Since I can't imagine the overwhelmingly unanimous vote will suddenly swing overnight, I'm going to close the vote here.
Wait if the flask already has estus in it he should damn well have been able to heal himself while Kirika was fighting the demon up top, he must be a real idiot or just outright suicidal if he didn't stop to take a sip.e says, retrieving from a small bag a large key and a small glass bottle containing a bit of faintly glowing golden liquid.
I had intended on it being a little bit more of a fight, but considering how quick the Asylum Demon goes down usually even with the basic class starting gear and, as you pointed out, Kirika is pretty well versed in killing and has a high damage, I ended up going with just a quick kill. Also, I know we voted quick kill, but the asylum demon really went down even FASTER than I expected. Guess that's what happens when you throw a basic fat boi demon against one of the more murderous magical girls in the setting, especially if you start thinking gameplay mechanics and consider us having a dex stat in the high 20s and a dex weapon.
Oh I fully expect some bosses to go full Lore Power on us as we continue through the Dark Souls world. Sure, on one end you have things like the early demons, or maybe the Bell Gargoyles. On the other hand? Quelaag is a daughter of chaos, Ornstein and Smough are some of the finest warriors there ever were in Anor Londo, and let's not even get started on the Four Lord Soul bosses.I had intended on it being a little bit more of a fight, but considering how quick the Asylum Demon goes down usually even with the basic class starting gear and, as you pointed out, Kirika is pretty well versed in killing and has a high damage, I ended up going with just a quick kill.
Don't worry, not every boss/enemy will be this quick. This is the """tutorial""" area, don't forget.
In regard to bosses and enemies going full lore power on you, you may find that won't always work against you. While Kirika's magic-detection and whatnot obviously won't work for most magic and entities in Lordran, some situations may arise. At the same time, depending on the application of her usual time-slow magic, certain foes may be revealed to be more than they seem to be.Oh I fully expect some bosses to go full Lore Power on us as we continue through the Dark Souls world. Considering Manus pulls you across time into the DLC areas I can imagine he might be one of the people to pose a potential problem. At the same time, depending on the application of her usual time-slow magic, certain foes may be revealed to be more than they seem to be.
DS2 said:A sorcery that dates farther back than recollection.
Repairs equipped weapons and armor.
Uses light to repair damaged weapons and armor. Supposedly this sorcery restores items to a past state, but with the knowledge of this art lost, the finer details of the phenomenon are unknown.
Repair requires 15 INT in all of the souls games which is actually fairly low, so a big name wielder of sorcery such as Big Hat Logan or Seath could probably do something about Kirika's magic.DS3 said:Lost sorcery from Oolacile, land of ancient golden sorceries.
Repairs equipped weapons and armor. Includes weapons with exhausted durability.
While the effects of this spell are rather subtle, its foundations are a well-guarded secret. Light is time, and the reversal of its effects is a forbidden art.
