[] "We're planning to personally deliver her to her parents, you're welcome to come along if you want, but we're not going to just hand her over to you."
You stared at Madoka as she kept her hand on one of Yuri's armchair. You could see what she was implying. Spartacus led a Slave uprising against the oppressive upper classes alongside his many fellow warriors. An accomplished warrior and military tactician. That would imply that Chise would have the same might a guile worthy of such a name to be bestowed upon her.
The implications didn't escape Yuri and Touko either. The former becoming more uncomfortable while the latter blanched. The organization couldn't take a civil war as it was now. Tokyo would be free to march once the last ember faded and ash remained of what Kaguya was protecting.
But you saw through some lies too. If only you could touch her and peruse her memories you can compare. But you doubted she would allow that much. Yuri's home was sooner to turn into a battlefield than that would happen. It was infeasible. She was simply sprinkling her lies to make you sympathetic but you could tell that her words of hope and purpose came from within.
You won't be swayed that easily.
"We're planning to personally deliver her to her parents," you told Madoka with a quiet tone, "You're welcome to come if you want but we're not just going to hand her over to you."
"Deal," Madoka replied as she stepped back. She raised her hand and pointed at you, "Try not to mess up."
Madoka looked around then before moving to the front door. She walked right out as you heard her boots' footsteps echoed away. You watched the door for a few more moment before Touko let out a breath.
"Mitakihara... That place is nothing but trouble," Touko grimaced with an uncertain look, "Those folks, few of them know about the Witch process but they're crazy strong. If she's from there, she must be a part of the few controlling the inform around there. It's a safe space so to speak for Magical girls that are ignorant."
"That doesn't matter. What matters is if the girl can be awakened. We don't have the leisure to wait" you said as you glanced at Yuri.
"She would be fine to wake. Let's go get her," Yuri smiled at you. You nodded as you glanced at Touko. She dismissed her costume and sighed as she followed you both to the second floor.
Walking past the room that was once Yukina's, you moved to the room ahead. It was Yuri's room. A simple room with the distinct feminine scent. Was it perfume? You and Touko stepped in as she led you to the girl sleeping on her bed.
Kuronami Nina had yet to awaken but Yuri was about to put an end to that. She held out her hand and spoke.
"Can you hear me?" She asked.
.....
....
...
The girl's eyes opened and she gasped for air before coughing violently. She struggled to breathe before holding her chest while Yuri rubbed her back. Her gray colored eyes soon held confusion and impending panic as she didn't recognize where she was.
"Mom? Dad?" She began to whisper before she looked at you, "W-Who are you? Where is... Were you the ones who took me?!"
Touko stepped in and held her hand up, "Relax. Relax, okay? We're the good guys. We're not going to hurt you."
"We saved you. You're safe here. You've been asleep for a long time," you told her in a calm manner.
"Long time? I... How long? Where's mom and dad?" Nina asked as her eyes began to well up in tears.
"Just a day. A full day but we can get you back to your parents. Listen, I'm Touko... And this is Yukina and Yuri. Yukina got you out of the place you were being held at," Touko said as she tried to calm the girl down. She sat by the side of the bed and spoke in a reassuring tone, "We'll get you back to your parents. We'll take you to them now."
"I... I don't... I just want to go home," Nina murmured as she let out a shaky breath.
Yuri turned to you with a grim look, "Can you give me a few minutes? She's pretty overwhelmed having all of us here."
Touko seemed taken aback before nodding, "Sure. Yukina, let's go."
You and your monitor walked out to exit the room and shut it. If anyone could calm the girl down then it's someone who knew how to handle people. Touko crossed her arms as she had a heavy expression on her face.
"Will this be okay?" You asked her with an uncertain look.
"This won't end with just her returning to her parents. There's no telling what will happen or if she'll just be attacked as soon as she tries to leave," Touko bit on to her nail, the gears of her mind turning, "We have to do something."
"Snuffing out the kidnappers entirely is one way... But the problem lies with Chise and Madoka," you pointed out with a narrowed look.
"Their interests lie in the girl's safety. But I admit, that it's suspect to an extent. Like taking it in with a truck load of salt," Touko said as she met your gaze.
"That I can agree with," you said with a nod, "They're both suspicious but even if we suspect them there's little we could do."
"The girl has high potential. I'd ask her about the information given to us but she's not exactly in the right state of mind... She's delicate," Touko said as she sighed.
"So what now?" You asked with a difficult expression.
"That's... Actually a good question," Touko murmured with a befuddled look as you both stared at the door.
......
.....
....
