-[X] When the Chosen returns, make him a counter offer. Since you were both played against the other by the sowing men, you will show them the consequences of trying to trick their betters
-[X] Together follow the river down to strike at the Great Hearth, punish the plainsmen and claim tribute for Makar and their ancestors alike
-[X] If the Chosen doesn't accept then:
-[X] Accept the deal.
--[X] Give up one unit of warriors, picked by the Chosen.
---[X] All Greenvalley warriors will swear blood-oaths to never teach anyone their skills.

[X] Try to flee. You still have a day before his warriors are in Riverbend.
-[X] Flee immediately to keep as large a distance to the pursuers as you can.

@Azel
Can we get the Warriors back? Through Force i mean. They are ultimately loyal to Us.
Personally I view this deal with Makar as a temporary measure to ensure our valley is safe, once we know it is or isn't we can decide from there.
If it is, then we gather together to burn Brushcrest before we get our troops back from Makar.

Hopefully he will find it tempting and we will have our revenge.

Satar's plan is fine but I see no reason for the Makarites to invite us in on raiding Brushcrest. Again, they're blood knights, why would they want us making the fight less honorable in Makar's eyes and stealing their loot?

@Azel If the Makarites accept either of our offers, will we have a chance to dispatch our fastest men to run to Greenvalley and inform them of recent events?

Because we have proven ourselves strong warriors who make worthy allies (if we can persuade them of the fact). They are not Khornite berserkers, they have some notion of diplomacy.

Also if they prefered simply having a good fight over getting more manpower against their foes they would fight us here and now instead of trying to absorb our warriors.

@Satar, the one thing I would want the not teaching skills blood oath specific to those who don't have their ancestors bones interred in the temple of bones. As it's currently written the oath could be interpreted to prevent training our own warriors. It would also give an opening to spread our faith to the Makarites if they really want our skills.

Our people are smart enough to realize that yes, this is an oath aimed towards those who have to join the Makar and not something as ridiculous as vowing to never train our own.

time to slap the plains people, never again will we hear of their cries for mercy as we scatter them to the winds. never again will we allow them to trick us once more.

Things look fairly decided.

-[X] First of all, fucking merk that chosen.
-[X] As in the previous plan, juke east towards the river. Do not cross the river, though. Head immediately south and then west, towards Makar. Their host shouldn't be too far behind their scouts; by the time they see the feint, they should be north-east of our force. Don't try to conceal our tracks heading south though; if they don't realize we're going for the god-king, they might head for Greenvalley.
-[X] Head straight for Makar, cross the river and attack the site to incite a slave rebellion. Once we've taken it, all we need to do is defeat the force pursuing and run like hell for Greenvalley.

After this we need to stay the hell away from these guys, our mandate of the ancestors means we literally cannot interact with other polities as peers and will always look down on them.

We literally can't, and shouldn't surrender without a fight.

Mandate of the Ancestors:
must always treat other polities as lesser and can't interact with them as peers

This means, I think, that we are better than anyone else and thus should not surrender anything without a fight!

Plus our other ideals, specifically the perseverance, says that we should stay the course even when we get difficulties.

Then fleeing before even seeing the foe seems like the worst choice?
