[X] You try to Install before Butcher is truly dead
I feel like a Wildcard option in Command Seal is too much of a gamble. And at worst if it jumps towards Alexandria here, with Jeanne Servant we can defeat her if needed.

Very well. The Command Seal will be used. The result? You will see.
Spitfire looked over the destroyed room. Damn those men, they are very dangerous over long distances. She has heard that some of Sage's men have an ability to push at metal, but those metal balls are almost as fast as bullets! One hit and she risks death.
It wasn't her first time in life-or-death scenarios, of course, but this situation was equal to having multiple snipers aiming at her, not a pleasant thing. At least she managed to partially block the entrance with her fire before she had to duck to avoid the shots.
Now she had a problem though. The wall she was hiding behind has yet to break under the onslaught, but won't take infinite punishment. She had to move. But if she moved, she would be open to those metal balls. She wasn't willing to risk that.
At least Greg and Newter were in better situation. Their enemies might be a bunch of brutes, but her two male friends were smart and had power that pretty much counter most common brutes. With the fire limiting their numbers as well, the situation below was good. Now, if only the same could be said for her...
Just as she thought that, a wall was raised in front of the window. She didn't hesitate, only promised herself to buy something good for Elle when this was over.
Faultline made her way to the building on which one of those shooters was standing. Barely. Somehow, despite not being visible to them for a single second, those on the rooftops knew where she was, and constatly attempted shooting her. Maybe one of them was also parahuman sensor? No, unless every one of them could sense parahumans, that wasn't the case.
Still, she managed. Those men weren't soldiers. They had almost no experience, no coordination. Just common thugs given blaster superpowers. She was different. And now, hidden below the building, she was considering her options. She had her gun, but wasn't sure about her aim under fire. She had also her power, but she had to be careful with breaking walls for the fear of being buried alive. Heh, she has been in worse situations before.
She went up the stairs until she was directly under the roof. Surprisingly, no one was shooting at her during that. Maybe they couldn't sense her inside the building? Anyway, since the room was small and she could touch the ceiling, she made a small hole the size of her finger and looked through it. She repeated the action until she found the man. Shooting him with her gun through the hole in the leg made him fall down screaming, and she used that to make a second hole where his head would hit and shoot the second time. She doesn't usually go straight for lethal options like that, but they were the ones who tried to kill, not subdue, first, and she wasn't going to sandbox when her Crew risked life.
One gone, fourteen left.
You didn't expect Butcher to commit suicide. You didn't know if that would make his power attach to random parahuman or what, but such an action has never been reported by Protectorate, so you hoped it wouldn't work like that. Still, if he did stab himself, then it must work. And now you had to somehow deal with that.
Multiple actions went through your mind, but none of them could guarantee your success. You were sure that your magic resistance would block Butcher's power if you Installed, maybe even if you didn't. But Alexandria didn't have this kind of immunity. What if, even if you were closer, Butcher's power realised that you are immune and just went to the next target?
You had no way to guarantee stopping Butcher. But you couldn't allow that either. If that madman took over Alexandria... It would spell disaster for future Endbringer fights at the very minimum. You... you just didn't know what to do.
And then, as if some switch was flipped, you did. Your hand started glowing red with your two Command Seals. Your mouth, controled by you and yet not you, spoke a single word.
"CONNECT!"
One of the Seals glowed brighter, than disappeared. You didn't see that though, because your world exploded.
Your senses... shifted. You couldn't see, hear, smell, touch, taste. You just had this sort of feeling you couldn't describe. You were only aware of two... things. You couldn't describe them either, only that somehow, despite not seeing anything, one of the things, the closer one, was golden, while the other one lacked color.
<CONNECTION>
<Query?>
The things spoke with each other. Their language wasn't a language at all, just packages of information under one big concept. You didn't understand it, but somehow you knew what they were talking about anyway. The golden thing forced a connection between itself and the other thing, and the colorless one questioned it about the purpose of such action.
<QUERY?>
The golden thing ignored the colorless one and questioned you about its actions. With the question, came the ideas on how to answer. You could order it to use the golden energy to repair the colorless shard. Thinking about the option, you for some reason imagined Butcher in the body of Alexandria, but also different. You weren't sure how though, only that the colorless one wouldn't be colorless any longer. In any case though, that wasn't what you were looking for.
