again, you are putting the rules of human common sense on something that up until recently had zero cause to develop such skill. And that recent need (a full 50 years) were spent underground and given the bare minimum needed to be kept alive. So zero chance to learn and apply any lessons learned even if you dont include the long ass time spent as king of the world before they were sealed.

I don't agree. When the king of the world gets so hurt, crippled and humiliated by lesser beings, if he is smart, he learns to not underestimate them, at least.
Well, to explain, in Pyroverse, the Bijuu are based of the Seven Deadly Sins, plus the two others that got written out over time.
Shukaku = Lust
Matatabi = Despair/Misery
Isobu = Sloth
Son Goku = Gluttony
Kokuo = Envy
Saiken = Greed
Choumei = Pride
Gyuki = Vainglory
Kurama = Wrath
When the Jubi first showed up, his lingering taint spread across the land, mixing with the negative emotions in the air. These fused together to become the Bijuu you all know and love. Even now, the Jubi's blight has never faded.
So, you could say that's all the Bijuu's 'default' emotions. Kurama is basically pissed off 24/7 and full of HATRED. Yes, he is old and smart, but he isn't immune to his emotions blinding him. So yes, Kurama will lash out in anger because that's the core of his being. Kurama does understand that humans can be dangerous, but his desire to get vengeance is too stronk. Sometimes for good, other times for the bad.
Every single Bijuu has their vice, and no matter who you chose, you were gonna have to deal with them.
[X] Call yourself Hinata. Revealing your true name might cause issues.
Here's hoping that being stuck in a human body will at least teach temper the rage a bit or at least let him keep it in check when it's counterproductive. Strangely enough, though, he didn't seem to have much real trouble hiding his rage while trying to escape.
Seems that pursuing goals is a good way to keep himself in check.

Well, okay, that makes more sence then. Hope to see the actually mature side to him soon. Because Orochimaru is not the guy you take lightly if you don't want to wake up tied to a lab table one day.
It is, Vainglory was eventually folded into Pride itself, iirc. Basically the difference is that Choumei is super prideful of herself, Gyuki loves the glory of a good fight. It's also why he's the 'easiest' Bijuu to control. Give him a good fight and he'll be chill. Well, mostly.
Vainglory is like the narcissist part of pride, but I sort of took the "glory" part of that word and folded that into it for Gyuki to vary him up a bit instead of solely being a prissy prim and proper appearance oxtopus. The pride proper that Choumei has is uncontested arrogance.
"Hinata." you said, looking at Orochimaru wearily.
"Very well, Hinata. Come with me," Orochimaru said, turning around and beginning to walk away. You kept the dagger close as you followed him. The journey was in complete silence and there was several times you thought about merely backstabbing Orochimaru, literally, but you kept your cool. For now, anyway. After a few hours, you reached a large wooded area and Orochimaru made a single handseal. The ground began to shift and morph until it revealed an entrance underground.
"Why couldn't I see that with my Byakugan?" you asked Orochimaru, both curious and slightly annoyed that something could be hidden from your eyes.
"Hm...the Otogakure is hidden underground, you see. These tunnels expand all over the Land of Sound, each of them their housing their own district. However, they all connect to the main hub of the village. Of course I would put in some defensive measures against abilities like yours. Otherwise it wouldn't be a hidden village, wouldn't it?" Orochimaru explained. He walked down the stairs and into the entrance, with you following him shortly afterwards.
So far Orochimaru seemed to hold up his end of the bargain...he did show you to the Otogakure. The entrance behind you sealed up, blocking out daylight. You were now in a very long hallway, the only source of light was torches hanging on the wall. You followed Orochimaru through many twists and turns, ignoring many other doors and routes through the tunnel until eventually you were brought to a large open area where you were blinded suddenly by bright lights.
"Welcome to the Otogakure," Orochimaru said. Your eyes adjusted to the light and then you finally saw the village. Despite being underground, the entire place was as bright as day due to large lights hanging above the village. The buildings looked like the ones from the Leaf, but it looked more...metal and alien to you. There was a lot of metal and odd protrusions from the buildings, and overall it made it look more...futuristic than the Leaf.
"So...Hinata. You have a choice," Orochimaru began, turning to you. "I would like to preform some medical tests on you. Nothing too invasive, just seeing if you have any potential."
"I am not your toy to play with!" you growled.
"Of course not. But, I understand you must be tired. If you wish, I can give you your own place to rest for the night. Get a chance to eat a warm meal, cleanse yourself, and relax before the examination." Orochimaru continued with a smirk.
"So I must be forced under these tests no matter what?" you snarled, your temper beginning to flare.
"Yes. But do not worry, it's just to make sure you will be strong enough to begin your life here in the Sound. So, what is your choice, Hinata?" Orochimaru asked.
Well?
[] Fine, just do the stupid tests as soon as possible. Get it over with.
[] You want to rest before the tests. Maybe some food and a nap will do you some good.
[] Threaten Orochimaru that you're not taking these stupid tests. He has no right to know more about you!
[] Write In.

That moment just before you feel like mistakes were made..... did you guys think Orochimaru is going to pull out chloroform or inject us with a sedative?

"Fine, do your stupid tests!" you spat. You didn't really want to do this, but something rational in your mind told you to just play along for now.
"Very well. Follow me." Orochimaru bluntly said. You did so, looking around the village and trying to take note of anything curious. Eventually you reached a large building which you knew as a hospital...thanks to the big sign hanging over the front door. All of the doctors and nurses instantly bowed to Orochimaru but he casually waved his hand and said, "Enough of that. Please give Hinata here a medical exam. She will be a shinobi of the Sound. Afterwards, I shall talk with her...privately."
You didn't like the sound of that, but there was nothing you could reasonably do right now. You sighed and followed a nurse who brought you to a sterile looking room that had plenty of equipment around. After sitting on a bed, they hooked you up to some electronics that beeped mindlessly, grating on your nerves. They removed your blindfold (after much grumbling on your part) and the nurse looked rather surprise to see your Byakugan, but otherwise said nothing.
Soon you went through a whole exam which included having them look in your nose, eyes, and ears, checking your heart rate, and even drawing a blood sample with a syringe. You hated this entire ordeal, but you fumed silently. No point in being fussy about it now. More tests happened, most of them so mind numbing that you barely paid attention, but there was one test that instantly got your attention.
The nurse pulled open a drawer and revealed a stack of paper that were barely big enough to stretch over the palm of her hand. She handed it to you and began to speak, "This will test what your natural elemental affinity is. All you have to do is flow your chakra into the paper and it'll have a certain reaction."
"Hmph..." you grunted, holding the paper flat in your palm. You began to flow chakra into it and the paper...
[] Burst into flame and turned into ash!
[] Crumpled into a wrinkled heap!
[] Exploded into a small and bright fireball, leaving nothing behind!
[] Didn't change at all. Nothing happened.
