Persona 5 Prequel Quest: Character Creation
What was that? The world seemed quiet, yet as your heartbeat was quietly thumping faster. You felt danger, and fear from the voice. Your eyes only stared into the darkness. A blue light was in sight, and like a moth to a flame, your eyes drew towards
Then the voice spoke again… This time softer, like he was ill. It was a sick man's voice
Stay awake for just a little longer, I need you to stay awake for one more minute!
You felt tired. But you held out your hand, willing yourself forward, through the darkness.
You are far more determined then what the world believes you to be.
You saw the light get closer, but you feel so tired… you just wish for it to end.
And then you saw it, the butterfly. It was beautiful. The blue wings touched your fingertips, and then it disappeared. The light faded away to infinite blackening darkness.
The seed has been planted. Do well young one.
You fell asleep.

You awoke, seeing the train slowly slip into the station, the conductor's voice coming over the intercom, saying that the train has finally entered the station and that soon, everyone who needed to get off would be disembarking.
Instinctively, you scratched your arm, and moved your phone, hearing a small click from.
You looked back to your phone and saw what had happened. The headphone jack had been removed, the cord dangling above your knee.
Crap. Plugging it back in, you stood up and slugged your backpack over your shoulder.
Hopefully, your stuff reached the address.
Tokyo was a big place after all.

It sucks, but you've had to deal with it before. Hopefully, the move is permanent. (You live with your parents, OC's. You are in high school.)
[]College Bound: You just got accepted into Tokyo Metropolitan University. You are taking a few days off to set everything up in your friend's house. (You live in the Sakumoto's resident as a guest for one of your families friends, you are in college.)
[]Adopted: You have been bumped around from foster home to Foster Home, with all your previous foster parents using you to get government money. Thankfully, you are with a family who genuinely gives a damn about you. (You are a Ward of the Niijima family. You are in High school.)
[]You were Brought in For an Experiment: Wakaba Isshiki had asked for volunteers for a research program involving human cognition, involving her "Cognitive psience" theory of the collective unconscious. You had little idea on the specifics of the theory itself, besides that there was the idea of people having inner selves, but you always wanted to work with the Doctor. She is even allowing you to stay at her friend's place during the experiments so that you can write down all the experiences of the experiments during your downtime. (You are a subject of Dr. Wakaba's Experiments on Cognition. You live with Sojiro Sakura, at his home .)
AN: So I'm all drunk and stuffed from Pre-easter feasts... So here's a strange little idea to that I liked a whole lot now that I Finished Persona 5 for the fifth time.
Although this is a persona quest and a prequel/Alternate Universe at that, this will not follow the persona formula of the dungeun crawling system than social links that Persona is known for. This will follow a more adventure formula, with actions being chosen and done, with the important events spread out over their own events and miniturns.
I hope that my brother gives me something for my stomach.

I just chose it because I could not think of any other ways to describe that kind of proficiency in activities, and being a freak, the overactive and always training athlete was what I was when I was high school.

But that's a trait that could be assigned to any one of the other personality choices. You can be an Athletic Delinquent, Athletic Quiet Person, Athletic Teacher's Pet or an Athletic Outgoing Kid. But you can't be a Quiet Teacher's Pet or a Delinquent Outgoing Kid and vice versa. Also, it ultimately doesn't inform us anything about how the PC would react to any situation that doesn't involve physical activity. For example:
Hypothetical situation - The Teacher asks you to help marking some tests.
- The Quiet Person nods slightly because they don't want to make a fuss, regardless if they want to do it or not.
- The Outgoing Kid smiles brightly and ropes their friends into doing it with them, not that they need to as their friends would've offered to help regardless.
-The Teacher's Pet nods eagerly and does an even more thorough review of each test even when compared to the teacher's resulting in the teacher feeling guilty at passing their work off on their students.
-The Delinquent runs away while simultaneously flipping the bird at the teacher who sighs. They had expected that response.
-The Athlete... Refuses because they'd rather exercise? Exercises while marking the tests? You see the problem here? I have no idea.

Well might as well vote, classic Persona style new transfer high school student. The Niijima sisters are amazing and using the scrapped concept where the P5 protags was supposed to live with them sounds interesting. Picked Quiet because personally it just appeals to me the most.

I actually don't know much about the scrapped content of P5, but I am going to say that this is 5 years before canon, so Sae is not yet a lawyer (but is getting there), Makoto is Smolkoto (protect her with your life), and the Nijima Patriarch is still alive. For now at least.
Oh the Hilarity that may occur because of that.

So how old is Sae at this moment? I'm assuming she'd be starting college, but then again, we've never been given any indications of her age, so it's really up to your interpretation.

She is 19, and is a first year in college at this moment in time, earning her law degree. Tae is also in college earning her medical license. That is my interpretation at least.

Well... two of those times was helping my brother over his shoulder and teaching him how to play... but yeah. Really.
I'm actually surprised too. Sojiro was best dad for the entire game, even when he acted like an ass at the beginning.
