Look I'm going to make my pitch for this, if we take this we can flavor the magic to Music as Magic.

It is the age of high art. In factories the pounding percussion of metal forges plow and sword. In the composition halls new agricultural growth songs are written, to replace the outdated folk-song of old. It is a age of wonders; the arts of Jazz have raised Art-Deco cities for most, though high above the music of the sphere's keeps aloft the floating mansions of the rich, where violent call forth clothes of gold and silk.

Music, and it's older cousins, song and dance, reigns supreme, shaping the world through their power.

This Golden Age will be one of rock and metal, jazz and blues, orthodox creation and avant garde.