Elimination was also an option. The golden shard had enough authority for that, even without the golden energy. In your mind was a picture of Butcher falling down after the suicide, and Alexandria turning a questioning look to you.
The next option was harder to understand. It had something to do with copy of the colorless one, but you felt pain in your mind just trying to think about it. Suddenly, as if the shard took it away, the option no longer existed.
There was another option. The golden shard could take over the colorless one. Once more, you saw in your mind a picture of Butcher, but this time the difference was clearly visible, with the villain holding a blood-red spear and looking very confused. You avoided that option as well.
Once more, an option that caused a headache to you just by existing. You only caught something about change before that was taken away.
The last option, though... The very idea of it screamed c0rR4ppption0n... What were you thinking about again? Ah, yes answering the question from golden shard. Well...
<AGREEMENT>
The golden shard knew your answer without you saying anything. Or maybe you said it just by thinking about it? You didn't know.
<Repeat: Query?>
<ELIMINATION>
<Disagreement>
<ORDER: ELIMINATION>
<Disagreement!>
<REPEAT: ELIMINATION>
Something... shoot out from the golden shard? Whatever that was the colorless shard started fighting, but was losing the battle. It was almost as if the golden one was eating it, but at the same was burning it out instead of absorbing it. It was a battle you couldn't comprehend, yet observed without any senses that could describe it.
After some time, the colorless shard was no more.
<SUCCESS>
Next thing you knew, you were back inside your body.
What the hell just happened? You open your eyes, only to see some ceiling. You then realize that you are lying on the floor. You try to stand up, only for a hand to stop you. You look at it, than at the owner of said hand. It's Alexnadria, and you have no idea what is the meaning of the face she was making.
"Alexandria? What just happened?"
"Who. Are. You?"
"Ehm, Hamartia? Why are you asking?"
"Because Butcher is dead, and I'm not hearing any voices inside my head. That leaves only you."
Butcher is dead? How did that happen? You were fighting him, sure, but... Oh right, he killed himself through one of his projections. But you aren't hearing any voices inside your head either. Is this a trap of some sort by Butcher? Did he take over Alexandria so fast?
No. That's not it. You know what happened. You.. you ordered the death of his... his shard. His source of power. And you gave this order to your own shard. But your shard was different, wasn't it? Stop, you can consider that later, now you have to deal with Alexandria.
"I'm not hearing any voices either."
"Then what do you suppose happened? Where did Butcher go?"
"I... I think I did something to his power, just before he died. It's what made me lose consciousness for a moment, probably."
"Did something? What?"
"I'm not sure, it's the first time something like that happened. Maybe I turned off his power temporarly? Or even permamently? Or something?"
Alexandria frowned and stared at you in silence. Finally, probably deciding that she will trust you for now, she nodded and helped you stand up. Good thing she did too, because you were somehow exhausted and could barely walk on your own. Now that you thought about it, your Include wasn't working as well.
"Both of us are going under heavy Master/Stranger protocols when we get back, understood?" You nod, nearly falling down, but she caught you before that. "Good. Now, you seem too tired to move, so we will both sit down and I'll call Protectorate to get a pick-up for us."
Alexandria helped you sit down, than took out her phone from somewhere. You just focused on not falling asleep and considering what just happened.
You used your Command Seal to order your shard to connect with Butcher's shard. What are your Command Seals then? They aren't just keys to using Install. Does Install work by you ordering your shard to grant you full power or something? If so, what else can you make your shard do?
And for the connection itself, what were the choices all about? Eliminate is self-explanatory, but others? There was repair, but that shard didn't seem damaged in any way. And the takeover... What does it even mean? That vision, of Butcher holding a spear... He seemed aggresive towards you, so it wasn't some mind control. Some kind of power change? Or something like what happened to Theo? But Theo was triggering, so the situation was different...
"The van will be in some thirty minutes. We will have to wait until then."
And with that said, Alexandria sat down next to you, while keeping small distance. Should you talk with her a bit?
