Even after the reboot, I'm still trapped in the wrong anime!

Hopefully Argus isn't stuck in the Exalted XP trap where useful and necessary things quickly get very expensive in terms of XP but can't be "bought" because the character also needs seemingly useless and sundry but vital things which also chew on XP in unpleasant ways.

Nah, there's going to be a large lack of prereqs, aside from needing Basic/Advanced techniques to upgrade them, (though, in theory you could buy and advance a technique all the way to Mastered, but that's saving up and spending 41 XP all at once for a single thing) for example, Dusk could purchase an ability that uses Athletics (or something else they have a 0 in) as part of its dice pool, it'd make the ability near useless and I wouldn't recommend it, but it is possible.

I was thinking of this when I added my commentary to my vote:

cdi's cast of elder exalts.

I recently statted up a bunch of century-old Exalts. Spending a week sick with the flu gives one all sorts of free time. I'm not so great on backstories, though. Rather than create a boatload of threads, I'll post them in this one after I put on some finishing touches and give them a good...

I've actually used all of those 2E characters as NPCs in Exalted games I've ST'd.

That's when you hear what can best be described as a Funk band getting bum-rushed by a 100 piece orchestra. You aren't entirely sure how you can identify it as such, but there you go. There's a ringing silence left behind, and you try to make your way to wear the music came from...
Perception + Travel: 2,2,3,5,5,6 = fail.
You just barely avoid getting lost and have no idea where to even look anymore.
I guess a magical girl crashed that concert. Shame we couldn't find anything...
"Argus..."

Yeah, you know. It seems like you've caught someone's attention...
...But it seems that someone found us.

Seems fine to me, though next time we get exp we should think about upping some skills.

Who wants to roll some percentages? Preferably four different people.
Choose your labels!
(1) Familiarity
(2) Response
(3) Reaction
(4) Notice

I'll reveal the Familiarity roll, because I find it absolutely hilarious that the roll was that high.

It's actually how familiar the town is with these kinds of things, and with 95, it's essentially "Tuesday again it seems." If anyone can find the old commercial of a guy going to work in Townsville (Powerpuff Girls) and just being blasé
about the villains and destruction and other randomness, that'd be the correct feeling of the town.
