-[X] That weird shadow girl, what was her name… oh right, Ma Liqiu had stopped by to ask if Quan Jia, not Lady Quan, would be willing to join her at a teahouse. Maybe she wouldn't be so boring after all.

Shadow girl's invitation was an option from Turn 3, so it should expire after Turn 6, but if we take it now we'd have to put off Dai Qiao until Turn 7, an entire month and a half after we first spoke to her, which I'm kinda leery of. I'll make plans for both and let people decide which they prefer, if either.

Yeah this seems good. Hopefully we can do Shadow girl and Shao the week after next, after we do a 4-action pill week.

I don't mind skipping DEJ this week considering the boon we got. We should definitely take that quest action too.

Weird that the classes are staggered tho. It throws the plan off a bit.

--[X] Bring Xiao Lien around the sect and have easily eavesdroppable conversations with her in crowded areas, gushing over her fine clothing and her strength. If she's comfortable with it, try and get her to socialize with other disciples to humanize herself to more people.
--[X] See if Meng Chao wants to join in and spread the good word about Xiao Lien around his own circles.
--[X] See how Shao Cuifen feels about her as well. Having the other two nobles be at least vaguely on your side could be a huge boon.

@dmclain2 Do my quest subvotes look okay or did I put in a bit too much for a single action?

Also, I'm not sure if it was written anywhere, but do we need to write in artifacts when we cultivate or will they be used automatically?

First bit may be a bit out of character... though people do watch sparring matches so...

Asking Meng Chao feels like it would end up a bit like "ask QM" so I'd prefer something more directed in terms of conversation.

just asking for Shao's opinion you can have for free. making plans to organize as a group is something more.
 
Is this better? Also I can't wait to see more of the Lady of Flowing Sands. She seems super cool.

Out of curiosity, what would the original Third Path text have been if we hadn't met her?

it gives me something to work with, so that's good enough. Granted, this is not an indication of whether said actions will work or not.

the exact language i hadn't written. something about a third first step leading to a completely different destination though. it would have indicated the end of that particular part of the art and the start of something different.

In the effort of promoting different types of exploration actions: this (among other things) is something a trip to the library would most likely be able to answer.

edit: nothing like that was ever covered in her cultivation lectures.

To progress Meng Chao's task we'd need to know more about the town. While a semi-directed explore action might yield some information, why not ask the captives maids about the town. Such as why they appeared to be living in the alleyway?
 
@WhoTheHeckity @sleepypanda I replaced the social action with a library explore to find out what exatly is going on with the Dream Lady. Not sure if you guys still wanna go for that tho.

@Alectai I added a library action to my plan if you wanna go for it 👀

@dmclain2 Just wanna make sure the subvote for my library action is okay?
 
Guys we really should do the Xiao Lien quest. The QM said quests are due a month after they're first available. Next week is the last week we can do it and we're already planning on doing a full DEJ cultivation week.

Uh no. Social actions expire after 4 weeks. Quest actions need investiture to complete, but there's no explicit time limit on them.