[] Ask her about her motivations to be a hero.
[] Ask her what will happen after M/S.
[] Ask her for some advice about future heroing.
[] Ask her for some funny stories about Triumvirate.
[] Write-in.
[] ... Forget it. You are too tired.

1. The Headband Of A Perfect Student: learn things at 365 time the normal speed
2. Mantellum's Personal Anti-Cape Cloak: a very strange looking cloak that respembles three wings with pink and neon green feathers made from what looks like hair. It reduces parahuman powers in 70ft radius up to 90% and additionally weakens their senses by 50% in 20ft radius. Works only on parahumans
3. Medieval Ring of Shadow Form: weaker version of Shadow Stalker's power that doesn't allow you to move through walls.
4. Steampunk Nose Plugs of Wheel Design: your sense of smell is 30 times better (compare to dogs 60 times better)

3. Mini Monitor of Tinkertech Analysing: a tool to scan tinker-tech, giving you information on scanned item, including what it does and how it works, in same cases even weaknesses. It's not enough to reproduce the tinker-tech. Can be used only by you, best mechanical tinkers (like Dragon) and some Thinkers (like Saint)
4. Old 'Not yet a Tardis' Rusty: it's a very, very nondescript van that can assimilate any technology it's given.
- phone

Noble Phantasms:
- The Final Courtain (E+): this book is inbued with the skill of Shakespeare. When you write in this book, you will automatically write a masterwork of a story. The more involved you are, the better the story will be. You can use to just write those stories, but you can also use the book to create plans by writing the story as if you were the main character. Writing a story part take an actions. To write a full story, you need at least 4 parts, but if you have more, the story or plan will be better. Currently you have: 0 parts
Tay: a homunculus that is almost perfect copy of Taylor Hebert, with the exception of her powers. Tay is loyal to Taylor and will be, unless a case of major abuse happens. She can share her memories with Taylor. She also has a special power. It works like Self-Modification C, but can affect other things she touches. A bit like Panacea.
Learning:
Driving (25%)
Full understanding of human biology (10%)
Learnt:
GED-level education
1. A Striker/Trump power. When touching a parahuman, Tay can make his body produce a sort of poison that weakens parahuman abilities. It takes her 2 minutes of constant touching to reduce the parahuman power by 100% (1 minute for 50% and so on). After a minute of not touching, the poison starts being destroyed by the body at the rate of 1% per 10 seconds.
2. A Breaker/Master power. Tay can make her body and clothes take a form between liquid and solid without harmin either. In that form she is moving slower, but cutting and piercing damage has reduced usefulness. Whenever she cames into contact with a machine equipped with internal computer, she can try to use the semi-liquidity of her body to reach said computer. If she does, she can leave a small part of herself in it, granting her a control of it. There is limit of only two machines as of yet, and when she returns to her normal form, she loses the control over said machines, and must infect them again to regain control.
3. A Thinker power. Tay's mind is can analize her surrounding in the middle of a fight without losing her focus on the enemy. Thanks to this, she will never trip due to missing something on a ground or hit a wall because she forgot it's here. It doesn't protect her from enemy action, but it makes it much harder to surprise her with attack that use the environment.
4. A Blaster power that can be called an aim-bot. Tay can infuse amunition or throwable items with a special organism from her body. Said organism is very small, capable of telekinezis, and is connected to Tay's brain. Whenever infused bullet/arrow/stone/something else is shoot/thrown, the organism will use it's telekinezis to make sure the object hits exactly where Tay is aiming. The faster the object is, and the bigger it's mass, the weaker the effect is.
New Wave: this superhero team owes you
Victoria Dallon: you accepted her offer to be friends, and if there is one thing she is good at, it is caring for her friends (and colloteral damage); together with her you took down Empire 88 and agreed to work together in the future. She knows your true identity and your trigger event. Has a general knowledge about your power, but not specific. Seems ready to punch Shadow Stalker with more anger than she even had while being mastered by Discord. She also knows about Tay and accepted it.
