I definitely want the mutant ants, but I'm not sure about choices 2 and 3.

[ ] There's these weird path-things that are half-sunk into the swamp and all smashed up. They're made of this black stuff that doesn't taste all that good to eat. You can walk along those paths way faster than wading through the swamp, though.

I thought about picking this, but then I realized one important fact that automatically makes it inferior.

Despite making things go faster, these paths aren't red.

That's some big thinking but consider the following, those spidery gits seem pretty good at snagging things out of the air. At this rate, they're gonna krump the stars before we can and that's just not acceptable, so they gots to go.

And if we loot a thing or two about knocking out skystuff from them, all the better.
