so some scouting mission with big guns for back up, and study tech with sam's team working on finishing the dialing computer. Lastly, replacing losses should be reasonable

Guys, we're forgetting something VERY important here.

We have another planet, with a big plot device to study, and unlike canon, Ernest returned, with notes and everything. We should be establishing a base there and studying the crap out of that projection device. Especially since we have decades before the castle collapses.

How is President Truman going to take us increasing the Periodic Table by several margins within a year? As well as advancing computer science and holographic technology?

We don't need to leave Earth, Abydos, or Ernest's Planet, we have enough technology right here to really get the ball rolling. And studying like crazy is a much safer idea than exploring unknown worlds.

I like to keep morale up so i am going with Pressure to recruit two new science teams and different amount of pressure on both to see the impact of that
troop recruitment is a single platoon, we don't have other worlds to garrison atm and can do 3 missions at once with regular operations so don't need more squads. a third platoon will give some more flexibility there and platoon are the only asset i used all of.

I believe sunrise was about to say this, but,
The SGC infopost gives the available options and Ernest's Castle
isn't one of them. Ernest's Castle is a no-go site, as the DHD is still irreparably damaged. Littlefield was only fortunate enough to have made his way back after several weeks due to the gate still having enough internal power for the inner ring to unlock (since, obviously, the gate would have a reserve if the DHD broke and nobody existed to fix it, while also never going to the gate) and him having just enough strength to do a slow manual dial by himself.

You've got most of the format right. But when you want to have more experts read in to the program, you have to pay steam or pressure, and requesting that much money is more likely to result in the president laughing you off the call than giving it to you.
 
What actions count for the three offworld missions per turn.
does Fireteam Support count or Establish Offworld Outpost with a science team?

Actually, could we get one of the old 406mm Naval Artillery Turrets installed some distance away from the gate or something along those lines? That should shred anything trying to get through. Some 127mm should also do the trick probably.

offworld missions are the Cartouche Mission's and all missions requiring a planet as a target.

Calculating Planet Conditions...
837-6XR - This world appears to be completely overrun with plant and animal life. The local tribal humans imitate many industrial processes through manipulation of the local flora and fauna.

AU6-M5K - There appears to be remnants of society similar in development to Earth. They were likely amphibious, as most of the planet is water, and a number of structures hardened for long-term contact with water poke out of the sea. Those lifeforms that still exist here exhibit extremely unusual properties.

AE7-OKR - This world appears to be geologically very old, being mostly flat grasslands, low hills, and lake systems. The local humans on this world appear to have unified under the control of a powerful ruling council. They seem to be almost identical, technologically.

This teaser will have to do for most of the rest of the week. Fallen behind in work thanks to the weather.
