"We'll hit the second stop. It's a hotel within central," you decided as you handed the documents to Touko, "That should be where the commercial district is."

"Try not to cause too much collateral damage. You're going to overwork Kyubey," Miharu said as she crossed her arms.

"Let's go," Touko said as she walked past you.

With that, the two of you went off back to the car. There was work to do after all.

Stopping before the hotel, you recognized it as the Hyatt Hotel. A fancy looking building brimming with tourists during this time of year. Touko had stayed at the car while you went out on your own. Having an unidentified magical girl in the premises would spook the kidnappers if they were there.

You didn't get the logic. After all, you were a crime against God and nature considering you're running on full grief and corruption. Snow continued to fall just as you felt your phone ring in your pocket.

"Can you hear me? Yukina?"

"I'm here. I can hear you," you replied as you looked around.

"Good. Just let me give you a heads up. The hotel is under the effects of a bounded field. It acts similar to a witch barrier but without the reality altering effects. Suffice to say you may end up encountering just magical girls if you enter that field. It's possibly a precaution used by the kidnappers to hide from civilians and Magical Girls alike. Not even Kyubey could penetrate it."

"It should minimize casualties if a fight break out. Kidnappers or not, they're still teenage girls. I don't expect them to be willing to kill innocents," you replied as you noticed the barrier before you.

"That may be the case but try and be careful. There should be plenty of them inside."

"Permission to go all out?" You asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Granted. Acquire all necessary information you can get."

You hung up and pocketed your phone. You walked in the hotel and came upon a colorless world. It was the hotel lobby but the civilians within had turned into shades. It was like you had just gone underwater and you were seeing them as if they were on the surface.

People walked by and passed through you before you looked around. It was the same hotel except not. You looked up ahead before moving to the side to avoid being seen. Some magical girls patrolled the lobby with their weapons out, checking to see if anything came through their barriers.

Hiding behind a potted plant wasn't exactly your idea of stealth as they came close.

"Did you notice anything?" One girl asked her companion.

"It's probably nothing. You're just spooked," the second girl sighed as she shook her head.

They couldn't see you through the luggage that barred their view. You kept quiet as they soon turned and left the entrance.

They're up to something alright. You checked your phone and noticed that it had been turned off. Did it not work in this field? Looks like you're on your own until you take down whatever's behind this place.

You kept low as you pulsed your senses to detect magical girls. You picked up their negativity and gave you a good idea on how they were positioned. You moved in once you judged the coast being clear, walking through the lobby and past the elevators. There was the path to the hotel cafe where a couple of girls were stationed.

They really were just human after all if they weren't keeping a look out. They were effective kidnappers but for people laying low, they were inefficient on keeping people out of their den. You moved to the fire exit and opened the door. Looking up, you tried sensing if there were anyone present but no one was.

There were at least four magical girls patrolling the second floor and the hotel at least had 25 floor in all. They wouldn't be able to look after all of them but it would be best if you didn't attract any attention. You were able to move freely if you just became careful.

Using your gravity powers, you jumped upwards past the second floor to the third. Kicked off from stair rail to stair rail until you reached the sixth floor and felt a couple of presences. Stopping, you got into the sixth floor staircase as the door above you opened.

Pressing your back against the wall, you looked up to feel a magical girl inspecting the fire escape. You noticed a barrier separate the sixth floor and the seventh, locking you out. This can't be good. You have to find another way or risk tripping their alarms.

If they were tightening security this much then they must have something to hide. Moving into the sixth floor, you kept low and dashed to the corner as a magical girl walked out of the door with a yawn.

She wasn't transformed yet. You watched her go past you before you moved. Kicking the back of her knee, she fell down as you sealed her lips with your palm. Pulling her away from the hall, you smashed her down as you tore her soul gem from the chain connecting to her neck. The purple haired magical girl watched in shock as you held her down while showing her gem.

"Where's the girl?" You asked her with a growl.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about-" she gasped before Lachesis' power flared. You looked through her memories.

"Don't worry Ma'am. We have the girl. We'll be leaving in the evening."

"She's sitting nice and proper on the upper floor suites. The fourteenth floor to be exact."

Once you got the information, you dropped her gem and punched her across the face. She groaned before you knocked her out with another strike and pulling her into a supply closet. Shutting the door, you left her there as you released a pulse through the floor.

The magical girls here haven't noticed you yet. It seemed that your luck was getting good. You won't have to reach the top floors like it were a movie. Well at least that's what you thought and hopefully you could keep it that way. But still, the fire exit was blocked off so you need another way up.

You walked through the hotel's halls while keeping your presence as low as possible. Keeping track of the magical girls on the floor, you came upon the elevator while shades of the people on the other side came and went.

Inspecting the elevator, you then pulled apart its doors to reveal the shaft that went down. The elevator itself was beneath you going down and obviously in use by the civilians out of the bounded field. You jumped into the shaft and stuck to the wall using Tatyana Empera's gravity powers.

Standing against the wall, you ran up. Wall running was a strange experience but so long as you kept yourself oriented, you could manage it. So you ran until you reached what seemed to be the 14th floor and stopped. Prying apart the elevator, you came upon a fancy looking hall of marble and red carpet.

The door shut behind you as you frowned. You could only sense a faint pulse of negativity from one living person. But the rest? It was a swirling chaos of negativity conglomerating upon a single entity. An entity free from negativity itself.