Amy Dallon: a well-known healer, who apparently likes to punch nazi. She agreed to work together in future and asked to be taken once more in future to punch some gangs. She knows your true identity and your trigger event. Has general knowledge about your power, but not specific. Knows about Tay, accepts it, and is subconsciously impressed, though that might be her shard talking. She asked you to make something to block emotional manipulation, and you agreed without asking for the reasons
Carol Dallon: not just a hero, but also a great lawyer, specialised in parahuman law. She knows your true identity and your trigger event. Has general knowledge about your power, but no specifics. Your story about Sophia and Emma reminded her of her own trigger, and now she wishes to help you. She has already agreed to collect best lawyers possible to help you with Discord, as well as agreeing to help you get independence after everything is done. Knows about Tay and accepts it.
Theo Anders: the son of supervillain Kaiser and stepson of Purity, the boy is not a white supermacist. His desire to protect his half-sister Aster from crazy black racist that threatened to shoot the baby in her head, made him trigger and gain the power of Karna, the Son of Sun God and the Hero of Charity. The speech you gave him about being a hero filled him with determination to become a great hero, and he will not rest until he achives the goal. He feels he owes you a great dept, and feels a bit of hero worship towards you.
Brute 3 strength, Brute 2 endurance, Mover 4 speed
Small resistance to parahuman powers and resistance to magecraft
Knowledge of using all sorts of normal vehicles, but not tinker-tech ones, as well as riding normal animals
Due to his divinity, all protections are slightly weaker when he attacks
Unless his enemy knows the True Name (Karna), abilities that allow to measure combat capabilities (such as experience, instinct of thinker powers) will consider Karna to have 1 rating less in eveyr rating, as well as underestimate his skill in riding and martial arts
He can coat his body and weapons in flames
Lying, giving excuses, or hiding things from him is much harder and requires either great skill in deception of powers that help in that regard, and even then he might still get suspicious
He can materialise a spear and demeterialise it whenever he wishes
Unknown, Installing for the first time required
Undersiders: you are their boss now, and they are going to change into a hero team
Grue: His power let's him generate darkness that he can see through. The darkness also dampens sound, some parahuman powers, radiation and some other stuff. You agreed to help him gain custody over his sister, though you aren't sure as of yet what kind of job should you offer him.
Tattletale: self-proclaimed "I have Sherlock Holmes on tinker steroids in head" thinker with an ability to gain information based on seemingly not connected clues, Tattletale is immensly greatful to you for dealing with Coil, who recruted her on gunpoint. She wants to work for you, because she feels indepted to you, because she thinks you are a great opportunity, and because you can and will help her teammates. You are currently preparing a legal identity with all the paperwork for her.
Regent: though most think all he can do is cause muscles of his targets to twitch, he is in truth a master that can take complete control over someone given enough time to map out their nervous system, a fact you know and accept. He is a son of Heartbreaker, and is on the run from his father, whose abuse broke him and made him unable to empathise with other people. Still, he can feel emotions, and likes you for accepting him despite his power. You are currently preparing a legal identity with all the paperwork for him.
Bitch: her power is part Trump/Shaker and part Thinker, though in practice it works more like Master power. She has greatly improved understanding of dogs and their behaviour at the cost of greatly reduced ability to communicate with humans. She can also boost dogs, making them grow and gain strength. Due to her thinker power, as well as traumatic childhood, she has trust issues and dislikes humans in general. She doesn't really trust you either, but she feels greatful for your help, making her puzzled over how to confront you. Currently, you are preparing her case for courtroom, as her case of murder during trigger event wasn't properly investigated and made her a criminal for no reason.
Confrater: the girl is a Stranger that can make others remember knowing her as best friend, a teammate, or whatever else she wishes, with additional stranger effect that makes affected ignore some stuff she wishes, like her sex or a glowing earring, and a master effect that makes her less suspicious in eyes of people who suspect there is a stranger at work. She used to work for Sage, but sold him out to protect his brother Circus and from greatfulness for helping her no-longer-ill sister.
Faultline's Crew: they are currently working for you full time, at the price of $8.000.000 per month. You ordered them to break out Canary from her transport to Birdcage, and contact Travelers for you.
