The Life and Times of Whitley Schnee (A RWBY Adventure AU)

Hey, if Cima wins, we get our equivalent of Scrooge McDuck's Sun Chaser.

... Wait. Does that make Cima our Launchpad? Or would that be Riley, the random ship pilot?

[X]Marcus Black: The most infamous hitman in Mistral. The Bastard had assassinated two councilmen… Three of SDC's competitors on father's orders and is a right cunt above all else… But he had a strange moral code on him that made him one of the most dangerous men you've ever met. He was also a drunk, a murderer, and a man who never broke a contract...who was bringing his son along… and was willing to take all your money to do it. (Cost 80,000 Lien, Also brings Mercury Black)

Alright, I know that this is risky, but Marcus is going to get offed by Mercury soon, and I would like to take one of Salem's minions and make it our ally.

This may also complicate Pyrrah's death, due to the fact that it was his job to find out what her Semblance was.

Remember that Cinder's original goal was to recruit Marcus, not Mercury - her recruitment of Mercury was very much taking the backup option, so stopping Salem from recruiting Mercury won't impair her in the least. Also, remember that Marcus can steal Semblances - what if he decides to steal ours or Weiss' - or even Willow's, if we run into her during the rescue - because it's interesting and powerful?

Warren is a serial killer, end of story, and if word gets out that we hired him it would really impair our future relations with the Faunus, and we'll be tagged the same way as Jacques.

Cima and her crew provide numbers and transport, but pirates need to have fences to sell their goods to and to have information networks to warn them of danger and provide them with opportunities. So I'd rate these guys as the option most likely to sell us out.

Jane is described as a death seeker as well as a former Huntress whose team was wiped out by bandits, so she's not thinking long-term and is extremely unlikely to think long-term enough to sell us out. And if her death-seeker tendencies can't be managed that's a self-correcting problem.

Adam has knowledge of how the White Fang operates, being a former member himself, which should really be advantageous.

I explicitly stated that my expectations for this is that Mercury goes through with killing Marcus and us managing to snatch him before Cinder does.

Magoose has already given us information about this;
THe thing is, he would need to know if we had it. If we don't show it, he dosen't know we have it, and despite wishing for such a thing...

He won't steal from a client, unless he gets betrayed.
He could try, but doing something that violating would be against contract...

Also even his son might say "Fuck you dad!" and fight with you.
Which would accelerate my ideas about attempting to become buds/employers of Mercury.

If we end up becoming buds with Cima, that means we ditch Riley. And I ain't standing for that! We need our Launchpad!!

Nice. Question, assuming we bypass schnee manor security so they can loot, are they more likely to steal the security turrets or Jaques fine liquer?
The Booze. Always the Booze.

One thing I will say about Marcus' Semblance is something I think was a real... missed oppertunity.

Stealing someones semblance is akin to soulrape. And that is something that is extremely terrifying, a thing that would make Whitley be very careful.
Warren is a serial killer, end of story, and if word gets out that we hired him it would really impair our future relations with the Faunus, and we'll be tagged the same way as Jacques.
No Warren is a Psychopath... At best he's Van Pelt or Cecil from the Jungle book.

Indeed. But they are also being paid by you, so that also takes it into account.

Actually, her entire team was killed by Raven. So there is that plotline that needs to be adressed.

But there is also the fact that, if she dies, you are alone on a hostile island.
Adam has knowledge of how the White Fang operates, being a former member himself, which should really be advantageous.
What makes you think he will... kill any of his former comrades.
Which would accelerate my ideas about attempting to become buds/employers of Mercury.
Again, if it is chosen, you can invest actions.

That is cute, very cute.

When Mercury described his father's Semblance to me it made me think of Rogue of the X-Men, and her ability to absorb powers and memories. RWBY makes a big deal of Aura and Semblance being an integral part of the soul, and when Marcus steals someone's Semblance it's in the course of a mission, so they're either fighting for their life against him or trying to flee from him. And then there's the inevitable fear and terror they feel when they die at his hands. All that makes me wonder if Marcus feels those emotions after absorbing Semblamces, which might explain his drinking.

