It'd be nice to get a head-start on our quests and Ron gets the short end of things far too often. Social action aboard the train should make up for the lack of interaction with peers. Assuming that Ginny ends up in Ravenclaw and Luna gets bullied, we'll be able to engage with her later as a protector.
 
um why do we have Misanthrope? the plan that won doesn't have that trait

Fixed. Not sure exactly how that mistake happened; probably slipped in while I was switching between tabs. Apologies about that.

This is intentional. Keeping and Beating were at T (Troll); the drop in Flying reduced all of the sub-skills down by a level, and that meant the sub-skills at T (Troll) became non-skills. The traits have been fixed and re-updated.

Spells and magical skills aren't "learn it and be done with it" here. You'll have to practice and train with magic even after it's learned or your skills will be at risk of downgrading/declining. While at Hogwarts, your classes will provide a level of cushion against your skills regressing, but failing to spend time on (for instance) Ancient Runes or Flying could see those skills declining. When enough time has passed without the skills being used or practiced, there will be rolls made against a QM-chosen Regression DC. Does that make sense?