Walking forward, you moved past the marble hall to an executive suite large enough to be condo unit in itself. A person stood within the chaos of grief and corruption with a handgun out. You recognized that army uniform.

Holding a sleeping girl in her arms, the gas masked girl turned to look at you while among the bodies of several magical girls. The gas mask's lenses seemed to shine red as she rested her gaze upon you.

"Well this is problematic. I wasn't expecting to meet you again," the Gas Masked girl noted as she looked down at the girls on the ground, "Though I can't say you're with them, are you now?"

"Put the girl down. Now," you ordered her in a firm tone while stepping forward.

"Why?" The Gas Masked girl asked with a curious tone, that mask betraying no emotion.

"I'm bringing her back to her parents. It's my job," you replied with a narrowed look.

"Given by who? That Named Brute? Look, you don't realize just how powerful this child is. And I'm sure the Tokyo girls can provide her a safer haven than among your benefactors," the Gas Masked girl said as she stepped forward, "Especially with how things are... Now stay out of the way."

"You'll have to make me," you said as you brought up your fists.

The Gas Masked girl sighed as she walked to the corner where an armchair laid. She set down the young girl there before straightening her back. Turning her head to the side, her gun moved.

BANG

A pink bullet streaked through the air as you used Nacht to defend yourself. There was a crackle of pink magic before you held your hands you to block the punch from the Gas Masked girl. The blow released a shockwave behind you.

This strength... It's monstrous.



"I have a feeling that we're going to end up like this for a few more times, buddy," the Gas Masked girl breathed before you pushed her back.

She slid back and drew her sidearm. You dashed in and palmed her gun aside and blocked her jab. You caught her swings and strikes before you were open to her liver thrust which rocked your entire body. She turned and smashed your face with her elbow as you fell on one knee.

You sprung upwards and kicked as she swung her elbow down at you.


Your foot collided with her strike as you sent her back sliding. The Gas Masked girl tightened her mask's strap and raised her own hands at the ready. You raised your own fists as you both dashed for one another. You delivered a kick which your enemy dodged before she exploited your opening with a jab.

You raised your hand to guard but just as her first strike hit you, she then twisted your arm and kicked the back of your knee. You watched her leg swing at you as you took it. Her kick sent you flying through furniture and straight into a wall. Opening your eyes, you got up as Madoka taunted you by daring you to get close.

Dashing forward, you used your gravity to boosted your speed and sweep the ground your foe stood on. This forced her to jump as you summoned gears above her. She turned and knocked the gears aside with a kick while you pounced at her.

Your fist connected with her palm which elicited a vicious thud, shockwaves rocking the air. You wrenched it aside as you assaulted her with a barrage of jabs and thrusts as she snuck in an uppercut before punching your liver hard enough to fell down and then kicking your head aside with her boot.

Being sent sprawling, you let out a shaky breath as you turned and guarded your stomach as she lived you.

"Tenacious. Color me impressed," Madoka noted as she watched you get up. You waited as she crackled with pink energy before rushing in at you.

You dodged as she smashed open the walls of the hotel, opening up the balcony before you ran up the wall and kicked her across the face. You ducked beneath her swipe before grabbing her waist and pushing her out of the suite. She stomped the ground and smashed you into it where you rolled and clawed on it to stop.

You blocked her punch before taking one to the right side of your cheek. Grabbing her vest, you sent her flying to the drink bar where you staggered back and caught your breath.

Madoka got up, unscathed as she beat off pieces of glass off her outfit.

"Looks like you're a bit winded. Can you keep up?" She asked as she pulsed with green and pink energy. She dashed to you with a superman punch, forcing you to weave back.

Utilizing your Parrying shield, you countered her next strike. Palming her chest, you dashed in to deliver two strikes to her chest, one strike to her right shoulder, and then three strikes up her stomach, chest and throat.

"Dragon... Of Sacred Halls!" You snarled as you slammed your shoulder against her with a vicious magical strike.

The Gas Masked girl became dazed as you pushed her to the drink bar. She threw you over the counter before vaulting over with her legs sweeping at you. You avoided it by ducking before she swung a backhand that forced you to guard.

She jabbed and punched to force you on the defensive before she struck your stomach. That broke your senses just as you found your head smashed against the glasses bottles and drinks.

Palming her armpit to push her away, she punched and overextended which allowed you to grab hold of it and throw her over your shoulder. She twisted in the air and landed into a crouch.

"Any other girl would have given up. Are you Hoping you can win this?" She asked as you kicked through the counter.

Unleashing rainbow fire, you struck her with all you had as she held up her hand. A magic fine floated before her and stopped your flames dead on their tracks. She crackled with pink energy and canceled out your ability.

Anti-magic.

You staggered back and fell down on one knee.

"Don't push yourself too much. People who overwork themselves end up burnt out," the Gas Masked girl said as she looked down on you.

You moved but ribbons sprung forth to wrap around your arms and legs. Your eyes widened just as you fell down. You opened your mouth but a red ribbon sealed your lips then while you found yourself bound.

"Sorry. But I'll be taking the girl," the Gas Masked girl said as she turned her back on you.

You have to move. You tried breaking free but the ribbons were enchanted to not break. You'll end up damaging your body. You could burn through it but it would need a fiercer flame. More powerful than what you could conjure as you were...

She was getting away.
