Question: If we pick a mon protagonist and throw him into a magical girl anime, does catching magical girls make it count as a harem anime?

Question 2: If we pick an isekai protagonist and put him in slice of life, does that mean he just survives being hit by Truck-kun?

Not all mon anime involve, catching all them all, do they?
I don't remember digimon involving acquiring more digimon for example.

I'm trying to steer away from this idea, because I don't think that capturing the girls is a good idea.
