
-Influence State (Covertly) Supporting the Doves in Osea - Try to dig up any dirt on the Hawks and make sure it gets into the hands of the media. Be more concerned with making sure nothing is tied back to us then maximizing effectiveness. A Dove president would be good, but not at the cost of drawing attention to Belka for meddling in an election.
-Economic Development (Increasing available EP) Mid Term Path

Could we build a defensive supper weapon rather than a offensive one. Having something that defends your heartland while your army is away invading someone is quite usefu. And if other countries complain we say it's defensive stop crying.

Lads slow and steady buildup is key because those Osean bastards will automatically kill us if they even suspect we're trying to build up our military. But one day W E S H A L L R E A C H S A L V A T I O N! And burn Osea to the ground and salt their land even harder than Romans to Carthage.

Excalibur is a a defensive weapon. Also you can build anything you want or research anything you want. Some things are just more likely to get Osea and Yuktobania to kick Belka's head in.

Certain weapons and weapon types are more dangerous especially when upscaled. But on smaller scales they wouldn't really be an issue beyond arbitrarily being "more expensive".

now that i think about it could we get industrial mega projects, scientific mega projects added to the options list? At the end of the day ACE combat is about war but those wars usually incorporate a mega project like the arch bird or stone henge.

That requires a research action for both. It takes time and money to develop superweapons.

-International -> Military Deal -> Sell Military equipment to Gebet, Recta, & Ustio for upgrades/expansion.

I'll correct that on the plan in some morning. I don't think it's really going to affect the voting, the meaning of the action is pretty clear.
It doesn't but I have changed what each of those do.

Military deals are things like training exercises, military equipment, mercenary services, military technology trade (things that are only usable for weapons or mostly for weapons), basing rights, military movement agreements, and military alliances.

Economic deals are things like investments, trade deals, joint projects which can turn into either military or civilian type projects, reconstruction efforts, and economic aid.

Updated the plan in my post, just to make sure no one gets confused. I know I'd be wondering if a plan was different between the votes and the place it had been first posted.

South Belka is fully Belkan, Recta and Gebet have a very large population of Belkans, and Ustio has a decent population of Belkans. War is not the only way to reclaim lost areas.

Indeed! I am looking forward to using the New Belkan methods to tie their nations closer to our interests and eventually bring the lost lambs back into the fold. I am currently writing about vaguely similar things being done in my Star Wars game (next turn is almost done!)

Once we get on good terms with our neighbours all we will have to do it wait for some fool to start a war with one of them and come in like heroes. The actions in the previous thread are a good series of steps in rehabilitating Belka's image and the rebuilding actions we currently have going on will work towards that as well.

Building up the economy is going to be important, which is why I voted for the economic development plan. Depending on the budget I'm thinking that we can attempt the deals to sell military gear next turn. Of course if my other plan wins we just flip the order of operations there.

If we want to use war to reclaim them, selling them arms is an... interesting choice. :) So if you do want to use military force be sure to vote against any plans that involve selling weapons to our neighbours. You'll probably also need to write some pretty compelling arguments to convince people but I would certainly be interested in examining them.

In other news @Adventwolf what are your thoughts on this video? It has been shaping some of my thinking but I don't want to assume about your interpretation of the setting.

Recovering South Belka is going to be a very long term goal, given that it is currently under the control of Osea, a nation that still has a strong military force, a good amount of aces and quite a few allies, things which make it dangerous to attempt to reclaim South Belka/North Osea in any overt and violent ways.
