[X] Get to know Inge
-[X] Begin by apologizing to Inge for our deception. Whatever justification we had for it is on us and Antonio as adults and leaders responsible for the well-being of our men, but she argued in good faith and spoke no falsehood. And she is hardly a coward, as evidenced by her defense of us when we confronted the corrupted Ilfa, or when she so readily offered a blood oath to the Stout Folk.

[] Spend time with Jon Lorson, these may yet be his last days and you are the closest thing to kin he has on this ship
Isn't he getting better though? Seems a weird action option to have, like we are under the impression he will die.

Don't want Inge to feel bad for our decision.

[X] Asking Inge
-[X] What are possible dangers of and bad ends to the ritual? Is there any way to reduce risks? Any way to help you?

I'm nervous about the possible consequences, but we should have all the information before deciding.

Whoops, totally missed the last vote. This should do double duty in preparing us for the next leg of our journey and spending time with the best two characters (sans Ripper).

Yeah negotiating is probably gonna bite us in the ass further now. I doubt this will really work and Inge is probably gonna suffer a ton of negative effects considering how magical oaths typically work.

The blood oath she swore was only related to her swearing she had nothing to do with the magic affecting the ship. There shouldn't be any magical repercussions for us ignoring the canoe people. And Antonio only lied under a Zone of Truth effect. That's not the same as breaking a magical oath.

EDIT: Damnit, Skynet keeps changing oath to path (it just did it again!). I think it's trying to tell me to walk the path of blood, but I much prefer steel and fire, or magic.

Well, Inge did not break any vow, she just translated.
Also I agree with the good captain, oaths under duress are worth as much as the steel that enforces them

One thing you guys might want to consider is that without any knowledge of the language, you are always going to be reacting late. Low level pathfinder may not have the same nuke tag feeling as high levels, but who has the initiative matters and if you do not know what is being said it is going to be that much harder to be you.

On a more peaceful note no language means no diplomacy with the locals using your best skill bar none

Good night guys, see you tomorrow as (encounters allowing) we make port and start interacting with the locals and deciding where we go from here

Don't forget to vote though, all options listed can be quite relevant to landfall.

On second thought, I do think we need to increase our language proficiency. DP makes a really good point about Roland's Diplomacy being effectively crippled so long as he cannot communicate with the people of this world. The sooner he can speak semi-fluently, the better. That said, I still think we can apologize to Inge.

Also I will admit to wondering if DP had introduced canoe Dwarfs when he first started describing the Stout Folk.

[X] Goldfish

The boat setting off magical Geiger counters is probably something we should have looked at soon.

If we're lucky we might be able to use the energy for something, but at the very least no longer glowing in the dark will make diplomacy with the local mages easier.
