[Exalted] The Last Daughter -- Dragon-Blooded Sorcery School Quest

Hmmm, initial impressions is the Simendor/Tepet combo has fun quirky shounen energy, while the Erona/V'neef combo would have fun intrigue and politics?

Decisions decisions...

While we're mulling this over, it is once again time to play a round of "which of the NPCs listed here is based on a PC Gaz has actually played"? Your prize for guessing right is the satisfaction of being correct. I think it's a bit harder to guess, compared to the other topic I've asked this for.

Is there only one answer? Or are there multiple characters?

Alright, I'll go for this one because L'nessa seems cool and her calling us aunt would be funny. And it seems like it could be a fun intrigue-y option combined with Maia's mysterious troublemakeriness. The Deiza/Sola option would also be cool though.

[X] Erona Maia (Water Aspect)
[X] V'neef L'nessa (Wood Aspect)

V'neef's naming scheme is still weird, but I think this combination could be quite interesting, three types of dynasts on shaky ground

Edit: changed to a more popular combo

Y'know... this point I'm about as curious as the others for what exactly went on between our dad and Big Red.

[x] Simendor Deiza (Earth Aspect)
[x] Tepet Usula Sola (Air Aspect)

Heroine from a romance novel, how could I not vote that? Also with our worry over our sorcery a more experienced Earth sorcerer who can take our desperate hand and lead us down forbidden paths of magic sounds perfect.

Quiet people capable of surprise war crimes are always interesting, and V'neef is pretty cool too. She's also very friendly!

You've imagined this day for two years, ever since Pasiap Chose you, when you first began to imagine yourself living up to your mother's high expectations.
Huh, between having a foreign dragon-blooded as a lover, high status, and sharp expectations for us, our mom sounds like an interesting character in the Realm. I wonder if she'll get more screen time.

Most students might be able to afford to take several years to become a true sorcerer, but most students aren't the youngest Exalted daughter of the Scarlet Empress. You will have a busy year.

Oh.

Well then.

The Empress has more than enough ways to influence her descendants without them, and if she really wanted to personally mess with Ambraea's life in particular, trust me when I say that it would not be hard.
I guess she DOES, huh!?!

How are the votes counted? Because depending on how you read it either Erona & V'neef are in the lead with 7 votes or Erona & Tepet are in the lead with 11 and 10 votes individually.

The roommates are counted together, because you're voting for a group dynamic here, first and foremost. If there were a very big discrepancy (like, if, somehow, the votes for one character were an overwhelming majority but they were spread out so much that it became glaring) then I'd revisit that decision, but the difference in number of votes between total for L'nessa and total for Sola is only like, two.

What if the discrepency between the most voted for pair was smaller than the discrepancy between the most voted for individual? Like if Sola had more votes ahead L'nessa than the pair of Maia & L'nessa had over the Pair of Maia and Sola?

I'm really only looking at most votes tallied by task, and then checking it against most votes tallied by line to make sure the popular vote on individual characters is not completely at odds with which pair is winning. It's honestly pretty hard for that to be the case, with only nine possible combinations here, but I wanted to be sure. As is, Sola only has like... two more votes total than L'nessa spread out over more combinations, which isn't really an uncomfortably large margin for me.
