Oh Gods...this is what I feared. Hell at this point I'm willing to compromise and change my vote to another one as long as it's the Little Noble and a Male character.😂

Currently it's 7 commoner, 6 valkyrie, 3 empress. It's a margin yes but if every valkyrie vote switched it'd win.

For coin and country! For a ruler that can sit on the biggest bodyguard's shoulder to tower over everyone! For ordering mass executions in a squeaky voice! For the Empress!

If we're lucky, Magoose will have that be the actual Imperial Heir even if it doesn't win. I'd want either Valkyrie or Empress to win, but currently it just doesn't have the votes barring a very sudden swing.

But will she be the best choice? She is a an untrained child who is... well easily manipulated by older, wiser subordinates who may not have her best interests at heart.

The other two will have some compelling cases for becoming the Emperor.

And equally compelling detriments that may absolutely fuck everything up.

Especially if one is in the military fighting on the front lines, world-weary and experienced and the other is a child coddled in court, who's idealistic and not... as experienced.

The dynamic would be fun to write, no matter who the protagonist is.
