Once More In a Dream
[X] Go find an inn to spend the night at.
[X] Take a quest, or several!
-[X]Additonal Scribes Needed

You immediately focus on the request for additional scribes and take it to the counter where the usual suspect quickly connects the request to your Card. You give her a brief thanks, the familiar smile never leaving her face as she wishes you a good night, before heading out of the Guild Hall in search of an inn.

Scribe work isn't something done quickly for that scale meaning you have no need to worry about it ending before you get to complete it, especially considering that most scribes would be off at this time of day.

This time it takes you an incredible amount of time to actually find an inn, the influx of travelers, adventurers, mercenaries, and merchants having filled the town to bursting. Sadly you find the typical prices for a night have skyrocketed to forty-five coppers for room and meals which leads you into a rather short bout of haggling with the innkeeper.

By the time it's over you've only managed to reduce the cost by five coppers, better than nothing really, and head up to your room with the little furball close at your heels. Once you've entered your room you quickly close and lock the door before climbing into bed for the night...

---

Miraculously you find yourself returned to the dreamscape once more, it's feeling the same as your last visit as new words burst into existence before you. Your attention is immediately drawn to the short line before you.

Vessel has obtained one Heroic Legacy Point for obtaining their first underling. The Spirit gifts you another chance and supports your drive forward, Vessel.

Immediately after the words shattered into multi-colored motes of light, a familiar screen quickly shaping as those motes meld together again. However, what truly draws your focus is one of the darkened and blurry options suddenly lighting up as it's name becomes clear...

Unless people want to purchase something like Lucky I, I don't think we have enough Points to buy the better Traits that people wanted to save up for last time. So may as well use this opportunity to look at a different category just so we know what all the options are.

[X] Abilities

Take a look at Skills next night I guess, unless we get a bunch of Points in the intervening time.

[X] Abilities

Yeah I agree with Naan, and this should give the character IC motivation to look up some of the skills and abilities he sees when he's awake so he can get more information on them.

[X] Abilities

Meh, let's just take the chance to check out another category until we have enough to buy Quick Learner.

The Abilities Born of Heroic Legacies
[X] Abilities

You hesitate for a while, uncertain whether to choose Underlings as it has recently appeared or to peruse the abilities section for anything worthwhile. After considerable thought, and a small sigh, you choose the Abilities tab causing the others to slowly disappear as it expands and sending hundreds of new drops of light pouring from the flame. In moments the screen before you is a mess of shimmering colors that changes to organized words just as quickly.

Basic Heroic Legacy Abilities
[] Delay Death [5] - You refuse to leave when work is still undone, on the brink of death you may yet find the power to push onward until your goal is complete. However, a mere mortal cannot avoid death forever and it will inevitably claim you though perhaps you may forge yet a greater legend in that passing.
[] Vanquish Evil [10] - A Hero is most often those who battle the greatest evils in an Era, placing their weapon and life between common mortals and Evil Beings. Drawing upon power unknown your attacks can deal extreme damage to the Evils of the Era.
[] Heroic Charm [5] - A Hero's Legend helps them find companions, allies, and friends in the world at large who will aid them in furthering their quest. Some among heroes are capable of wielding the power their Legacy forms to shape peoples' opinions of them quickly.

May only choose one among the following, the rest will be locked.
[] Hero's Anger [3] -
You find yourself capable of drawing power from your anger, the greater it is the stronger you become (to an extent). However, beware losing yourself to the path of wrath.
[] Hero's Calm Mind [3] - You find yourself incomparable clear of mind and stable. From that clearness, from the stability power can be born though that which disturbs the mind will weaken you. However, beware loving yourself to the path of perceived logic.
[] Hero's Kindness [3] - You find yourself capable of drawing strength from acts of kindness and with every person you help you feel yourself growing more powerful. However, beware abusing that which you claim to uphold.
[] Hero's Desire [3] - You find yourself capable in drawing power from accomplishing whatever it is you desire. Such strength is great, but dangerous for one may lose themselves among self-satisfaction.

Profession Heroic Legacy Abilities
[] Speed Copy [2] - Given available materials you are able to copy documents of a smaller size (no novels or treatises) within ten minutes. Usable twice a day.
[] Speed Reading [4] - You can swiftly finish books that others take days to read in their entirety, but doing so is quite exhausting mentally. Halves reading time for a scroll, or similarly short article. Usable twice a day.
Which traits do you purchase?

Or...

[] Refuse to buy any of them.

I think we should get speed copy it does not cost to many points and will be really useful on our current quest.

We can pick it up if we really want it on our next level up (and we seem to be doing just fine with our normal copying skill, so I don't see the need). If we spend Legacy Points on it here, then we'll need to save up 5 more Points in order to buy the "25% more EXP forever" Trait.

Assuming we get roughly the same amount of points as we did last time we leveled up it should be about 5-6 points which means that when we do level up we should have enough for the 25% extra Xp trait even if we purchase the Speed Copy ability now which can help us right now with our current quest.

Vessel has earned one Heroic Legacy Point for reaching Level 2. Vessel has earned four Heroic Legacy Points for obtaining the blessing of a Greater Being of this Era. Vessel has earned one Heroic Legacy Point for establishing a code of honor unique to themselves.
We only get one Legacy Point for leveling up, most of the Points we first got was from the crit event where we received the God of War's Blessing. Whereas we're allowed to pick two relevant Skills/Abilities/Traits from the list upon level up without any point cost difference between them, one of which was Speed Copying last time. In terms of cost of effort for leveling up, buying Speed Copying with two Legacy Points instead of getting it as a level up reward is 4 times more expensive.

Legacy Points are the most rare resource the Quest has revealed so far, way more than money, Rank points, GP, or EXP. We should never spend them on anything that we can acquire through other means, they should be saved for Legacy exclusive options only.

Also our current Quest is recording finances, copying documents isn't explicitly mentioned in the description like it was for the temple job. And even if it was, Speed Copying would only work on two documents before running out, and we'd have to do the rest of them manually anyways.
