Truth be told, I wonder whether I should multiclass into a Survival-Growth Tree, just become an Elder Heart Tree, or go all-in into the Survival aspect. I mean, sure, it's like 4~5 turns away for me, but it's always a good thing to make turn-spanning plans. Basically go something like Survival one turn, and Growth action the next.
... Oh wait, we have the 'Expand Forest's reach' via the Hoop Tree. Eh, we'll see what happens in the next turn; am personally interested in empowering the Worm in my first turn, then maybe empower the Hoop Tree next. Or store resources, considering there are not many voters doing so. Ah well.

I'm taking A growth action, because scavenging + producing = recycling I hope. Next turn I will focus on scavenging again.

We have a problem:
With 3 magnitude and 12 collector trees our Growth Focuses each give 15 successes. 45 with all three.
Tranquil tress require 20 successes, we want three of them and we already have 3 banked successes for a total of 57.
57 – 45 = 12.
With our current bonuses we have a 2.8 modifier to growth action. Meaning we need 5 successes from individual Actions to get all the Tranquils this turn.
And unfortunately it seems I am the only person currently putting their action into it.

Mmm, so doing some back of the napkin math, it's theoretically feasible to get to Magnitude 4 in 2 turns.
You just need
- 3 forest growth focus per turn
- ~23 Root Trees doing Root Growth
- ~20 Heart Trees doing Expand Reach for +20% growth.
See? Easy!
(I am assuming average of 1 success per 2 die, so math may be wildly off)
If we managed to build more collector trees this turn, and finish Crystal Formations, then we would have a larger margin for error there. So incentives for those who like growing fast and support my "next turn 3 focus forest growth rush" plan.
Tbh I find this "ideal scenario" very out there and am expecting us to take 3 turns minimum starting next turn to reach mag 4.
Re: Angelform
Yeah. Not sure why more people are not growing Tranquility tree or expanding reach.

Going to try and work my way towards being an Inventor Tree, hopefully I can fit in enough research votes. Nevermind, looking at actions I think I'd most enjoy a Growth/Defensive combo. I don't think we have any of those yet.

Personally I'd prefer to help stock up our Shard Volley, but others are already helping with that, and with 11 trees praising the Worm I'm willing to help expand our reach to the stars above.
Edit:

-The Hoop Tree extends a powerful magnetic field, capturing stray particles that are greatly distant from the Forest and channeling them to the roots. Sufficient successes empower all Growth actions.
-With 10 successes, the successes of all Growth actions are increased by 10%. 6/10.
We currently have a 2.8 multiplier on growth non-auto successes, going up to 3.08 of the Hoop tree action succeeds. Which means we actually only need 4 or 5 successes on growing the last Tranquil tree.
All Psychic Research actions gain +1 success per Forest Magnitude while the Ingaba Research Agreement is in effect, provided at least one action is taken on them.

I'm curious if the smaller plants have any use.
Edit. Changed my vote to get the pups some food.
I do want some synapse trees though, not the least because we already have people trying to use Focus on research so if we get say 6 or 7 at least we are still getting a chunk of work done, plus they also work for focus comms actions which might be more of value to do any comms project we want each turn.

I personally view Soothe trees as the superior comms options, because it applies even to riot comms, though as a die, not an autosuccess. Taking into account that most comms seen so far have been 5 success miniprojects easily handled by rioters...
On the other hand, growing big enough is literally a victory condition, and one of the simplest to achieve imo. That's why I don't want to fracture focus votes (even more) away from growing super big.

changing my vote, didn't realize how important having tranquil trees would be. In other news, I'm really not sure why so many of us have decided that sacrificing to the worm is the best idea right now? Like I know that they love us, and I love the worm (I think?). But if they require something that could be called a sacrifice that probably should only happen on a once in while basis, you know as a treat.
I doubt we'd grow big enough to win at this pace, if that was our goal we should have told the Ingaba when we first met them to give us food.
On another note, we might completely fill our shard tree if we have good dice roll's. It'd give anyone a nasty surprise when their on the receiving end at this rate especially since it's our sole attacking option currently.
There. Will that work?
