Kamino Wellspring of False Life Prologue
Your blade lies in your hand. Unlit for the moment. Around you the droids whirl, seven different patterns weaved together. If you listened to reason, you would be sure you cannot deflect all of them. Especially considering you see nothing. Your eyes are closed behind a blindfold as your teacher demands. You feel his presence too, at the edge of your mind. He is waiting and perhaps he will attack you. Still you cannot concentrate on him alone. This way lies pain. You breathe in, you breathe out, casting your perceptions adrift in space and time. You listened to the currents of the Force, trusting the same instincts who saved you on the podracing tracks. Your thoughts fly through your head and you try to let them pass as clouds. As often it is the consequences of your actions who draw you in. You remember the moment where the Council decided to talk things with Dooku. You remember the moment where it was announced the newly-minted Count of Sereeno's ship was found broken in the orbit of Dathomir. You remember the nervous gazes of the Council. Even Yoda teacher to Dooku don't know if his former student is alive or dead. Your gut says he is alive and scheming. For this after all you are going to the planet he has erased from the Jedi archives.
[Force test: Difficulty: 4: 2+2: Bare Success]
Your thoughts part for the briefest moment but it is enough. Your saber ignites in your hand even as the first blast is fired. It meet the blade of light and scores black in the wall. You bend the knee to avoid a second aimed at your head while bringing your blade closer. You feel the blasts before the droids reach their firing positions but this is hard. No rules this time so you play it safe. You begin the wide arcs of the first form of lightsaber combat, your gestures exaggerated for maximum effects. Some of the blast you deflect but most you avoid, trying to conserve your energy for the true trial at hand. You are not surprised when you hear the ignition of another blade, your teacher's blade. Still you roll on the ground as you avoid a first probing attack. You are quick enough to find your position again before you are forced to a brief bladelock. A brief one. You could not contend with Teacher Windu on strength alone even if both of you were not helped by the Force. Still you are not without resources. The blindfold falls from your eyes and you hurl it to what you hope is your teacher's face. He does not cut it but simply forces it out of his way to the ground. Now you see him, purple blade at the ready.

And what will be your strategy for this fight. Choose 1 (this form will serve the foundation of your personalized style if you ever learn Form VII)
[] You immerse yourself in the currents of the Force, swirling with their rhythm. Teacher Windu made you rehearse entire duels during the months before. In the proper state of mind, you are able to reproduce these katas, break them into their components and turn them against your teacher's move. You have begun the journey along Form 1. (Horde-breaker, arrhythmic attacks)
[] Your blade sparks as you force yourself in a rigid pattern. Still your moves try to capture the poise and elegance of a fencer. Quick on your feet you try to direct the blade of your opponent around, striking in the openings in his defense. Your feet dance across a straight line in a game of advance and withdrawals. You have begun the journey along Form 2. (Lightsaber duelist)
[] You bring your blade back to your body, weaving a circle of deadly light around you. Defense will be the game here and your goal is to avoid or block your teacher's blade as the air comes alive around you and all is purple and white. Only when he is tired will you strike, spying the opening he can leave in his attack. You have begun the journey along Form 3(Defense Specialist)
[] You call on the Force to suffuse your flesh and you jump across a wall, running as quick as you can before jumping at your master. Even as he brings his blade to intercept you are already rolling at his side and trying to catch him. As he counterattacks you give way, jumping and dancing and avoiding. You have begun the journey along Form 4 (Acrobatic Focus)
[] You bring your blade above your head before striking at your master's blade. You are under no illusion you can overpower him. Still this is training and his strength varies along with his demands. As he catches you in another bladelock, you plant your feet on the ground and strains yourself against his strength. You have begun the journey along Form 5. (Strength Focus)
[] You make a hand sign while you roll around and launch your spirit around. While your teacher waits for a telekinetic attack, you seize control of the training droids, shifting their programming along new orders and flinging them at Mace Windu. Knowing your foe is beyond your skill at ragdolling, you try to catch his clothes to trip him and create openings. You have begun your journey along Form 6 (Force focus)
