@Aranfan
I see that none of Liberalism's intimacies are specifically about economic or trade regulations.
Does that mean Liberalism doesn't really buy into the whole 'free market only free market always global free market makes me more money gonna outsource' mindset of neoliberalism by default?

Or, another way to put that, what would Liberalism's perspective on a nation raising heavy tariffs on industrial imports so its own fledgling industries can grow to compete with those of other nations be?

Liberalism prefers free trade, but protectionism is a mistake people are allowed to make. They would recommend against it.

Well, better than I feared. I can handle getting in character for that ideological perspective, at least.
I disagree with it, but... I have respect for those who can hold a belief without aggressively trying to force it upon others.
Especially when, being the manifestation of said belief, it initially seems obvious that they'd want to force it on others.

Liberalism is anti-authoritarian.

True nuff.
For what it's worth, I think that that if Liberalism properly succeeds in their goal of turning Creation into one competitive marketplace of goods, services, and ideas, things will turn out well in Exaltedland.
I'm just concerned that it may instead turn into indefinite creationwide economic domination by the first few lands to feel Liberalism's influence.

Start up Newspaper
Invest your profits and salary into starting that newspaper. Starting a newspaper from scratch will be much harder than the Printing Business.
Difficulty 4, Goal Number: 20, Capital Required: 4, Interval: One Month

It is done. Your newspaper is ready to open for business, you have gathered a crew of prospective journalists, rented a location, gathered initially interested buyers, and put the money together to do all of it. There are only two things left, one of which is a trifling, the second of which will have massive impact. First, you need to finalize the name of your newspaper. Second, you need to decide how you are going to editorialize. Objectivity, that holy grail of reporting, is impossible. There are too many facts in any situation to be easily digestible for a human, interpretation must be imposed for humans to be able to comprehend a situation. You have two options to guide your editorial decision making: Ideology and Profit.

Ideological newspapers have brought low kings, shattered empires, and reshaped societies. The Bolsheviks centered themselves on the newspaper Pravda for a reason, and that is the massive cultural impact the newspapers of the American, French, and 1848 revolutions had before them.

Then there is profit. The empires of Pulitzer and Hearst were massive, and were achieved by editorializing in whichever direction would attract the most eyes.

Grow Competence
Train your apprentices in the black art of printing.
Difficulty 4, Goal Number 7, Capital Required: 4, Interval: One Month

Three months later, your apprentices have achieved a new level of proficiency in the black art of printing. Honestly, if they were to be turned out to make their own way as journeyman printers they would perform more than admirably. They can continue to improve, but honestly not by much more.

[x] Investigate Calibration.

The most obvious difference during calibration is that the moon is not there. It isn't a new moon, where you can't see it. The physical moon, is gone. Either turned invisible or poofed out of existence for 5 days, you don't know which. You performed a battery of basic physics experiments during calibration as well. They returned results that were... different than on earth. Also, inconsistent with each other. It is as though physics were... calibrating itself. The real shock came when you repeated the experiments after calibration. Everything is just slightly... off from earth. You've taken your watches apart and put them back together twice, and you've found differences in their workings as well, differences that you just instinctively put in as you made them.

This bears further investigation.

My biggest worry is whether we can take the heat from those with opposing ideologies.

First you want a readership first. Then you slip the ideology in when people are already hooked on your product

I think that we can assume that liberty will go about it in a smart way.

After all we are the only one. No need to add Terek. We might want to expand in the future.

The history of creation has been a history of rebellion after rebellion. The Solar overthrew the Primordials and the Dragonborn overthrew the Solar. Is the next age going to be the overthrew of the Dragonborn by the mortals?
