Wonder if ending on a tie would do anything
Alright. We're 900 words into this quest, and we haven't yet had the option of recruiting an engineer!Pikachu or a chef!Charmander to our team. I'll soon have to begin rioting. You could have been born Pokémon. As a simple Bulbasaur tending the fields. Or as one of the Pikachu engineers. You could have even been born a Charmander and become a chef. Anything else but a Human, fated to throw your life away as a Trainer.
there are other Towns and Cities, most of which are bigger than Pallet and have more Trainers. It's rare for too many parties to travel together, though, because larger group = higher visibility and slower travelling speed. Plus, you'll be dividing whatever spoils you manage to acquire.@wdango am I correct in my interpretation that these two are close to the town's last combatants/pseudocombatants, and that leaf is our only backup for the immediate future?
So, no-one in our community can realistically reinforce us, and getting any sort of reinforcements from another community will cost us to the tune of half the spoils, if we can get them at all.there are other Towns and Cities, most of which are bigger than Pallet and have more Trainers. Non-Pacted Pokémon can fight but they're typically unevolved, and they can't go into the Miasma for too long or they turn Wild. This can take anywhere from seconds to hours, depending on the individual Pokémon's resistance.
Gramps, Sis, and Auntie Delia are all Humans and obviously Trainers, but they can't leave Pallet because reasons.
Depending on how the next vote goes, you might start with more than one Pact.Combined, they mean that if we want to work with anyone other than a single Pacted Pokemon for the foreseeable future, she is our only option.
In a good way, I hope.I will admit that this seems inspired by the Pokegirl setting.
Admittedly, if the number and quality of pokemon that can accompany any given human without going buts and becoming part of the deathworld is strongly limited, adequate Human Management would be quite hard. Also, the Pokemon are screwing up their human management techniques if population is this low.
...what?I will admit that this seems inspired by the Pokegirl setting.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. She has semi-plot armor in that I will drop the quest if she dies, so it's fine.
"It's okay, love." She recaptures you in her embrace. "We're gonna be okay."
Domain, though... Well. I assume that attribute points are spread across all Pokémon a trainer has, rather than being the number of attribute points available to each Pokémon, but even so, this is an extra Pokémon. I... don't really see any reason to not pick this. Safety in numbers was part of why we're taking along Leaf, so let's double down on that and add another Pokémon to our party.
