Can add a second skill to repair and reverse engineering rolls as Enhancement, if it is related to the device in question (I.E, using Pilot to augment a Tech check to repair a VARG.)
**
Striking
She's hot! ...very hot. +2e to all social checks.
**
Favored Mode
She gains +2e to all Transmog rolls, enhancing her ability to transform her body into anything she wills. This can be added as successes to rolls, or can be used to increase her Psi stat for the purposes of range, radius, and duration.

[X] Goddamn it Nihilus... he may be used to working alone, but you don't let important alien operatives run off alone in an active warzone. Follow him!

Safety in numbers. Also, at the risk of trying to meta-game, fuck Nihilus dying on our first mission together.

[X] Head for the nearest dome. Looks like the habitats. There will be a tram to the dig site, maybe survivors.
[X] Take the western route and see if you can't find anyone in the Legion fort that's built to cover the western edge of the colony. It looks pretty wrecked, but you might get lucky.

[X] Make straight for the dig site - maximum speed. Literally, you have biokinetics, everyone should be going cheetah fast.

I actually do want to cheetah speedrun this.

My worry with this is I don't want to tire them out. No point in getting to the fight if you're too tired to fight.
If we are using biotics to enhance stats, we can enhance the whole team through the link of the telepath. If we are enhancing stats, we are able to bump up stamina so getting tired isn't a concern. If we are doing a bit of shapeshifting to push movement speeds up, then we would be increasing the base movement speed which doesn't increase the rate of exhaustion beyond our current rate.

Which uses up our "psi node thingamabob points" yes?

You're right, I get the terms messed up in every post I mention Psionics because of how close Biokinetic and Biotic are in my brain.

We have Psi powers, we have used 4 of our 10 Psi Points to shrink the mech to bring it with us. Psi Powers, Gear, and Skills/Stats can all be found in the character sheet spoilers at the top of every page.

So how many more will "faster than a cheatah" cost us? Will we even have anything left for the combat while bomb defusing plus whatever curve balls DC will send our way?

3 points!

The costs are listed in the table, I wrote them down and everything!
Adapt and Metabolic control together?

So that's 7 spent for the transit just to get to the fight. And 3 left to fight the various husks, Gets, Aberrant\Aquatic\Nova\Neutral Husks, possibly Saren AND disarm the bombs under heavy fire with our main bio abilities runnin' so low he gotta make it count. Which will likely be used up untransforming the Mako VARG so we can't do anything other than basic stats? No. Even if undoing the shrinking doesn't cost anything that's still 3 points (all we got to play) gone in a single move. This is why I wanted it air dropped. This is why I don't want the cheatah power. We got a big fight coming up, with risky minions to deal with, and can't be frivolous with it just because it's there to be used.
Y'all wanna be badass? Be badass where it counts. And that's where ever there are enemies to whimper, not before they are even lined up in the scope.

Meh. I never really liked her anyway; if it wasn't for my RP urge demanding that I do the logical thing and send the combat engineer to set the bomb, and then rescue an entire squad over one individual, she'd be the one to pop the canned sunshine on Virmire, not my bro Kaidan.

I meant more here than canon. Personally I'd save both if I could but yeah, hard choice? Go with Ashley dieing if I must. But that's largely because bI am made to choose. Kaiden can be called vanilla. And to a degree I see that. But I do see him a good and interesting and he's a much better bro than Ashley. She's good yes but it takes time to build up that rapport. And she's always quick to burn bridges well after ME2, where as Kaiden is willing to stay civil and keep the door open in the end even in ME2 where he feels the most hurt and betrayed. Jacob is like a knock off Kaiden. I don't like relationships where I gotta put in the majority of the work only to get burned if I am not always carefully saying the right things. Seriously canon Ashley! Let your heart grow 3 sizes this day!

So what now? Sudden Death Vote?

CHAPTER ONE: Bullseye (0.4)
"Goddamn it," you whisper under your breath, your own helmet blowing the air back gently against you. Okay, everyone on me.

You started forward with the steady, loping pace of someone who was trained to move and fight in variable gravity. Bullseye wasn't earthlike - and that'd be a problem for a few minutes, but once you were within range of the domes and their gravity nets, you would be okay. That meant for now, the main goal was covering distance while not making yourself an obvious target. The shifting colors of your adaptive camo made you a shimmering, flickering shadow as you darted from minimal cover to minimal cover - keeping pace with Nihilus as he loped towards the spaceport.

What are you-

We're not about to split up,
you cut him off, turning Nihilus' thoughts into a buzzing static in the background of Kaiden's network.

The four of you reached the edge of the starport at about the same time Nihilus having slowed slightly by your unexpected following. The spaceport itself was a rectangular structure that had been placed to the side of one of the major habitation domes - the dome itself was a sleek, biotech structure that looked more grown than built. The tendrils that sank into the surrounding dirt and soil were broad and fanned outwards again and again and again and again, bifurcating each time until they had become as diffuse and thin as angel hair. You knew from the specs that the dome was essentially a bigger, stupider version of Normandy's guts, tricked into being transparent by the biotechs in Orgotek and the Sirta Foundation - so those tendrils were really roots, trying to draw what nutrients they could from the lifeless world around them.

