I believe that the tallybot isn't smart enough to realize that you're only changing part of a vote, so for anyone who wants to adjust gender vote, you may want to re-up your plan vote, if you had one.

Come, comrades. We've already played a compassionate and graceful naval officer protagonist in Petals of Titanium. Let's use the insurgency conceit to actually be a clever, magnificent bastard-esque insurgent that everyone else thinks is smart but are still uneasy about.
 
After a bit of consideration, I think I'll change my vote. Wedid vote for the insurgency so might as well play it somewhat straight.

I don't know if that really follows, though? We played a graceful character, and because SV is a bunch of saps we also played her as nice. That's not quite the same thing as the Heart of Gold plan.
