Littlefield was only fortunate enough to have made his way back after several weeks due to the gate still having enough internal power for the inner ring to unlock (since, obviously, the gate would have a reserve if the DHD broke and nobody existed to fix it, while also never going to the gate) and him having just enough strength to do a slow manual dial by himself.The SGC infopost gives the available options and Ernest's Castle
