Would antimagic slow down regeneration?

[X] Bite through the ribbons. Bite and yell at her. Yell at her for being a coward and leaving you here.

Might as well get some jabs in.

[X] Corrupt Angela's Seed enough to force her out. You need flames. You need to burn your way through these bindings!

Let's bring Angela out to play. Remember, this place is in a Bounded Field. It's like a Labyrinth, but for magical girls. Setting it on fire isn't going to burn down the real hotel. And as we've seen, Angela can't do much else. Madoks's anit-magic seems directional, so she has to be pointing it the right way. Angela's fire has to come from Yukina's body, but she can summon Olga's gears anywhere. Madoka can't look two places at once. That, and I really hate the idea of crippling Yukina before going to fight someone she's already having trouble with.

Question: Would you guys prefer few releases but big update or many releases but shorter updates?
I would prefer whatever flows best. Sometimes an update needs 4k words and sometimes it only needs 670. If I had to state a preference for either of the stated options, I'd say the first with the caveat that sometimes big is too big and that you should judge accordingly.

[] Use your gears to crush your hands and feet, freeing you from your binds. You can regenerate. It's not over yet.

With your body on the ground, you struggled to even move an inch. Madoka walked away from you to claim her prize but you won't let her. Not when you're still here. Magic fizzled in the air as gears appeared above you.

The Gas Masked girl came to a halt before turning to look at you. You willed the gears to fall and severe your hands and feet, freeing you from the ribbons that bound you. Blood and corruption stained the wooden floors before light filled your stumps.

Your hands and feet reformed as you slowly got up.

"Hardcore," Madoka whistled from behind her mask.

You let out a shaky breath as you met her gaze behind the lenses of her gas mask. You clenched your fists as you held them up.

"Like a star fish. Well, I guess I shouldn't have discounted you before," Madoka said as she got ready as well, "I'll take you on."

Dashing in, you punched as she blocked and countered. Catching her fist, you twisted it as she broke her own arm to free herself and swing her leg at you. Ducking low, you avoided the hit before cutting your hand up.

Madoka leaned back and dashed away. She pulled out a gun from her back. She took aim and fired as you blocked and parried it with Nacht's power as you advanced. You slid down the ground to force her to move while you summoned gears above her.

She dodged and aimed before you knocked her gun aside. She redirected your strike as you kicked her side and grabbing her vest to slam her into the wall. You used Tatyana's gravity power to cling on the wall and smash your knee into her mask.

Pushing yourself away, you smacked her head to the side where she was left staggering.

"Right," Madoka breathed before she had her hands crackle with green and pink magic, only to release a blast at you.

You gasped and rolled away. You grabbed on to a piece of chair to throw at her. She knocked it aside as you rushed her. Delivering a fast blow to her stomach before swinging across her mask to slam your knee into her gut again. You blocked her counters before you leaned back to duck and perform a tiger drop.

Madoka slid back and lost her breath as you swung your leg at her face. She blocked and jabbed twice to keep you at bay before you grabbed a plant to smash against her head. You kicked her back into the suite before you ran up to her with a jump and a kick.

Madoka tensed and blocked your blow just as magic burst from her body. She lashed out with a concentrated slash before you saw her punch at you. Using your Parrying shield, you countered it and delivered another devastating blow to her gut.

She slid back as you jumped and kicked off a chair to slam your foot against her neck. She hit the floor but caught herself, sweeping the ground with her legs before rising up. She punched fast as you blocked and parried before she caught your arm to pull you to her.

You smashed your head against her fist in defiance, blood dripping down your face before you palmed her away. Your vision swam before you watched her come at you. A cruel fist came flying for your face as you used your elbow to meet it.

The impact forced Madoka back as you weaved through her pink lightning. You punched her straight into her mask. Madoka staggered back as you raised your leg and caught sight of a pink glare from behind the broken lens.

She caught your leg and dislodged it from its socket. Pain ran through your body before she turned and tossed you across the suite.

Hitting the ground, you clawed on it and let out a shaky breath. You grabbed your leg and put it back where it belonged. A single pink colored eye looked down at you as you got up on your feet.

You held your ground while the Gas Masked Girl got into a stance. This wasn't over by any means. You were ready to rock and she was too. A twinkle in her eye told you that she was smiling behind her mask.

You were both ready to dash in but turned your attention to the nearby door. It burst open as Magical Girls poured in. Two dozen of them all had their weapons ready before surrounding you and the Gas Masked Girl. They held their weapons up as the air was soon filled with magic.

Madoka let out a sigh as she shook her head, "Took too long."

The magical girls moved in to secure the sleeping girl in the corner before a knife flew for them. They swatted it aside as Madoka held her hand out having thrown it.

"They're not with you?" You asked her with a frown.

"Tokyo... Is not exactly the most stable place. Tons of factions and the biggest of them being annoying," Madoka replied in a calm tone as she glanced at you.

"You two! We don't know how you got here but you're not leaving this place alive!" One of the kidnappers snapped as she brandished her hatchet, "You got a deathwish or something?!"

"Hey, monster girl. How about you go get the kid?" Madoka hummed as she had her pink eye turn your way, "I'll create an opening."

"And why should I trust that?" You asked with a narrowed look, "Weren't you just stopping me?"

