That loot looks awesome!

I'm definitely up for us taking the gauntlet.

As for Redman's Regalia, I hope we can find some way to purify it.

Well that reaction with his warriors was certainly weird.

Maybe some daemon or mage sacrificed King Obari's honorguard to lend their life to Unke?
At the same time the sacrificed men were raised to Unke's will.

Sounds like a vaguely possible ritual?

On the loot, I'd say take it. Esha says it won't harm us, at least in the short term, and I trust her.

I sat we take everything for this battle, then speak with whoever we need later to purify it.

A full plate is something that does not even exist normally in this world

I don't trust the armor right now, even if Esha says it is safe. The armor itself could be safe, but it could also serve as a conduit for Daemonic shenanigans which she cannot perceive.

Hopefully it can be purified in the near future.

[X] Claim both the Regalia and the Bronze Breaker, but use neither at this time.
-[X] If battle is joined once more, we will rely on Inge or Esha's Mage Armor spells until we can repair our own armor or retrieve a chain shirt from Marcella.

[X] Stand firm

On the armor, I trust Esha.

On the negotiations, we came here as liberators with the rightful queen and we have to play to that image, because a foreign invader might stand before thag palace-fortress until they starve and not win an inch of ground.

I say claim and use both. They are spoils of war rightfully won, and should be a morale breaker besides. If having a figure of legend return from the dead filled them with courage, seeing the invader in his regalia should have the opposite effect.

Edit: Another thing to consider is the worship of the War God on this island, and more specifically the enshrined right of conquest. It could give serious legitimacy to Aina for Roland to be present supporting her in the Redman's Regalia as a powerful symbol of her right to rule.

Yeah, no time for caution now. We might need to break a door soon.

Also I am feeling a Sunder build coming with that awesome gauntlet

@Goldfish
Now that he seems safely dead, Unke was an Iron Tyrant Antipaladin.

Not much magic and his only special trick was with Sundering, aside from that he was just some very tanky bastard with high armor, decent HP and charisma-boosted saves.

Esit: Though he could put out decent damage with Smite, but not nearly as much as Ziku, or Roland on a crit-spree.

I also do not trust this armor.
*Remebering very convinient demon blade from ASWAH*

That's a good chassis for him, and now that I know the stats on his gauntlet, I can see how he pulled off some of that stuff when paired with a Sunder build.

Using this gauntlet means that we should take Powerful Maneuvers eventually. It will save our life at some point.

Also that defensive sunder feat would work wonders against anyone attacking us.

I'm really digging the Sunder build with that gauntlet

It does have one disadvantage though, it might well destroy your loot. As long as you do not have make whole you cannot magically repair destroyed mundane items and as for magical items once they are proper broken you would have to find some way to re-enchant them, if it can even be done.

Edit: Faceless'd

Having the gauntlet and eventually picking up Powerful Maneuvers makes Sundering a viable tactic in some situations, but it's not something I want us to build Roland around. Anything is possible given time and bonus feats, of course, though I would place priority on a lot of other feats before Sunder-based ones seem worthwhile.

Just to confirm, we're going to claim both and use the Regalia for now, right? I know my write-in not to use it had the most overall votes, but there were more in various formats that supported using it.
