I do... multiple times.

It's why I'm working on a few... interesting mechanics to discern how famous we become in history, but it's not finished yet.
If You are looking for mechanics on how famous we become in history maybe make a roll for our critics to distort or support our intentions after we are dead

It's not finished but the Reputation gain is... but I won't post it until it's finshed.

-[X] Kyiv, Ukraine: Once known as the capital of the Kieven Rus and one of the largest cities in Europe, the city of Kyiv has fallen on hard times after multiple invasions from both the east and the west. Twelve years prior, the city was sacked and burned by the Crimean Tatars, leaving much of it in ruins, from which it has yet to recover. (You are Born in Kyiv.)

Not sure if this is far enough west, but it's what I had in my head. The other idea was somewhere in Germany.

I really hope you like some of the special traits I've prepared.

They are really good.

How the World will view you:

Unlike La Chanson, where you have a reputation based entirely on the reputation of a general, where we, the character are set, and the history and how history views you is something that will be brought up in a different, more trackable way.

I call it:

The Legacy Points.

Legacy points are how much history knows about you, your exploits, and your effect on history.

The thing is, being a low-born, uneducated, or otherwise unknown in history, you will have an uphill battle to claim such a legacy.

You can do so by just living, breeding, and having a family, but that will only give you a very minor legacy score. and while you may gain that, its not enough.

How you get into history, is by shaping it.

There are many ways you can do that.

War, Politics, religion, science, etc, can all contribute to your legacy score.

Every time you commit to an adventure, do something insane, or just get mentioned by historical figures and are written down about, you gain them.

And well...

There are more ways to gain it. But I will leave that for you to figure out.

Connections can be made even in the lowest dregs in society... step by step we rise like Mercury!
Yeah.

Oh and I should have said this earlier, this is a quest that is very hard.

At least the Early game, when you have no life experience, no help and no stats.

The Grind, as they say, is real.

And I can't wait.