"True. But I can always just come and collect later... Walpurgis-san," the Gas Masked girl said as her tone grew serious.

You tensed at her words. You recognized that term. The Assassin spoke of it too when she met you.

What was it with masked people playing you like this?

"You two! On the ground now! Or we'll turn you into stains! On the floor!" The kidnapper girl snarled as Madoka snapped her finger.

Anti-magic burst and crackled through the air, creating a window of opportunity. You dashed past Madoka as she stood in place while you got the kid. Every single magical girl gasped and cried out in a panic as you carried the girl in your arms.

Madoka held her weapon in her hand. It was a magical stick shaped like a rose.

"Don't let anyone take her," you heard her say as she began to glow with green and pink magic.

You then got ready to leave. You just have to decide how.

[X] Get through the building. Down the stairs you go.

Just watch. There has to be some sort of measure against jumping down because that's so obvious. Like a net by someone on the floors in between or something.

Into the Fire
[] Jump out the balcony. Take a dive.

You ran through the surrounding Magical Girls while the Gas Masked girl held her ground. Carrying the little girl in your arms, you ran out the open balcony and past the pool. You made a dash for the edge as you hopped up the glass railing.

The winds blew past you as you turned. The many magical girls watched as you leaned back to have gravity pull you down. You fell as you embraced the girl in your arms while you swept close to the side of the hotel. Using your gravity powers, your feet stuck to it and slid down.

Glass shattered behind you as you descended while the wind howled past your ear. You heard an explosion above you followed by a streak of pink flying through the sky. You paid it little attention as you fell down, jumping off where you were to land on top of a truck.

It crumpled beneath your weight and the impact of your descent. However Tatyana's power helped in mitigating the force. Looking at the girl on your arms, she still seemed okay.

You hopped out of it and ran out of the bounded field. It was then that color returned to the world and sounds of the city alongside it. You moved with the girl through the traffic as you left the hotel behind you. The damage you left on it seemed non-existent as you glanced back.

Running through an alleyway, you broke into another block before finding Sai's car. Touko already had it started once she sensed you coming for her. She hit the glass and opened the door with magic for you to get in.

Once you were in with the girl, you breathed out a single word, "Drive."

Touko hit the gas and shot forward. She drove past some idling cars and made a sharp turn down the street corner. You held the girl still as you let out a shaky breath. Your feet were cold. You managed to cut off your boots when you tried freeing yourself from your binds back then.

You hit the freeway as Touko tried getting as far as possible from the Hyatt.

"Is that her?" Touko asked in a sharp tone.

"Yes. It's her," you replied as you looked down at the young girl. It seemed that she was under some manner of magic induced sleep. "She won't be waking normally. We have to take her to Yuri."

"Yuri? But central is just nearby. She'll be safer there," Touko said with a raised eyebrow.

"Just... I trust Yuri more. Please," you pleaded as you looked at the rearview mirror while Touko observed you.

She seemed to genuinely think about it before shaking her head, "Fine. We don't want to get trailed by those outsiders."

You let out a breath of relief. You looked down at little Kuronami Nina. Her dark colored hair spilling over your legs as she slept over your lap. She wore the same Auburn colored dress as the day she vanished. You wondered if she's been eating right.

It would be solved once you got to Yuri's.

You just have to make sure first. Especially after what Madoka said.

.....
....
...

"It will take a bit for her to wake," was what Yuri told you as she rubbed her shoulder, "Someone went overboard in using their magic on her. I have to siphon the effects out before waking her. She should be fine."

"Thanks," Touko said as she nodded and glanced at the girl, "If you'll excuse us, please."

Yuri nodded before she gave you a smile, "I'll look after her."

"Yes," you replied as you and Touko stepped out of the house.

"We should probably get Chise on the line and tell her that we have the kid," Touko said as she looked through her contacts, "She'll get the kid to her parents."

"But will that be really the case?" You asked with a frown.

Touko turned to you with a curious look, "Huh?"

"Well... That child is a valuable target. She has a powerful potential within her. Potential that can be used for a powerful wish," you said as you crossed your arms, "Would leaving it in Miss Chise's hands be the right choice?"

"She's the one behind this whole operation. She should know at least," Touko said as she gave you a look, "You don't trust her, however?"

"I don't. Not when this much is on the line..." You said as you shook your head, "If it's in the organization's best interest, then they shouldn't have any problems if we just handed the girl back to her parents."

"Yes that's true but we have protocols to follow," Touko said as she met your gaze, "We can't act on our own. Not without Sai here. There are rules. I understand your apprehension but this is our job. I'm sure Chise isn't going to do what you think she is."

Touko dialed the number and brought her phone to her ear.

"It's Okazaki. Yukina? Oh. Sure. But don't you want the report?" Touko asked with a raised eyebrow as she looked at you, "Sure. Got it."

She then handed you the phone.

Taking the phone, you were met with Chise's voice, "Hey. I know you have a report but I want to hear it from you."

"Why?" You asked with a curious tone.

"Well since this is your first job under me, I was hoping you'd get your feet wet. So how's it going? You all right?"

"I'm fine. Touko is too," you replied calmly as Touko crossed her arms while deep in thought.

"Well that's all right. Miharu sent a report earlier. She mentioned you had a lead. What's your progress?"