You stopped before the baseball field. It was a privately owned one and there weren't that much people around. It was the off season so there was no game or reason for anyone to visit the place. It was wide and empty. Not only that but it was also close to the border between East and West.
Yuri had joined you in this venture while sitting with Nina at the back of the car. Madoka had vanished but you suspect that she'll be nearby, watching just how this would all go. Touko's knuckles were white as she parked the car and unlocked the doors.
"Right. Let's go," she said as you got out.
Yuri and Nina stepped out as well as the former helped the latter out of the car. The girl had come to trust Yuri more than she did you and Touko. It was just that Yuri was just so non-threatening that she could do that.
You stood ahead of the group before Nina spoke behind you, "Is mom and dad there?"
"We're going to meet with some people. They'll keep you safe and keep the bad people away," Yuri assured her while Touko transformed beside you.
Nina's eyes widened in surprise, her mouth agape in shock. Touko opened her mouth to say something but chose against it. She waved a dismissive hand and sighed.
You leaned down, "Cool, yes?"
"Very," Nina managed to say as she held on to Yuri's hand. Your group then approached the stadium and made your way inside. There was no one to greet you. No one to see or speak to.
Touko led the way as you passed by the huge stadium lobby before you all went through a set of gates. Soon enough, you were outside again, exiting into the empty field. The gray clouds hung overhead as dusk slowly crawled in.
You walked before Yuri and Nina as the latter girl nervously stepped forward. You stood ahead of her to shield her in case anything happened. Soon enough you were greeted by several magical girls.
Chise leading them as they seemingly came out of nowhere. She wasn't transformed as she approached your group but her companions were all sporting different outfits. She had a look of relief as she walked up to you.
Touko stopped at the same time you did while Chise did the same before you.
"I'm glad you two are all right. I don't suppose you had much trouble?" Chise asked as she looked between you and Touko.
"Not much," you replied as you met her gaze, "Just a scuffle here or there."
"I see," Chise said as she glanced at Yuri, "Nice to see you again, Yuri."
"Miss Chise," Yuri politely intoned.
"Well then... I can't suppose I can keep you here. We'll be handling the rest," Chise said with a small smile.
"Actually," Touko said as she cleared her throat, "We'd like it if we can come with you. Just to make sure."
"Well aren't you two thorough. But I assure you that it's going to be fine," Chise said as she crossed her arms and looked behind her, "She'll be with her parents soon enough."
You stared at her before you called out, "Kyubey."
Chise tensed up at this just as the little white creature answered your call. It poked it's head out from the pack of one of the magical girls behind the Named. It hopped right out and walked up to you.
"Greetings Yukina. How are you?" It asked while looking up at you with its beady red eyes.
"I'm fine, thank you. Tell me, were you asked to come with Miss Chise knowing she would be a acquiring a girl with large potential?" You asked the creature below you.
"Why indeed. It was in my best interest to observe and gather data. As well as offer a potential contractee a wish," Kyubey replied as it smiled at Nina giving it a strange look.
You looked back at Chise, "What are you trying to do?"
"Firing the loaded gun before Tokyo does. I'm only doing this before they get us," Chise sharply replied as she glared at you.
"She's a
child, not a gun," you coldly emphasized as you said as Witch Runes marked your arms, "She's not for you to use like some common tool. What are you to confess next, that you staged her kidnapping too?"
"That was
not me," Chise quickly replied as she walked towards you.
"But you took advantage of the situation. Good intention or no, what you're doing is no better than the people you're fighting against," you stated as your voice grew frigid.
Chise clenched her fist as the rest of her companions tensed up.
"Did you have authorization from Lady Kaguya, Miss Chise? Or were you simply acting on your own?" Touko asked with a narrowed look.
"I..." Chise hesitated before you turned to the side as people came in.
Two magical girls were dragging two adults bound behind their back. They were pushed and shoved forward as the magical girls had the man and woman kneel.
"We got them, Boss! This should make negotiation easier!" The Magical Girl said as the rest of the people present looked at them.
Nina's eyes widened, "Mom? Dad?"
The woman gasped as she cried out, "Nina! Run! Run away!"
"Get out of here!" The man yelled before being silenced by one of the magical girl's spell.
Chise turned to look at you then, "Yukina-"
You didn't let her finish.
Enough
[] You drove your fist into her face so hard she flew.
[] Gears spun wildly above you and slammed down into her body.
[] You burned her. Burned her with rainbow fire till not even ash remained.
[] Your hand pulled her down and gravity took control of the rest. You pinned her down so hard the earth shuddered.