1. For 1 Command Seal Taylor can Install the current Servant.
2. For 1 Command Seal Taylor can force QA to connect with another Shard. When connected, Taylor can choose between eliminate (kills the Shard, most likely kills the host), repair (?), takeover (?) options. Whatever the choice, Taylor can't use Include until the end of the next day, and Install one day more.
Jeanne d'Arc, Ruler
Include grants you Brute 3 Strength and Endurance, Mover 4 speed, an ability to summon a flag/spear hybrid and fight with it, a great resistance to both parahuman powers and magecraft, two command seals for this day only that can be used only on other Servants (so only Theo right now), a small boost to charisma and a sort of instinct that helps you make right decision to achive your goals.
1. You can spend 1 point to add 5 Item Creation Points during crafting (can be used multiple times during a single crafting session).
2. You can spend 1 point to add 5 Territory Creation Points during crafting (can be used multiple times during a single crafting session).
3. You can spend 1 point to give Tay random positive effect using power.
4. You can spend 2 points to choose Tay specific positive effect using her power from the list of five effect I roll.
5. You can spend 1 point to push your Include strength up during a single combat scenario (like treating all ranks as if they were one rank higher, or getting limited access to some skills normally available only in Install form).
6. You can spend 1 point to re-roll Servant
7. You can spend 1 point to choose the class of next Servant you roll (only standard 7 classes)
8. You can spend 3 points to regain a single Command Seal (choose whether it goes to Taylor or Theo)
9. You can spend 1 point per day to fit in additional action to write a single part into The Final Courtain
The owners of points have the final say in how they are to be used. The owners: Kejmur: 13 Raphael: 13 NathanMedium: 1 Keani: 1 YCG: 3
New changes:
no changes
And that would be it. Yes, Taylor can make QA connect other Shards and play with them. No, it's not a perfect solution for all fights, because after doing so, Taylor can't Include until the end of next day, and Install additional day. Still, it's a powerful tool for you to use. You know what 'Eliminate' does, but other two options will require you to use them first for explanation from me. Of course, I've left clues in the story as to what those options would do, so if you roll Perception high enough...
Before anyone asks - Taylor doesn't suffer like that every time QA connects with another Shard. She only suffers the Include-block when she uses Command Seal to force QA to connect. As such, QA can still do things on her own without Taylor suddenly losing her Install. Remember Theo triggering? That's for example when QA did something on its own.
The vote this time is purely... for fun? Unless you put something crazy in the write-in, it will have no real effect on the future of the story, so no moratorium this time. Just ask Alexandria something you believe Taylor would be interested in. Or don't.
Oh, and from which perspective do you wish to have the next Interlude? I might make it after this chapter, or later, but I wish to know now.

Also, I think we should ask for a message sent to Myyrdin. Also, we should call someone we trust to pick up our stuff, because M/S protocols inevitably includes disarming, and I don't trust the PRT with our stuff.

Yup, Greg as a short version of Gregor used by Spitfire. She prefers to call him that.
Unless you are resisting or something, you don't have to worry about this kind of stuff. They will be calling Tay and maybe Amy or Vicky for the purpose of having someone close to Taylor help with the protocols anyway, so having Tay take your things won't be a problem. It also makes sense to be somewhat providing for such parahumans, if only to avoid angering a potentially unstable cape that is for now playing nice.
Also I will spend 3 points on Command Seal. I think it would be nice if it showed up once she goes to sleep and wakes up next day for it to make sense plot wise. And she will in-story consider it a reward for a job well done against a tricky opponent.
[X] Ask her about her motivations to be a hero.

I don't really want to ask for funny stories, that feels weird for their relationship so far and would imply bad things about Taylor's ability to consistently keep track of relationships
NON-CANON SERVANT INCOMING: Tell me if you figure out who it is! The general gist of the chant to activate the Reality Marble will be obvious if you know who it is.
Asssassin
Identity
Assassin's True Name is Playtime. They represent a child's sense of adventure, curiosity, and desire to have fun. Playtime isn't a true Heroic Spirit, instead just a mask that can be taken on by various Wraiths when summoned. Because of this Playtime can be summoned in many different forms, and if summoned will be summoned in one most well-suited for their Master. Because of this, however, there is no way to summon Playtime intentionally: It is only possible to summon them naturally.
