[X] You will honour Armageddon's defenders, and their wargear shall serve once more in her defence. You will agree to Talamacchius' proposal.
So I'm new here and just a question, why are Scouts becoming Scout Sergeantw? Shouldn't that role be filled by experienced Space Marines?
N'varr estimated as follows:Dunno if anything has asked yet but what gear could we recover?
But N'Varr is not a Techmarine, and also not the kind of man who'd tell Talamacchius to wait while he tallies exactly what he'll be getting in the deal on a spreadsheet before saying yes or no.You'd seen Corvus-pattern power armour, various weapons and vehicles, even several suits of Terminator Armour. You couldn't say for sure how much of it could be repaired until the Techmarines had taken a thorough look at it, but you could tell a decent chunk would be. Astartes wargear was built to last.
There is nobody more experienced available, the Steel Dragons were only founded just a couple of years ago.So I'm new here and just a question, why are Scouts becoming Scout Sergeantw? Shouldn't that role be filled by experienced Space Marines?
Rehauling the water treatment system on a planetary scale would be a pretty massive project. Doable, but it would require a lot of effort on your part, or big favors with the Mechanicus/Administratum.In the meantime, anyone have any bright ideas for how we might secure the water pumping network? Maybe we can burn a set of favors from the techpriests or use our forges for a really good desalinization/treatment plant that can handle the nasty oceans? There's always just reinforcing the network with PDF guardposts and such, but that's also stretching our forces thinner.
Fair enough. It still seems like a decent idea for a long-term investment in the planet's health, since the current system is pretty flawed. Of course, I suppose water treatment plants would be a different form of vulnerability - one that might be easier to secure than thousands of miles of pipe, though. 🤔Rehauling the water treatment system on a planetary scale would be a pretty massive project. Another option would be to look into trying to mitigate the pollution issue, since that's what's causing the water shortage.Fair enough. He's wounded but he'll live, and there'll be an option to repair his Dreadnought chassis next turn. As for him staying, this was discussed last page and it's generally considered really poor form to outright ask "orphaned" marines to join you. It's a possibility, but trying to push him into that decision will very likely backfire.@Blackout How badly damaged or injured is Talamacchius? Is there any chance we could persuade him that, once he's escorted the relics to Deliverance, he can come back to Armageddon and fight alongside us, the last of the Twilight Crows continuing the duty of his brothers?
Ahh, interesting. I was assuming it was natural toxicity. That makes sense. Of course, "eco-friendly" and "hive cities" probably don't go well together.Another option would be to look into trying to mitigate the pollution issue, since that's what's causing the water shortage.