Or.

Mostly lifeless.

It looks like the dome's been breached... Nihilus thought, pulling a silvery orb that vanished the instant it was in his three fingered palm. He tossed it with an expert flick of his wrist and you saw a blur of motion - but then lost track of it. Nothing but bodies in there. No movement.

What about that, sir?
Kaiden asked, painting something on each of your HUDs with a tightbeam pulse. It took an embarrassingly large amount of training to get people to stop pointing, even with adaptive camo, and you knew veteran Legionaries who still fucked it up. All of you turned your heads, peeking, and saw that the spaceport had movement. They were sleek, humanoid figures...gray at this distance, with curved heads that looked almost like helmets. Their limbs were oddly articulated and they were working in tandem, six of them dragging something heavy out of the dome ruins and to the spaceport itself, while four others flanked around them.

You frowned. I don't recognize that species, you thought, zooming your HUD in using your tactical scope. The looked oddly organic - but also, not. Their muscles had the look of synthetic cable, twined and bunched, flexing and moving.

I do, Nihilus thought. They're Geth.

Geth?
Kaiden asked.

Nihilus nodded, then turned to look at the three of you, even if it was a bit of a wasted gesture, considering how each of you were nearly invisible in the dim light and shifting shadows that were cast by the Geth and their lights. They were...are...a species of rogue synthetics, created by the Quarians - a non-council species. They turned on their creators and the Quarians have been fleeing from them ever since. But the Geth mostly stay beyond the Perseus Veil - they haven't been seen in the Terminus systems for two centuries. He shook his head.

Quarians... Private Rolston thought. Why are they so familiar?

Oh shit,
you thought. I know where I've heard of them before. They-

The air beside the device the Geth were dragging rippled, twisted, and puckered open as if it was being torn apart from within. The purple light that shone from the tear was entirely sickly, and stepping from it came a figure that you didn't recognize - but you didn't have to. The woman had purple skin, six eyes, and four arachnoid limbs that jutted from a back that seemed to have burst apart like the skin was peeling and the bones were fracturing. Her lower jaws were a spider's mandible, and she walked about in Bullseye's thin atmosphere without a spacesuit. Or clothes, actually. The rift behind her snapped shut and she turned to face the thing that the Geth were setting down, and began to adjust and manipulate it.

Well, this just got more complicated, Nihilus thought.

You pulled the kitten that wasn't a kitten out of your pocket, hooking your IAD to its belly. Your Mako's abberscope was still active and by angling the kittens face around the corner of your cover, you could see the woman on the HUD. She glowed with the faint edge of a Divergent class.

So.

She wasn't the paltry sub-aberrant goons that had made up the majority of the bastards you'd fought on Khantz Lu Ge - she was one of the middle tier of the Aberrants. Probably a recent mutant, who had only been inducted into the dubious honor of having quantum powers within the past few years at most, few months at minimum. Back on KLG, your buddies had called Divergents 'Slots' - because you never knew. Were you gonna pull the arm and get the jackpot of a superintelligent squishy who's main power was in logistic support shit like turning air into laser rifles for the sub-aberrant shock troops? Or were you going to get fucked over and run into a Divergent who had erupted with superstrength, flight, laser eye vision, and a fucking cape to go with it all.

Too many of your buddies had pulled the slot...and died bleeding out with their VARG's ripped to pieces by claws, or glowing blades of pure force, or beams of light fired from eyes or tentacles or palms, or...in one horrible case, disembowled by sentient, living candy.

You pushed all those thoughts out of your head and focused on what the Divergent was doing.

Looks like some kind of Quantum Tech, Kaiden says.

I'm not seeing any gadgets I recognize, Rolston added.

In my experience, it's all bad news if it turns on, you and Nihilus thought at the exact same time. You and he exchanged a glance and through visor, shimmering adaptive camouflage, and across species lines, you swore you could tell that he was blushing.

The Divergent was not working with the blurring super-speed of some Aberrants. So, at least she didn't have super-speed!

...or she was just being lazy...

What do you do?
[ ] Aberrants don't work with lesser beings without a reason. Lets wait and see why this one is teaming up with a Geth - gather intelligence before we start shooting.
[ ] Kaiden, whammy her with a telepathic compulsion to not warp away, we'll open fire and take them down, textbook style with the VARG on standby if she has nastier powers than just brains and warping.

Leaving the Aberrant alive seems a bad idea, so:

[X] You know what we need right now? A time on target smart-programmed long ranged thermobaric warhead tipped missile. You know what my VARG has? A time on target smart-programmed long ranged thermobaric warhead tipped missile!

Unless anyone else has a clever write-in.

So :

Preserving some resources.

I have been debating how far into "nuke it from orbit" but a mental lockdown with opening fire seems like the proper start to this. Checked with the QM and it won't take Psi Points to unfold our mech from being a cat if we need it- and with the telepathic link we are not only providing passive buffs to Kaiden but also can expend Psi Points to heal or reduce damage if we are biting off too much to deal with with just small arms and whatever biotics Nihilus can bring to bear.
