Darn it. I thought about reloading to see new messages, but last few weeks my drafts dont seem to be saved properly so I didnt want to mess it up.

QM just said it'd be better as it's own action. We might be able to pull off a double dip, but it's probably just nullify the effects of both instead. We can probably slide that in as a side note in the action. "Hey, one of my former rivals--now possibly dire enemies--seems to really hate your guts, you might want to watch your step in case she pulls something" probably doesn't need a full action.
If you want to address a specific thing like that, the best way to do that is through one of the write in actions.
New non-raggedy clothes are probably a good starting point. It will take some effort to come up with a way to do this without sounding condescending or embarrassed but we should see about getting Xiao teaching in etiquette or politics or high society or similar. Something so that she doesnt give someone an excuse to try and make crazy demands.
Edit: I know its doable since other quests do it but I dont know how.
I'm still debating how mechanical I want their improvement to be, but at the moment, your best bet will be to look for a mentor and train with them.
that's the result at the reward tier you've rolled for exploration. It's probably safe to assume that higher rolls will result in sites being more likely (or guaranteed to be) useful.Secondly, is finding a usable site meant to be this hard? We not only have to roll well enough on explore to find a site, but we then have to roll again to see if it even matches us, which seems like it'd take forever to find a suitable one.
works for me.@dmclain2 Is this ok for a write-in? It suggested a general thrust and alternative action in case the first failed, so that's what I put
Sweet.
If you want to warn Xiao Lien I'd recommend my plan, which has us do so in a qm-approved write-in! Other than that it's exactly the same as yours.Getting Our House In Order is nice but I'd prefer a plan that specifically has us talking to her about the pig's threat.
Not my plan but I do think I prefer your wording. @CedeTheBees wanna jump in on this?you want to warn Xiao Lien I'd recommend my plan, which has us do so in a qm-approved write-in! Other than that it's exactly the same as yours.
I'd rather not. I think it's more helpful to view actions as a proxy for creative writing on my end in situations like that.On that note, could we append the Xiao Lien social to a market exploration action? They both involve going out to buy stuff so it seems like it should be possible.
