I don't suppose it would be possible to purify, rip out the Grav-Culverins, and put them on the Tachyon's Demise, would it?
You can do that! You basically have a free prow slot now!

Right, a free prow slot on the Colossus, because that's the one that lost a Nova Cannon. That, I was thinking of replacing with the Titanforge Lance battery on this station. Not quite as potent, but a good complimenting feature to the launch bays.

Right, but my original question stands; does this port have the facilities to refit the Tachyon's Demise so we can upgrade from the current Mars-pattern Macrocannon broadsides to Grav-Culverins?One nice thing about the lances is that on a cruiser, lances can fire to port and starbaord rather than just to the fore, which makes them much easier to use.

A Good Navy Dad"No, Junie," he says. "A boarding action isn't any place for an officer as young as you." Then he grins. "But...since by the time the repairs are done, you will no longer be under punishment detail...how about this." He clasps his hands, leaning forward. "We'll need someone to oversee the other prizes and ensure that the monitors are dealt with once they strike. Say you stay in the see-eye-see of the Colossus and make sure that all goes well?"
Junie's eyes practically bug out of her head and she beams, sitting up and nodding hurriedly so much that you can't help but giggle.
FUCKYou spared a glance...and saw, to your horror, that the entire prow of the Colossus was smoldering, ringed with twin concentric spheres of force, rippling out and away. The ship heeled - and then the shields rippled and detonations began to flare along her sides. Without her being able to be secured, the monitors - moving faster than you had expected - were hemming her in and taking advantage of the fact they could fire on her without threatening their station.
Wow. Tine getting a BAMF af "kneel, or you will be knelt" moment. You love to see it."My name is Amaranthine Scourge, of House Scourge...and this station is now mine by Imperial right. You may take your knees while you breathe, or you may take your knees without your head, scum."
PHEW"Mom...what the heck do I do with this sword? The...captain gave it to me after his men surrendered." Junie sounds faintly exasperated. "Do I just have to keep this piece of shit sword?"
Holy fuck the Colossus took a beating.
Sometimes it be like that.
I object. I really don't want to spend weeks/months/years hanging out in this system waiting for someone, friend or foe, to come through the warp.-[X] As the above, but we don't just repair and heal. While we're doing that, we leverage the full might and resources of the Scourge dynasty to bring in reinforcements and gear up (triggers separate vote for what to buy/hire).
I thought we also had some kind of ground structure we can drop from orbit that boosts our efforts for ground-based military objectives, but I can't find it anywhere in the Fleet informational so maybe I only dreamed it.
Best Quality Jovian Pattern Hab Base: A deployable barracks (40 people), comissary, medicae facility, command and communication hub complete with vox and auspex arrays, two storage sheds, a generatoria, and a prefab landing pad. Furthermore, this upgraded variation comes with a deployable bulwark with bunkers and heavy stubber turrets, with an adjacent labratoria for field survey and research.
Actually, DC... is this fortress/dock well enough equipped that you would allow making Acquisition tests right here?
A Teleportarium covers many sins when it comes to a lack of subtlety. Also, I reckon that liberation will be a much simpler process if the groundside commanders are dead and their subordinates are all busy filling the power vacuum before we start. My concerns regarding sneaking in are that, well, are any of our characters actually GOOD at sneaking? Also, I honestly don't want to leave here without liberating ALL the slaves. ALL. THE. SLAVES.
That... is good information.also, as a reminder, this is Karrad Vall's base and you've had a real close run with just the defenses. His main wolfpack, if gathered and organized, outnumbers and outweighs you.
Hmm. Alright, consider me persuaded. It'll be a nice change of pace narratively too, I expect. Not that what's happened so far hasn't been CONSISTENTLY AWESOME, because it has. Just, y'know, switching things up a little can be refreshing.A Teleportarium covers many sins when it comes to a lack of subtlety. Someone with better 40k chops check my logic please:
Alphas should work better for our team because of the possibles we get handed to us they're the ones most likely to be running six different ops nobody else knows about except on alternating Tuesdays, and thus don't need to be especially consistent, or in line with whatever else is going on.
I feel like there is a flaw in trying to look like chaos space marines, in that we are not astartes sized and neither is our armor.
Actually, you are of the same size. Space Marines are hulking, you're Hulking! Furthermore, 99% of all humanity hasn't even seen a Space Marine except in artwork.
Which Segmentum are we in? Because if it's Pacificus, our best bet might be to decorate things to look like Blood Pact Goremages. Aka probably the scariest humans to face in combat because they are Khorne-aligned battle-Psykers. And nobody messes with the Blood Pact, because they have the ferocity and bloodthirstyness of any Khornate warband, and the discipline of a Guard regiment.