Appearance
A young boy, seemingly 12, in a blue and white suit with a gorgeous blue bowtie. He is bald, with a blue and yellow striped cap with a propellor on the top of it.
Personality
Playtime is a frenetic young boy who is tightly wound. He thinks, speaks, acts and reacts quickly and energetically. He is very enthusiastic and enjoys playing with his Master.
Playtime doesn't deal with stress very well: He doesn't want to fight, but will if needed to protect those he cares about. If he's caught off guard and is given time, he will have a panic attack of sorts, going into a loop of thoughts that lead back into each other leaving him caught panicking. In the heat of the moment, however, he acts much more decisively than those who know him as a friend would expect, as a Servant rather than as a child.
Abilities
Playtime is weak. In most situations, he cannot protect himself against those of a mystic nature, even being beaten by most Magi. Unless, of course, they can't think through their actions and act rashly, in which case Playtime may be able to defend himself and his Master. If there is one thing that Playtime cannot be beaten on, however, it is Good Luck. After all, when a child is playing they always have what they need to happen in the story happen...

Playtime has Presence Concealment D+, allowing him to hide both his own status as a Servant as well as his Master's status as a Master from magical senses, although this only protects from magical senses and does nothing against the mundane and logic. Playtime has Golden Rule E, never needing to worry about any mundane expense or need. Playtime has Rosy Cheeked Adonis C. Playtime has Protagonist of Your Own Story A, granting it to his Master as well as him.
Protagonist of Your Own Story: A skill that arises from the explicit protection of the plot. In real life anyone can die at any time for terrible reasons, but in a story certain rules need to be followed. The less significant something in, the less plot-relevant it is, the stronger the protection this grants. At its weakest this protects the user from stray attacks, being caught up in unrelated events, and from those who are much weaker or irrelevant, such as hired thugs. Furthermore, this skill will protect against the story changing too drastically. If used in a Holy Grail War, for example, it would make a nuclear apocalypse impossible, simply because that would change the story too much. This does nothing against those who are part of the story of the user's life, such as enemy Magi and Servants. Not only that, but it makes it impossible to hide from the plot: It will push events to get the user to get back involved.
Calvinball: Rank C: An ability that every single Wraith to don the mask of Playtime has, due to its synonymity with children playing rigged games. When this is activated, Playtime can dictate rules that must be followed. This effects every combatant, and the more unbalanced this makes the 'game' the more mana it costs. This is calculated based on the entire difficulty, so Playtime has a fair degree of ability to create rules because of his own weakness. These rules are difficult to create if they aren't something he can believe in, which means that silly rules such as "You are only allowed to walk on one foot" and "You must declare names for each of your attacks before using them" are easier to create than "No casting magecraft".
The Backyard: Rank B: A world where anything can exist, where anything will exist. This is this Playtime's ultimate ability, a Reality Marble. This Reality Marble overrides any and all other Bounded Fields, including other Reality Marbles, and overrides all mystical energies, not including True Magic, that aren't built to deal with Reality Marbles. When this Reality Marble is activated, it creates an entire world within it according to a single concept. This can be anything from as simple as "knights vs monsters" to as complicated as "D&D story". Time is massively sped up within The Backyard, allowing an entire adventure to be lived out. Those inside The Backyard don't age or change as people: Rather than growing, it is more like the adventure is much shorter than it actually is. This Reality Marble will shrink to the size of a basketball once it has caught everyone within its borders, being bigger on the inside. This allows the cost of keeping The Backyard up to be incredibly cheap. There is an adventure that must be completed without failing for The Backyard to naturally dissipate. Playtime has no control over what this adventure will be except to designate enemies and allies, but exists in this world and can work with his allies to attempt to hinder any enemies caught within. Playtime cannot stop the Reality Marble once it has been created, however it will dissipate if he stops being able to provide magical energy to it: Whether that's because he ran out of magical energy or because he died is academic, because without magical energy he will die. The Backyard disables most Noble Phantasms and severely weakens almost all of the rest: Calvinball doesn't work in The Backyard.