The Booze. Always the Booze.
Great. We can save Weiss, buy there silence with expensive liquer, and help Willow stay clean, and Piss of Jackass. 4 birds one stone.

We should also keep in mind that we are gonna need a hasty exit if we want to avoid being questioned and discovered by the Atlas military or willow. Cima's Airship is the best bet for that.

I hope he doesn't end up stealing Blake or Adams semblances.

That is if we win. And not get captured… or die.

There are other… better options but yeah, Cimas airship might do…

I can't wait to give you your own airship.
I hope he doesn't end up stealing Blake or Adams semblances
If he does, that would mean canon breaking bullshit.

Em... I think that there's something wrong with that tally.

[X]Cima Greenfield and her Crew of the 21: She's an odd case. A Skypirate by Trade, mech pilot formally part of the Mistral Defense Force that just… stole the mech and the airship she now called home, she has a crew in dire need of adventure and fun. That adventure being money, and fun being looting. But she is more… Well principled than the others. Also, that cool ship of hers might be useful. (Cost 75,000 Lien)
Need to set it to the second to last threadmark.

your tallying from the last update i think so it's only votes from after the last minutes of Nicholas Schnee

Changing to this. I just straight up don't want to be near Mercury, even less mini- All For One- er, Marcus Black.

Mirror, Mirror, why does this feels...
Mirror, Mirror, why does this feels...

"Now, stay nice and quiet here while we do our job, Schnee 'Princess', he!"

"We should have killed her, she should pay for her crimes!"

"Sienna's orders. Now shut up, I enjoy this as much as you do."

"What a waste! They should have at least let us blow off some steam on her, I'm sure that she has her Aura unlocked."

"Sienna wants to keep the goods in good quality. It sucks, but it is what is is."

She could hear her kidnappers talking.

She could hear them desiring to kill her, to punish her for her 'crimes', to make her pay for things she didn't do.

She could feel the bindings around her hands.

She could hear them talking about her as some package, some object to be traded, or as some symbol to break.

She could say that this was the worst day of her life up until now.

She had been kidnapped, treated with hate and scorn, with the only reason for her relative safety was due to her usefulness as a tool, a toy, a doll.

...Weiss Schnee was scared, tired and angry.

She was bound, at the will of her captors, with her own guard wanting to grab her and 'make her pay', if not to outright kill her, with her only hope of escape in hands of forces outside her control.

She cried for a while at this whole situation, before one of her guards menaced her to shut up or that he would shut her up.

She hadn't slept since being kidnapped, with her guards purposefully attempting to keep her like that, in order to have some outlet to their desires.

She was angry at those disgusting guards, who hated her only because of her name, and for actions not done by her and outside of her control.

She was angry at the White Fang, who had alrady kidnapped and murdered many of the high-ranked members of the SDC, including some of their sons and daughters, many of which were acquaintances of hers' in the last years.

She was angry at her family, or more specifically, at her parents, who were the sole reason she was in this situation; Her father, who was at fault that the White Fang hated her family, with his cruelty and indifference towards the faunus, and her mother, a drunkward who had abandoned her and her siblings to their fates under the thumb of her father.

...And more than anything, Weiss Schnee was angry at herself.

She hated herself for allowing herself feel fear, she hated herself for allowing her fated to be in the hands of others, she hated herself for allowing herself to be defenseless, she hated herself for allowing herself to be used as a doll.

...She hated how weirdly familiar this situation was for her.

She knew that, from a logic point of view, there was nothing she could do, being taken out by surprise, and without her weapons, but still...

(She clenched her hands into fists, her nails digging into her palms).

She had been training for years, in an attempt to assert her independence from her family, in an attempt to make her own way, in an attempt to escaped from her father's thumb.

And where had all that training been when she was taken captive without even a fight? Where had all those years of effort gone?

She felt ashamed, and now her fate was being decided by others, just like always.

(She could feel her palms bleeding).

...Never again.

She would get out of this, she would recover from this, she would make sure that she would never have to feel like this again, She would make sure to never be a Doll again!.

...But for now, all she could do was wait for someone to save her.

...Just like home.

AN: Well, I got inspired, and here's another omake!
